    Really well-made video! I'm surprised you don't have more subs!
    Small piece of constructive feedback: try to keep the volume the same throughout the video (some parts are very quiet and other parts quite loud).

      I appreciate the feedback a lot! I definitely could have given the audio one or two more passes on this one, I think I usually balance pretty well but this one wasn't as great as normal.

    Hello I recently found your channel and you've become a great inspiration for me. I'm also from the midwest (Chicago) so I relate so much to the videos and journey you have recorded on your way to live in Japan. I've been working on trying to move and work in Japan and people like you and Chris Broad (Abroad in Japan) inspire me and help me out a lot on how to prepare and what to do to reach my goal. I'm trying to become an English language teacher through the same program Chris did but it helps a lot seeing how it is from the perspective of a midwesterner like myself thanks to you. Please keep up the good work I definitely know you can reach to be a big channel on showing how beautiful Japan can be and what it's like living over there. I'll definitely be here for every video so please keep inspiring more people like me! (P.S. Kind of also a big W that you're a Persona fan like me and I see you enjoy similar anime like me because I did see like a Chainsaw man manga or poster in one of your videos LOL)

      Thank you so much for sharing, I think Japan could use more midwesterners! I have a new video coming out soon, and then after that, a BIG project that should help the channel grow even more. I want to get one big project out a month if possible, so we shall see where that takes me! Teaching English in Japan is definitely an interesting experience, I've learned a lot through the process!
      Thanks so much for watching, I'm excited to make more content and to keep growing over time!

      @@KozyKotatsu I'm really excited to see more of your projects! And yes I'll definitely try to finally get there in the next 2 years. It will be amazing to see how much you might grow by the time I finally get there. I kind of also want to plan vlogging my adventure when I'm close to the process of being able to work in Japan. I always loved filming videos! (I just was never crazy on very fond of editing LOL which is fun because u are amazing and seem to enjoy it). But thank you for the reply and the inspiration again!

    It's impossible to not notice how your editing innovativeness and video quality jumped so high after your first videos, especially after the Persona video, and no need to mention that achieving your dream and leaving the stress behind glowed your face and skin, you look in shape, everything is just very good and I hope it will be better for you, peace ♥

      I kind of took one of Mr. Beast's comments to heart.
      It goes something like, "Your first video is going to be trash. But if you make every video a little better than the last for 100 videos, you're going to get views and have an audience."
      The point is of course if you keep improving every time, eventually you'll be way better at what you do, and my goal is to try and always find new editing tricks and skills to make better videos, faster. I'm glad you enjoy the content!

      @@KozyKotatsu I really don't know why but your talent is underrated :/ But you're right and clearly, you've taken Mr Beast's comments to heart. The key as you mentioned in your video is how frequent the uploads are, and I believe that if you continue to balance it with your ideal view of making your content, you will hit on everybodies algorithm. Sorry if I talked long, I wish you, your family, and your girlfriend all the best!

    Nice one man looks like you’re living the dream! What’s the song btw? Reminds me of something off Persona!

    • @KozyKotatsu
      @KozyKotatsu  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I appreciate it! The song is from Persona Q 2, it's got a fantastic soundtrack for anyone who loves persona. The song is called Cinematic Tale, it has all the Persona vocalists on it, so it's a bop

    Look at you with all these fancy transitions AND the lyrics synching in the shots... hello??
    Also I think the avg. food stuff in the US is just way fattier and unhealthier than in Japan which does have pretty high standards for food but I cant really comment on that to be fair I havent experienced it first hand

    • @KozyKotatsu
      @KozyKotatsu  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Haha thanks! I found the song and knew I had to use it for the video, was perfect for the vibe. I'm trying to improve on every video I make!
      As for the food in Japan, it's probably healthier than American food in general, but then again the Japanese pretty much invented High Fructose Corn Syrup 😂😂
