"Any movie that can make you think or feel... is a masterpiece." Brilliant work on this, my friend. That sound quality on this video is also so fire. Dude you just keep progressing every release. Proud to know you, bro

‘Prince of Egypt’ brought me, a DreamWorks artist, and my family from London to Hollywood so my children grew up American rather than British as two out of three of them were born in England. Great review of our work. ❤

I always get chills at the red sea parting scene. I watched it for the first time not too long ago and I absolutely love this movie. So perfect I could watch it again and again and still I'd be in tears because of how beautiful the story, music, animation and acting is more so on the music.

To me personally this movie no this art piece is hands down the best adaptation of the exodus story period and I believe it has the most beautiful and alive and alien portrayals of god in media

I watched this movie as a kid and still have nothing but admiration to the cast and crew and well as the writing staff.

I'm in love with this movie, but every time I tried to find a sequel or something more about it, I found people who match Moses and Rameses, like what the hell is going on with this world ?!

I was born on October 18, 1998 almost two month before "The Prince Of Egypt" came out on December 18, 1998 guess you can say that I always attach myself to the movie as my all time favorite childhood movie.
I'm so thankful that DreamWorks have made an grand animated film unlike any other even better then all the movie pass over us, even I top Prince Of Egypt over all Disney animated films so better then The Lion King. "Deliver Us" is so powerful that I always consider my favorite opening of all, I love the amazing all songs from Prince Of Egypt done by Stephen Schwartz and the EPIC scores by Hans Zimmer, including the beautiful duet song "When You Believe" by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. 😇 My favorite songs are "All I Ever Wanted", "Through Heavens Eyes", "The Plagues", "Playing With The Big Boys" and the EPIC "Deliver Us" including the finale score is always music in my ears.
I love how they update the story from the Bible, instead of focusing on the journey but aiming more on the brother relationship between Moses and Rameses, this were my 'Elsa and Anna' characters before Frozen, Prince Of Egypt hold an place in my heart too as I watch from beginning to the ending when Moses received the Ten Commandments.
The actors are such awesome underrated with great celebrities like Val Kilmer, Ralph Fiennes, Sandra Bullock, Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick Stewart, Danny Glover, and even Jeff Goldblum himself. The animation are still awesome done by DreamWorks, to the level that Disney made during the 1990s, When You Believe is my anthem song of all time even to this date I still listen to it.
All I like to say about this review is truly amazing, and I'm truly thankful of you talking about how amazing The Prince Of Egypt hold up to this date as an all time masterpiece, and I will always treasure this movie as my most favorite film of my decades.

Really liked the video, have loved this movie for years and it brings a smile to see others have enjoyed it just as much, but if I may offer 1 point of advice? The audio transitions were INCREDIBLY loud, I would be listening to you and then randomly there would be 2 seconds of ear splitting music, any way to adjust that in future videos would be appreciated 😀

When you believe was sung by michelle feiffer and sally dworsky in the movie, a version by mariah carey and whitney houston was released too and i think it was in the credits

According to my Rabbi, this film is actually more true to the actual events than The Ten Commandments. Suprising, given its animated, but I think that just shows the care with which it was made.

The best Jewish scholarship and archeology even done by Israli Jews admits that the Exodus never happened. Rabbi Wolpe IIRC, for example says that the Exodus could never have happened or if something like it did, nothing like the stories describe. its either all lies, or gross, hyperdramatic exaggaration.

@@satyasyasatyasya5746 anybody who does not believe in the Exodus is not a follower of the Jewish religion. Maybe they are Jewish ethnically, but not religiously. The Exodus is a central tennant of the religion. Its like someone claiming to be Cristian without beleiving in the ressurection

    • @satyasyasatyasya5746
      @satyasyasatyasya5746 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@ethanwinnegrad3402 whats your point? Believing it is one thing, but it didn't actually happen. Thats the whole point of religion; believeing things even when there is no reason to, or while knowing its not true.
I'm ok with stories being powerful and meaningful, bt religions make the claim that these events DID happen, when we know they didn't. Its up to religious people to reckon with that.

@@ethanwinnegrad3402 i study this stuff, the textual, archeological and even theological evidence just isn't there. You may try to pity me as some defence mechanism, but I'm telling you, as someone who knows what they're talking about, the exodus never happened. Get over it.
