The writer in the 2nd story should talk to a military counselor or lawyer because her husband can get kicked out of the military for cheating in their marriage.
The universe is talking to me. The way the first story about being a late bloomer describes me perfectly. Same age and same situation I’m in right now. Now what’s even crazier is I’m even on the same career path as that person. This episode brought be so much comfort in knowing there are others out there worrying about similar things. As always your big sister advice has hit me hard and was much needed. Being the oldest and only girl sometimes I long for sisterly advice and I am so glad to have that in you both and Alisha and Remi. ❤❤
Taryne, you are an absolute treasure - love your content and I appreciate your courageous vulnerability in sharing your choice to be abstinent - the girlies who share your journey feel seen - never feel bad or deterred from sharing your truth🤍✨ love the podcast!
My heart breaks for the woman in the second story! I hope she gets out of her situation. I also hope she has some safety tactics in line as precaution because I automatically jump to the worst (I.e., men getting violent) when I hear stories like that.
I have a friend who is literally in the same exact situation as the second story. Literally almost every detail the same I almost thought it was her writing in. She finally left him. Y’all did so good with this episode!
2nd writer needs to take this to his commanding officers or someone in charge so he could have consequences for his actions be she needs to be very careful and move in silence (with him meaning don’t alert him of the steps she’s taking) but definitely tell friends and some family members so she’s protected also itd be a good idea to get a mild thing for protection like a spray or something and a lock for her bedroom. I think it’s a very good idea for her to look into a work from home job so she can still watch the kids and go to a church or group where she could build community that will help her get out of there faster or just make it smoother once she’s ready
Been listening to your podcast for years now and this is my first time watchiong the video format and I AM BAFFLED BY HOW GORGEOUS AND BEAUTIFUL YOU TWO LADIES ARE. WOW. WOW. WOW. STUNNING
My kids' father has done almost the same exact stuff as that one story and also had sex with a man all while our son was 6 weeks old and I was recovering from a C-section. And throw some domestic violence in there and it was the worst time of my life for sure and I'm still not honestly all the way over him. Wish I picked better fathers for my kids.
Thank you for everything you say and all the advices you give to these two girls. You are precious been a listener from the beginning ❤️ For the second story, I feel so so bad and so sorry for her... if she can, she needs to find a community, if she doesn't have church she can find a community on Facebook ! I know it's an "old" platform but there are a LOT of groups for everything, walking dogs, dogs community, mom communities, book community. Or, her kids go to school so I guess there are other mom out there when she drop them, maybe there is a few mom you talk to or that seems nice ! This man don't deserve her and don't even deserve any kind of relationship. I am certain she will get throught this very hard time. And I totally agree, children are here also and even if we don't see it, they understand a lot of things and they can sense and see things that we don't imagine, they will have their teenage time and will maybe not understand but one day they will ! And they will wish she left sooner for her happiness and her children's happiness. I hope these things will maybe help her if she is reading this. Lots of love from all of the UA community ❤️❤️
Amazing situations this week are both relatable to friends and family friends I have! They are tough circumstances to be in in regards to romantic relationships. You both gave some sensational advice and reassurance that both have to do what us right for them. Follow their instinct. Listen to their heart, their emotions. I have someone who thought they would not find live they found it when turning 31. They accepted that as they had dated before, not many intentional dates. This friend of mine, like many, put her career first. Dating on and off for six years without any official relationship. Life sometimes takes time. 💙✨️ Happy New Year, ladies. Let's hope 2025 is going to be filled with prosperity 🎙🎧
This is why the trad wife trend is SO dangerous. Of course, it is AMAZING if you can be a stay at home mom, but you need to have a backup plan. A degree. A career. Something. When you don’t, and crap like this happens - or god forbid your husband dies - you get screwed!!!! You’re trapped. And no one deserves that.
What’s wild is the disrespect for a women who clear loved him and like who does that! Like disgusting 🤮 I feel there isn’t an excuse for doing this someone! Like at this point you are a sociopath! In my humble opinion.. He doesn’t know love and or is incapable.. anyway I truly hope the women in this write in gets the love she deserves and finds a real man and also has the happiness she deserves ❤man what a pig!
Guys hate when women fish for compliments constantly be careful Taren you will scare people away with that. Maybe learn to love yourself enough that you don’t need those words constantly. Saying this with love ❤
