in reference to 29:43, I've done 8 playthroughs without using the snowfield skip, meaning I've fought Niall way too many times to count. The hardest part is the summons, and once gone Niall isn't too bad himself because of how exploitable his AI is. Stay away from any storm and punish what follows. At a medium distance he will often use one of 2 attacks, the jump: begins with a small jump stabs the ground with lighting and ready to jump, a fast weapon can sneak a hit before the jump and most weapons get one immediately after then roll immediately. The other attack is the rush, where he begins with a larger ice storm before running you down, same rules apply as after the jump, because he'll normally try to counter the same way ( a jab with his pole if behind, a swipe if in front). Just saying this for future reference, fighting just Niall can get pretty cathartic because of the rhythm that generates from his small movepool.

@@theonepieceisreal8878 as far as I know Radahn and the fire giant's arenas are set up in a way that means their npc summons won't increase the bosses health. Because the healthbar is already loaded and all of the summons are inside the arena it won't retroactively increase boss health. There was actually a fun way to see this in action with a boss that wasn't designed around it with a (now patched) glitch in volcano manor that let you activate the godskin noble fight from outside its arena, summon a cooperator or two, and then walk into the already active boss room with two friends and no healthbars balanced to accommodate it
The difference between Malenia and Fire Giant and why there was no phase 2 fire giant, as far as I can tell, is because Phase 1 and Phase 2 are actually 2 different Fire Giants. The 2nd phase one is under the ground during phase 1.
I was thinking it also might have to do with maybe Malenia 2 (possibly) being hardcoded to open with Scarlet Aeonia and that potentially causing issues in some arenas when entering the fog gate, since it's not just Fire Giant that's split, but every other boss with two phases. Maliketh, Rennala, Rykard, Mohg, Margit, and all the others are all split, but Malenia's isn't, so it has to be some issue with her specifically.
I think it only changes phases if the boss its replacing has a phase change, the magma wyrm has a phase 2 so Melenia could phase change. Rennala didn't phase change because Red Wolf is only one phase. And whenever a boss gets a new health bar from a phase change it gets replaced by a new randomized boss
@@Figglebottom_Official That can't be right. For example, look at MythyMoo's enemy randomiser. Malenia replaced royal knight loretta, who doesn't have a phase 2, but she still had her 2nd phase. Also, no other boss has their second phase just spawn like that, it's always separated when it's a cutscene phase change. Malenia breaks the rules of the randomiser as much as she breaks the rules in the base game, so it's probably a conscious decision to make it harder.

The Redmane soldiers kidnaped Gideon Ofner, under the disguise of the people they knew were going to the festival. This meant Gideon would attack the people there, buying time for Rahdan. He went to Mohgwyn and usurped Mohg. Mohg left and joined his brother in the capital (Morgott does not call Mohg a traitor in his opening cutscene and it seems Mohg was probably busy with Mohgwyn so I'm going to guess he probably wasn't fighting over Great Rune that much. When the player returns after burning the erdtree, he tries (and fails) to stop them earlier than last time. However in his absence, a Mimic Tear notices the elden throne unprotected and tries to seize control. This makes the Elden Beast furious and it comes to attack it. It arrives a few seconds to late and, as the Mimic was mimicking the player, the Elden Beast attacks the player. With the thorns gone, Niall comes to claim the title of elden lord. Loretta attempts to avenge her, but fails Placidusax and Fire Giant got so pissed at Marika they joined forces to kill the gods. Morgott died, so Mohg took over Leyndell and took his place. Aggy: I immediately regret my decision.
32:45 foreshadowing the dlc
"this randomizer has so much lore'. Radhan at Mohg's arena saying "Miquella is mine and mine alone". scarily prescient
I think my favorite part of this was Rennala taking her students on a field trip to the mountaintops.
the cut at 11:25 was perfect lmao
Wtf, aint no way, what are the chances radahn is saying miquellas his, like what
radahn being in mohg’s place is a funny prediction now that the dlc dropped
DLC accurate lore for mohgs fight
radahn saying "miquella is mine and mine alone" is so ironic now
Honestly, would love to see every boss be fire giant, just to see how he looks and fits in all of the different arenas.
32:45 Bandit Bussy foreshadowing. He was tryna tell us something...
32:44 insane dlc foreshadowing
Niall fits surprisingly well with Radagon's arena, and theme
Seeing Radahn near the Cocoon hurts my soul...
32:44 this aged well
That scream at 11:30 was so perfectly cut, his mouth barely even moved 🤣
LORE!
Renalla got kicked out of the library and reclaimed it when you killed her son and Maliketh in a trenchcoat. But she betrays you to attempt to prevent you from getting to Farum Azula. Loretta attempts to avenge her, but fails
Placidusax and Fire Giant got so pissed at Marika they joined forces to kill the gods.
Morgott died, so Mohg took over Leyndell and took his place. Radahn, seeing this, took over Mohgwyn.
Mimic Tear and the Elden Beast tried to stop you in a last ditch, but failed.
Niall became Elden Lord before you
Maliketh took Marika's place after her shattering the Elden Ring.
7:10 honestly that voice fits the godskin noble better than it does godrick, also 19:51 great cut lol
This is such a cheeky Rando I loved that Godrick was in place of Goldfrey and had the title First Elden Lord and everyone collectively who knows the game and lore goes yeah he wishes and it's just so cool seeing so many others catch and know that. Just such a cool fucking game!
Also uploaded two years ago and Radahn is the boss that shows up where Mogh is? Talk about a randomizer run ahead of its time! Who coulda guessed!
looking at the comments after the DLC is hilarious, imagine getting major spoilers for the DLC in a 2 year old randomizer video 💀
Mohg is Radahn??? DLC reference???? He knew???
June 2024
The DLC has been released,
32:33 The Randomizer predicted it
I really really respect you as a content creator, The amount of hours you spend nearly a full day just to finish this is just insane.
Some of the coincidences in this randomization were just great, like Rennala replacing the Red Wolf and the Godskin Noble Getting replaced with the duo
