Local here! Prince's Hot Chicken is the place to go if you are looking for the establishment that started it all. Also lots of good pizza places and burger joints in town! Thanks Mark & Jocelyn for always putting Nashville in a good light.

Preston - another Nashville native here and you are so right - Prince’s is the original!

My favorite spot. I thought Prince was going to be an overrated tourist trap but it turned out to be my chicken favorite

So glad you mentioned The Loveless! It’s my favorite place to eat. We buy the peach preserves by the case!

Great video! I'm planning a vacation to Nashville, from northern Michigan, and am looking for tips to make sure I don't miss anything. Thank you! 💜

For soul food, I would recommend Swett's and Kingdom Cafe. They have more like Meat & 2, rather than Meat & 3, but they're great anyway.

For hardcore soul food lovers I recommend boiled pigs feet and boiled pigs ears but it’s usually only for the devoted fans

Hattie B's was a long wait and I would have been just as happy at Chik Fil A.

*cronut* - Legally you can’t call then cronuts. They’re “100 layer donuts!” 😆
*Assembly Food Hall* - I had to look up because it didn’t exist when I last visited Nashville. Looks cool.
*Varallo’s* - Two blocks from Assembly is the oldest restaurant in the STATE. OK, their original opened 120 yrs ago; this was their 2nd location. Breakfast, burgers and meat+3 but they started as a chili stand around 1900 so definitely get their “famous” 3-Way Chili (not Cincinnati 3-way, 4-way or 5-way). Varallo’s is spaghetti topped with tamales, topped with chili. 😀👍
*Loveless* - I’ve heard so much about them but haven’t tried. One day.
    *Excellent Eats episode, y’all.*

Hate that Arnolds is closed now. Country Cafe off of Fesslers is prob my favorite local meat and 3. Its also a block from Tex's BBQ which is one of my favorite BBQ places. Martins is really good. Have not been to Central BBQ but the original in Memphis is the best BBQ in the state.

I've been to Nashville several times and for me, my weakness has been donuts. I love to eat them and Five Daughters has a real donut. Nice vlog. Your biggest fans Harriet and Jim Richmond, Va.

Catfish is a very American thing. Personally, I don't like it. But Lord, do the people I grew up with live it. My husband included.

Moore's Spicy Fried Chicken in Hendersonville > better than any Nashville Hot Chicken, yes even Princes or Hattie B's. By a long shot!

    The Loveless: Yes
The Pancake Pantry: Honestly, IHOP has better pancakes. It wasn't worth the wait for us.
