Thank you Chacodave. This brings back memories of when I stayed at the La Posada. I have connections to the La Posada, Winslow and the BNSF railroad. My great grandfather was an engineer for the BNSF back when it was the Atchison Topeka and Sante Fe. He started in the steam era and transitioned to the diesel electrics and was an engineer that ran the Super Chief. His daughter my great aunt was a Harvey Girl in the 30's and my grandmother worked in the railroads office. She married my grandfather who was a telegrapher for the railroad. My great grandmother was a LaPrade whose family was instrumental with the growth of Winslow. I have cousins that still live in the Winslow area. My dad was born in the same house my grandmother was born in in 1912 while Arizona was still a territory, just a couple of weeks before it was made a state.
As a videographer myself, I can appreciate beautiful images and artsy composition, and this video clip has that in spades -- great location audio too! It makes me want to jump on a train to Winslow. Kudos!
GREAT VIDEO: I remember as a kid living in Gallup NM back in the early 60's & living on the housing community for the El Paso gas Co. refinery, seeing the Santa Fe trains going by at night, what a sight.

The bridge is at Canyon Diablo. Just North of Meteor Crater. One of my favorite railfanning locations.

This is a good train video. As long as I don't have to see the same train going, and going, and going for 10 minutes, and shot from the same location for all of this time, I can tolerate train videos!!!

Amazing trains driving through breathtaking landscapes. I love the trains from here (Belgium) but nothing comes close to those huge american trains! Hopefully i'll see them by myself soon!

it is west of winslow... and its about 20 miles east of flagstaff... take the exit off i-40 the sign says "two guns" i belive its exit 320 or somthing... that that make a left and go over the freeway and get onto the frontage road... that eventually turns into a dirt road (i advise using a truck, or any vehicle with good ground clearance) stay on the dirt road for about 5 miles... once you get the the tracks make a left and follow it, it'll lead you right to the bridge. check my videos of it out
