from my personal experience, i found another family as soon as I knew that my old family didn't want me around anymore. once i had my new family, i contacted the local foreign affair office and they sent me a list with all the paperwork that I need to submit and gave me a deadline of when everything needs to be in. the most important thing was getting a letter from my old family, stating that our relationship has been terminated and when it was terminated. the rest of the paperwork they needed was a contract between me and my family and the questionnaire i had to submit during my visa application. hope that answers your question :)
What If you want to rematch while your contract is still ongoing with your current family, would it be possible ? How difficult it would be ? And what about the visa expiration??
yes, it’s possible. you should look for a new host family and give your current host family a notice letter. then you need to contact the ausländerbehörder in your new area, they’ll tell you what to do
Hi Nsuku, I found a host family. I have a few questions to ask. 1. Did you submit a medical certificate? 2. The checklist you talked about, where can one get that so my host family can fill out and sign? 3. In the requirements for my country (Nigeria), drivers license and medical certificate and CV aren’t required but would you advise me to get those anyway? 4. The final requirement is courier envelope thingy, how do I get that? Please kindly answer. Also can I see a copy of your motivational letter 🙏🏾 Thank you 🙏🏾
Hey! 1. I didn't need to submit a medical certificate 2. Here's the link to the questionnaire india.diplo.de/blob/2444890/92d8fe7789ebf45429f6def3bd68819b/aupair-fragebogen-data.pdf 3. If it's not required, you don't need it. 4. I have no idea what that is, sorry. I will make a video a video on the motivational letter this week. hopefully, it won't be too late 😌 All the best on your journey :)
Hello, can I ask something? While I am meeting with the family via Skype, can I take my German uncle to the meeting since I cannot translate well? He will be attending from Germany. This will not cause any problems for the family, right?
you're getting a national schengen visa. normally, you're given a regular 3 month visa, once you get to Germany, you need to go to the ausländerbehörde to get it extended
I'm sorry for the questions love I'm just curious you mentioned that the host family also takes out some money for a language course so I can just learn German in Germany?
i don’t think i understand your question 🙈 you have to start learning German before you get here, at least A1. when you get here, you can continue learning and the host family is required to pay for it
@@heyitsNsuku I arrived as an au pair at the beginning of August, but my ausbildung starts in November. Can I still change my visa (I want to leave the au pair) or will the immigration office not allow it because I am still too new? I would be grateful if you answer :)🙏🌸
@@zeynprivv8626 you can change it, as long as you fulfil the visa requirements. i would advice that you start the process as soon as possible because the ausländerbehörde will probably take time
Follow up question about the Ausbildung thing. When transitioning from an Au pair visa to the Ausbildung did you have to go back to South Africa? Or could you just change it in Germany?
It depends on the country you want to go to. if you are a non-EU citizen and want to au pair in Germany, 26 is the max. I suggest checking the age limits on Aupairworld www.aupairworld.com/en/au-pair-programs
I really love your confidence and thanks for the suggestion

Hi Nsuku, how long did you learn German?
it took me about 6 months (self-study) to finish the A1 level
Hello, can I ask something? While I am meeting with the family via Skype, can I take my German uncle to the meeting since I cannot translate well? He will be attending from Germany. This will not cause any problems for the family, right?
i think it's best to ask your potential host family how they feel about it. usually they speak English so you don't need a translator
@@heyitsNsuku okey thank youu very much
So you don't need to book the national visa where aupair is included or does the schengen visa work too
you're getting a national schengen visa. normally, you're given a regular 3 month visa, once you get to Germany, you need to go to the ausländerbehörde to get it extended
You sure there won't be any challenges
So you did german on your own.i need that motivation now
looking back, i don't know how i managed to do it alone. it got hard and frustrating sometimes but the it's worth it in the end :)
Can you be able to apply for ausbildung after.
Hey did the family mail you the physical documents or they just sent over phone?
hey :) they sent the documents via email
Hi, how can you host my boy who is eighteen year. Can he get a job in Germany. Thanks

you don't need any school related documents. i took some of my certificates from university but they didn't need to see them
Can you explain how to write a CV for au pair
hey! i'll make a video soon and show what my cv looked like at the time. hope it'll answer you questions
