Male to Female Servo Extension Cables - Kitronik

These servo extension cables have three 22-AWG wires joining a male Futaba J connector and a female JR connector. Since a female JR connector can be plugged into a male Futaba J connector, each end of the cable is compatible with both Futaba and JR-style connection.

Does it matter which way the connector plug is turned when you connect the 2 parts ?
It seems to fit both ways.

Yes, it matters which way around they are connected. The video shows the correct way to connect them, connecting them the wrong way around can damage the servo and possibly the power source too.
