I don't believe he's like the spawn of Satan I just believe he's a guy who let the wrong instincts get a hold of him and he needs help. If these people are so depraved and shouldn't even exist then then why would they even be born? That's like imagine if we live in a world where they can look into a child's future and say they are going to murder someone one day. I’ve worked with SO in prison as a counselor (why I quit in the end). A lot of clinical therapy for SO is very sanitized language to not be direct about the abuse they cause. It’s watered down to “your behavior”. So I’m not surprised he referred to it in a watered down way.

Because he didn't say it against an officer, so it would be without consequences, lying happens more when there are no consequences.
And if they would talk with him and he would say it was a joke or a lie then they wouldn't have enough proof to even get a search warrant, since there is no victim they can actually point to and no proof of the crime...
I don't know what they could have done, I think they could have done more, like starting an investigation to get the proof they needed to arrest him (like the FBI did), but I fully understand why he can't get arrested outright on just this statement. It sucks, but that is just the way it works. There are people that lie about doing crime frequently, even against the police and it sends cops on a wild goose-hunt, which takes resources away from crimes that are actually happening and require investigation.

    • @iamhereblossom1588
      @iamhereblossom1588 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +50

A confession is rarely enough to prosecute a suspect successfully. They can always say they felt pressured to confess or take their statement back. It’s preferable to have a solid case that the jury HAS to convict on to avoid them voting not guilty and the suspect being set free due to lack of evidence. Which requires a good amount of solid evidence.

Some politicians here, in Canada, were arrested for pedophilia for visiting and partaking of, "luxuries," given to them by a wealthy host named Jeffery Epstein. But it was not just Canadian politicians. Politicians from United States of America, México, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Newfoundland, and a few other nations were frequenting Jeffery Epstein's island playground served by child slaves, and, "private," servants. It was so bad that very high end politicians from many nations were going to visit his forbidden island of desires. I believe the Americans captured him and had him detained. But he indulged so many high end clients that it is likely he was murdered so he would not be able to reveal the perverts that visited him. He was found dead of a suspected suicide. There are many that doubt that. But nobody wants to really investigate into it too much. After all, the high end political clients could come after the ones doing the investigating. Jeffery Epstein took his dark secrets to the grave, whether it was by his choice or the choice of his clients. Some of his clients were presidents, prime ministers, governors, parliamentary officers, celebrities from many nations, wealthy-elite trustfund kids that probably make carbon fiber submarines and make private space orbiters. He had a very, very, elite list of clients that many did not want revealed.

You would probably be surprised to find out that the FBI hesitates to investigate because once you pull on a thread, the whole sweater falls apart. Law Enforcement has a HUGE number of pedophiles.
My child was raped by a Border Patrol agent. He got away with it because the Sheriff AND the local police dept conveniently “Forgot” to give him his Miranda Rights before he confessed.
Cops, judges, prosecutors, senators and Presidents. None of them want you pulling on the threads.
The years it took to get an investigation gave all the big players time to duck out and not get caught.

As a former prosecutor, I just wanted to confirm - you can get a warrant based on recordings. And, even if the FBI was concerned with the credibility of Rochelle’s evidence, it’s definitely enough to start an investigation.
Hell, all the FBI needed do was conduct a recorded phone call of their own - and, if he told Rochelle that he had child pornography on his computer and/or phone, they could have easily gotten a search warrant for the devices.
This case reminds me of the Epstein case. According to the current charges, Epstein trafficked minors to … no one. It’s been years, and they even caught Ghislaine Maxwell (who procured the girls), but they haven’t charged a single perpetrator who visited the island.

At the end he said, "ok kiddos, on the way out, you have to give me either a hug or high five! No exceptions!" My blood ran cold and I immediately felt uncomfortable. I was being sexually abused by family members at the time, so the idea of having physical contact with a man i did not know was horrifying to me. I tried to tell my teacher this, but she did not listen. I got to him and said "I don't really like to be touched." He said, "oh please! Im not scary, I won't hurt you!" And pulled me in for a tight hug before I could say anything else. I was literally shaking. I was visibly disturbed, he just laughed and said I would be fine. what really strikes me about this case is the unwillingness of police to actually do anything. Remember, one of Jeffrey Dahmer's victims escaped naked into the streets, found cops and the cops returned the victim to Dahmer, who claimed it was a "lover's spat". The victim of course was murdered shortly thereafter. Or more recently, you have Uvalde's police refusing to take on a shooter murdering school children because they didn't want to get shot. If the police aren't willing to actually protect children, exactly what purpose are they serving in our communities? I do understand that there needs to be probable cause and all that, but they seem to find very flimsy 'probably cause" in traffic stops where they want to harass someone over weed.

Infiltrating a porn ring that is distributing actual pornography, for example. A guy bragging that he went to Thailand and had tons of sex isn't very strong evidence. Some people just get off on making up shit that never happened. You can not get a conviction by going into a chatroom and baiting guys into talking about weird depraved fantasies they have. Even on To Catch a Predator, they had to have the suspects actually show up to the house to stand a chance of a conviction. You wouldn't want those laws changed to make it so that anything you say online is potential grounds for a search warrant.

Rochelle is a strong and brave woman. Most people wouldn't do what she did to get these disgusting monsters locked up. I'm sure she had an some idea about the backlash and accusations she'd get for doing what she did. Without her bravery and determination who knows how many more children would've been abused. It's sad to me that there are people out there who can't see the good she did despite all the obstacles and push back from law enforcement. I am also incredibly disturbed by the fact the police wouldn't take Jared's admissions of the crimes he committed against children. Them saying that Jared needs to do something is incomprehensible to me. If someone admits to a murder they don't demand to see the murderer in action...I just don't get it. In so many ways and in so many cases our justice system fails the victims and the community.

The secret story behind his weight loss? He was attending IU and would frequent a subway near his house to creep on a girl that worked there. She finally got fed up and transferred to a subway on the opposite side of the campus, so he started walking to that location to keep creeping. The IU campus is huge, so he lost weight walking this distance daily to stalk. And thanks to a restraining order, this is all public record in Bloomington. Subway had to know going in he was a creeper, and hired him as a spokesperson anyway.

Then he talked about subway of course. & then pulled out a pair of pants that used to fit him when he was in a larger body. Then he pulled kids from the assembly & had them go inside the pair of pants to show how big he was & to see how many kids could fit in there…. Kind of disturbing looking back on this. Jared actually came to my middle school in Alaska when I was in 7th grade.. I was an office assistant and it was my job to give him a student tour of the school. He was such a "hero" to me (they do say never meet your heroes..) as I was overweight as a child but he looked at me with utter disgust, wouldn't make eye contact or talk to me, and only paid attention to the pretty, fit popular girls.. I had to talk to him throughout the tour of our school and he would not look at me or make eye contact with me during that entire time either. When he did want to communicate with me? He would communicate with me through what I assume was his publicist? Or something. I distinctly recall feeling total shame and that I was so big that even Jared was disgusted by me. I wholeheartedly felt that my weight situation was completely hopeless after that encounter.. I remember thinking too that it was really creepy how he was looking the popular girls.. He was looking at them how boys in my grade looked at them.. Also, I remember thinking of how much of a stuck up, pretentious prick he was & how I felt that Jared thought he was better than everyone else. He also had a LOT of power by being a "celebrity" coming to a predominantly rural state and a very tiny town (considering the average towns in the United States). So when the charges came out over a decade later? I was not necessarily surprised.. To say the least...

I beat my head against the wall of bureaucracy when trying to report my ex husband when I left the abusive relationship because he was actively pursuing a sexual relationship with a 15 year old foster kid. He was 32 at the time and knew it was illegal and didn't care. I took text messages, emails, photos of them kissing, everything I could find to protect this girl and literally got told there was nothing they would do. I even sat down with her case worker at cps and reported it! They said that the only thing they could do was lock up the 15 year old in juvie until she was an adult if he continued to have contact with her. It made me so sick.
As far as I know, he wasn't able to actually go through with her plans. I did get her moved to a different foster family and they did monitor her online activity. A little over a year after I left, my ex died. So he is not a danger to anyone anymore. But damn did I get so freaking mad at the system.

Yes, there are many, many sickos out there. The penalty should be VERY SEVERE because of its lifelong effect on us. These acts occurred at ages 5, 7, 8, 9 and 11. I am 59 now and there hasn't been a week in my entire life that I was not haunted by this. EVIL!!!

because you choose not to you lack much neccessary human knowledge. a pedophile can literally be a boy/girl being touched by a homosexual male or female. either will occur. I say homosexual because the opposite sex is worse. and everyone always every single God damn time comforts themselves in thinking specifically it has to a male predator abusing a female victim is the worst. but its not doesnt matter if shes pregnant. youre telling me youd rather a female? Because if you havent then you need to reach homosexual females doing it to young female victims then which I have compassion for because nobody listens thats actually the worst and also cosndiering theres sexuality transitions a female can have a fake penis so what would you say a biological female with a penis ejaculating on a young girl do? What then tell me because im curious my mind is only as fucked by pornography as much as society is by a lack of morals at large. Blame Humanity for Distancing itself away from God. God isnt dead. But we Are Dead because were so far away were fucked.
