The whole "power grid" situation is just disgusting and when it goes down the power company is *never* in a hurry to repair....at least not en La Barra or La Mesa. Politics, man. 😔
@@dougkalagian in my building was 11 months and the day light went on i was in shock i remember i was seating thinking about buying flight ticket to stay in a hotel for 3 weeks in Orlando just to feel how was to sleep in airconditioner after almost one year and out of no where my fan went on and i start craying it was crazy almost a year sleeping on my car or in my living room all wet because the heat tempertures 😢
The people of the state of Puerto Rico have to change that company LUMA for the Con Edison of N.Y. Con Edison of N.Y. is the best for Puerto Rico. Try it you may like it . LMAO
@@dougkalagian depends on installation but using ground mount is very secure. The panels are also able to be disconnected and brought inside if we expect a bad hurricane. Maybe 1-2 hrs notice.
The reason whay that happens is because Puerto Rico doesn't have a contract with Con Edison of N.Y. If Puerto Rico do contract with Con Edison, the entire Island can be illuminated in less than 5 years with cables underground.
I think Con Edison is the company for Puerto Rico, because the Con Edison is the company that keeps N.Y. with the lights on all the time, and have all the experience that a company needs on for the ground and underground jobs. The Con Edison has a good reputation, and they are good.@@dougkalagian
1:19 I'm sorry bro but 9 months to build a gaming PC is absolutely diabolical
😄 the rig must have been legendary

Good report. But southeast in PR the average outage was 9 months, with some towns 12 months
Thank you, Miguel! How long did your power go out for?

Have the panels ever been at risk during a hurricane?

@Alejandro_san wow that’s great, seems like the way to go

Thanks for sharing. Why do you think Con Edison of NY can do the job?
