My theory is quite long so have fun reading: Rasputin and The Bride met at the TGIF party, and she helped Liza Friday unleash her true self. In ALL-STARS mode, they also met but were like friends. During that journey, Rasputin also met Body Movin' and danced with her a bit. In Sugar, they got married. Now we know that in JD23: Night Swan kidnaps Liza Friday and unleashes minions into the TGIF world (we can see the portal in the background), so its most likely that she also went to the original maps of Hot N Cold and Rasputin. The stained glass coaches in the Just Dance map may represent Icona Shard's friends, so while she was in prison she tried to warn them about Night Swan coming, a reason that Rasputin could've been late to the wedding was that he was fleeing from the attack. The reason why The Bride became corrupted is that she had suffered a lot of trauma: she saw Liza Friday turn into a minion, Rasputin went missing on her wedding day and most likely Night Swan's energy affected her negatively, changing her.

I have a different theory. It does related to Body Movin’. Maybe the bride misunderstood the situation of Hungarian Dance No.5. She got so jealous and she maybe thought Rasputin was a cheater. That’s why she’s going psycho, thus Sweet but Psycho.
My theory is actually quite similar to that! I think icona shard called rasputin to get her out of jail on his wedding day, and he agreed. He was making his way to the prison , yet in fear of being captured by the night Swan, he backed out. This explains Why he came back to the wedding at the end of sweet but psycho, and why icona was so mad she was able to break all the gaga coaches out of jail.
I also belive the reason why he went to the prison was because he thought he was helping a friend out, but truly she wanted him all for herself .And by finding this out, rasputin realises he made a HUGE mistake by leaving the bride at the alter which causes the bride heartbreak and icona shard madness
I have a theory that Rasputin was captured by night swan, by him getting freed with everyone else at the end of majesty, that would explain why he’s not at the altar for their wedding. Sweet but psycho would start mid way through majesty, Rasputin getting back right after the song ended and the bride left before he could make it. This would also explain why he’s looking around confused at the end of the song.
I have a little experience in animation and videogame design There is always lore behind the scenes, characters will always have names and backstory, not too complex, just enough So, as a fellow animator im glad to see this information become "public"

It's a good theory but I don't think so. The Night Swan has a son around the age of the other coaches so unless coaches don't age it hard to believe this.
Follow up with the "Rasputin is a hero" theory. If he's the one that broke out the Gagas, maybe he's the driver for Telephone Runaway Version and since the police catch them/are chasing them at the end of that map, perhaps he was detained and/or had a car chase with them that made him late?
I think the coach from Never Gonna Give You Up kidnapped Rasputin to delay the wedding and break up Rasputin and the bride. Rasputin escaped but arrived at the wedding and realised he was too late. Leading to a duet with Never Gonna Give You Up and the bride, halfway through they're kidnapped by Night Swan and now it's up to Rasputin to save the just dance universe and his girl.

I have a crazy theory, what if icona shards was Rasputins ex and he was in a boy band. She might have Been trying to call him but he was busy getting ready for his wedding so she called the boy band Rasputin was in. They called him after he was done getting ready so he went to the band and got his makeover and helped icona out of jail thinking he would get back to his wedding in time but he got there right after the bride left heartbroken. My theory about the bride is that while she was getting ready for the wedding so many of her friends were gone so her and Lisa Friday got ready but while they were looking at a dress for Lisa, night swan turned her into another one of her minions. The bride saw that and ran somewhere back to the wedding venue to prepare. She left to get her hair done for the wedding and knew that she was going to get married when she got back. She came back but Rasputin wasn’t there and night swan saw that as an opportunity to corrupt the bride so she did of course. This is for telephone lore but i rlly want someone to see this sooooo I copy and pasted it here I'd like to point out that when rain on me appeared, they used Ariana grande's coach instead of lady gaga's coach, maybe that means something? Also, when applause has a costume change, the hands in the background look like they're in some sort of cell, so I have a theory that applause's costume change is working with the night swan and was friends with Icona, as they were in the same game so they most likely met. And since applause costume change is working with night swan she was probably scared to also get imprisoned so she refused to help Icona, and that's why she threw the phone.

So I went to applaus by lady Gaga just dance 2014 and the trainer or the main leader had the same or similar to what night swan has. my theory: rasputin got captured while doing his map for memories and turned into a minion but he tried so hard to free himself that he turned into a half minion half coach and he went to boss witch to turn into a full coach. boss witch challenged him to a dance battle and he won but she got the wrong spell or potion (what ever she uses) and turned him into a coach but teleported into the back roud of applause normal where hes trying to escape through the cloth and then he dosent know what 2 do so he calls icona (just dance coach) and thats who shes calling but she gets mad and contacts applause normal to free him in the past map and then eventually drives through uptown funk to get there. He finds never gonna give u up coach and he was invited to the wedding and says to rasputin that she went insane and everyone left to be safe and everyone thinks your a cheater. rasputin feels bad and tries to go to the wedding to find her and tell the story but once he got there he couldnt find her and became depressed so he goes to the club with the boys (the club is Y.M.C.A backround and the boys are the coaches) and then finds hot n cold therebut she looked... different. she had cut all her hair off with a butchers knife and she had all her wedding things off (the other half of the sweet b pyscho outfilt) and she was calling her friend (bebe coach) for advice because of her songs lyrics and gave her good advice. she was gonna go to russia and ruin his reputation with a story that he killed the past queens son by believing he was a holy healer and then poisoned her son but her son was assinated along with her and the people thought she died of old age..... phew that was long

Hello everybody, I have something that I would like to say, 'cause I've been wondering it since this video came out: Wasn't Icona pissed when she was supposedly talking to Rasputin in the telephone, at the point that she threw the phone away? So if she was talking to Rasputin in the telephone, she would be mad that Rasputin couldn't get to break the Lady Gaga coaches out of prison, 'cause of whatever made him not appear in the wedding and not helping them, so Rasputin supposedly made both Icona and The Bride mad, so I don't think that Rasputin broke the Lady Gaga coaches out of prison, I think it may be somebody else, and, I don't know what made him get late for the wedding, but I think it wasn't Rasputin in the other end of the line and breaking the Lady Gaga coaches out, maybe Rasputin was just another prisoner in the Telephone prison. Ok so personally it wasn't Rasputin Cheating it was a breakup, let me create a timeline for you
So they first met in TGIF And they talked, they became good friends and still hung out
Theres a massive timeskip not explained during this time
Sugar then happened and married
another skip happened and they decided to break up, Rasputin and Hot n cold were both sad from this here is what they did
Rasputin moved on healthier, he went to Y.M.C.A and became healthier
Eventually he found Body Movin And they came together
Meanwhile Hot n cold wasnt taking this Breakup well and was venting in Hot n cold
Eventually went insane with sadness hence Sweet but psycho
Keep in mind I think this is after The 2023 Danciverse War
I think TGIF was good friends with Hot n cold and told Rasputin what was happening
Rasputin was driving to where TGIF told Rasputin Hot n colds location and was driving there
Meanwhile Hot n cold was destroying the venue and Rasputin came to late
I think Hot n cold and Rasputin have NOTHING to do with Telephone feels too farfetched

I'd like to point out that when rain on me appeared, they used Ariana grande's coach instead of lady gaga's coach, maybe that means something? Also, when applause has a costume change, the hands in the background look like they're in some sort of cell, so I have a theory that applause's costume change is working with the night swan and was friends with Icona, as they were in the same game so they most likely met. And since applause costume change is working with night swan she was probably scared to also get imprisoned so she refused to help Icona, and that's why she threw the phone.

So I went to applaus by lady Gaga just dance 2014 and the trainer or the main leader had the same or similar to what night swan has. Applaus has people dancing with her LIKE nightswan so there's a possibility that she could be night swan 🦢 ALSO applause the Trainor or character has outfits that night swan looks like she would wear, and on applause just dance video 2014 she has a butterfly or sings on her face for a mask, AND swans have wings and the face the wings or butterfly thing was BLACK or night color, like the name N͟i͟g͟h͟t͟ S͟w͟a͟n͟. This is just a theory I did not go researching Abt applause I just went looking for the song bc I was listening to music. ANOTHER fact is how in applause it looked like there were prisoner's trapped inside and wanted to get out! I haven't played just dance since 2017 and I randomly stumbled upon this video.... what in the world have I missed over the past 6 years 😅
my theory: rasputin got captured while doing his map for memories and turned into a minion but he tried so hard to free himself that he turned into a half minion half coach and he went to boss witch to turn into a full coach. boss witch challenged him to a dance battle and he won but she got the wrong spell or potion (what ever she uses) and turned him into a coach but teleported into the back roud of applause normal where hes trying to escape through the cloth and then he dosent know what 2 do so he calls icona (just dance coach) and thats who shes calling but she gets mad and contacts applause normal to free him in the past map and then eventually drives through uptown funk to get there. He finds never gonna give u up coach and he was invited to the wedding and says to rasputin that she went insane and everyone left to be safe and everyone thinks your a cheater. rasputin feels bad and tries to go to the wedding to find her and tell the story but once he got there he couldnt find her and became depressed so he goes to the club with the boys (the club is Y.M.C.A backround and the boys are the coaches) and then finds hot n cold therebut she looked... different. she had cut all her hair off with a butchers knife and she had all her wedding things off (the other half of the sweet b pyscho outfilt) and she was calling her friend (bebe coach) for advice because of her songs lyrics and gave her good advice. she was gonna go to russia and ruin his reputation with a story that he killed the past queens son by believing he was a holy healer and then poisoned her son but her son was assinated along with her and the people thought she died of old age..... phew that was long
I would be lying if I say I don't want more just dance lore, because it is so few and far between and ask you to do some looking and I am all in for that. Maybe I will find something, when I check back JD1

Hello everybody, I have something that I would like to say, 'cause I've been wondering it since this video came out:
Wasn't Icona pissed when she was supposedly talking to Rasputin in the telephone, at the point that she threw the phone away?
So if she was talking to Rasputin in the telephone, she would be mad that Rasputin couldn't get to break the Lady Gaga coaches out of prison, 'cause of whatever made him not appear in the wedding and not helping them, so Rasputin supposedly made both Icona and The Bride mad, so I don't think that Rasputin broke the Lady Gaga coaches out of prison, I think it may be somebody else, and, I don't know what made him get late for the wedding, but I think it wasn't Rasputin in the other end of the line and breaking the Lady Gaga coaches out, maybe Rasputin was just another prisoner in the Telephone prison.
