When I say brightening it means adding vibrancy and Radiance to the original skin colour... This cream can only help and in reducing hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone and adding a glow to your skin.... Also we should not aim for getting fairer.... having a healthy skin with a strong barrier is important... I hope this clears your doubt.
