my current story is going well i made it to 34,177 i pretty much have everything worked out so i just have to finish writing it i wanted to leave it a little sort somewhere around 40 or 45 000 because i know there are a lot of things i missed that i need to go back and add in hoping to get the first draft down in the next few weeks
i am thinking of rewriting my portal fantasy i really love that story i know so much about it and the world its in all i have to do is reread what i have written take notices and then start from scratch the problem i have with it was i couldn't get the word count up to 90,000 but the boy is only 13 or 14 so it could work as middle grade and if it goes long once i start it then i can go back to being YA my message is God will never live you even if you go to a different world
I love this! If it is a middle-grade book, it doesn't have to be 90k in length. I think of length this way... write the story. Don't add unnecessary fluff to hit a word count. When the story is done, be done. Is this the project you are going to work on in November?

yes the the portal fantasy is what i want to work in November i still miss the story so i would like to give i another go
