I mean, the sky cruise is kinda dope, not gonna lie. But the only problem is that it runs on nuclear energy. so the sky cruise might explode from the radioactive energy.

@@LukeGamerzlol7118 The physics, aerodynamics, and weight of this thing make it impossible to take off, and “more engines” doesn’t fix this at all. Even the center of mass would make this thing nose dive if it even got into the air.

@@076657 That's false. Companies have stuck with what we know to be safe and reliable. There was considerable research that showed oblique wings are much more efficient.

There isn't a runway that could handle the sky cruise. Not to mention the weight of something light that would never get in the air. We can't make air craft carriers and sky scrapers fly. It's ridiculous.

The sky cruise concept also dates back to the 1960s/1970s so it’s a very old concept that probably will never happen unless we eventually develop the technologies needed to make it work! :)

Fun fact: the sky-cruise was actually a 3D model made by a teenager and may or may not be a real concept, I’m no expert but the mass bulky pill-shape along with the amount of cargo it would need more then just massive jet engines to fly and probably would be impossible to build and would almost crash immediately, not to make you more disappointed but they would need to hire thousands if not millions of captains and crew, and would be almost quadrillions of dollars.
The entire idea of a cruise is that you travel towards a location whilst having comfort and fun af your disposal. The idea of flying to something that is also flying, with air drag and planning in mind, is redicilous for something that has no use for being in the sky instead of being on the ground.
That E-Fan X looks exactly like the BAe 146.
