Love the Virginian, watch it over and over. Unfortunately phone interviews make it very difficult to hear the interviewee...other than that, thanks so much, always wondered about Mr Drury and the filming of the best damn Western series ever made..

Bernie Kopell was a very good friend and tennis partner of Doug McClure, too. Kelly Lucey is a good friend on the Virginian Posse, which she invited me to join. Doug and John Wayne were friends and when they were filming in England, Doug on "The Land That Time Forgot", the Duke on "Brannigan", they got together after work. Looking forward to meeting Jim again at the end of March in Swanton, Ohio to celebrate his 80th birthday.
