In less than 20 minutes from Khorfakkan City you can reach this destination.
H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Thursday, inaugurated Al Subub Rest Area, the latest tourism project in Khor Fakkan, which is located 600 metres above sea level.
The length of the road leading to the Al Suhub area is 6.5 kilometres and includes two lanes for ascent and one for the descent. The road slopes range between three percent and 9.7 percent, which provide the best safety for visitors.

I miss passing through Khor Fakkan whenever I was going from Fujairah to Al Bidya and Dibba. The mountain views alone were more than a scene to behold, the newly constructed artificial waterfall and the water fountains right after Mirba even before starting climbing the hills. Now in Boring Ajman, I wish I had a new job that could send me back to Fujairah or even relocate to Khor Fakkan.
