There's definitely sound, try checking these. Can't have you missing out on a great OST.
1. another app is exclusively using your audio device
2. you don't realise your headphones are plugged in
3. speakers aren't on
4. you've chosen the wrong windows audio playback device

The first song isn't actually the opening song, I don't think, although I think it's from the opening of the game. It's more of a mood track.
