I can't judge these , because they're my 2 favorite brands , and i own and have owned several of them. They are both top notch when it comes to quality and affordability IMO!

Just started learning. I was looking at ibanezes but ran across the schecter at my local pawn shop (havent even got home yet). Those bat inlays sold me. Not to mention the 20% off. Make more videos with it. Not too many so I'm sure it will get views
I wasn't expecting such a close call. The Quantums seemed to perform well in the mid to high notes, whereas the Schecter did better down low, but seemed a little pluckier overall. I would choose the Quantums in a full-sized RG 421. Save some money while you're at it.

@@helixworldI’m a die hard schecter fanboy but I also love Ibanez. I’ve got an old ass RG5EX1 with a set of EMG 81/85s in it and that thing honestly sounds better then my Syn custom
Used to love Ibanez. Until I bought a S670 last month, the quality was lacking on the fret board, neck and pickups. Schecter has only gotten better over the years.
The Schecter sounded tighter to my ears so it was more suit to the metal style. I also like the satin finish on the Schecter neck. Thanks for watching!

I couldn't tell any difference between the two as a listener. They're both beautiful guitars.

Schecter is more compressed and nasal, Ibanez is open and balanced. Personally I like the Ibanez better in this clip.

The Schecter sounds better in this demo. Its likely to be the pickups, but it probably uses better quality woods as well.
