Hello, Chris here from First Light Optics. As well as the above steps you may need to twist the thread on the front of an optical finderscope to focus it for your eyes. You can then lock it in place with the knurled locking ring.
If you are watching this thinking "I'm going to do astrophotography with a lens. I won't need one" I missed Vega with a 200mm focal length lens. Save your time. Get a rdf.

I've just purchased a 10" bresser dob from FLO, ordered it Saturday evening and delivery is due tomorrow I can't wait.
