    That blue dress at 14:38 looks like a mexican huipil! I saw several items that looked like mexican clothing. I was a little shocked honestly. I somehow did not expect that traditional clothes in japan. Huipil are meant to be worn in the summer. They are usually shapeless and baggy and meant to allow lots lf air flow for the body so one does not overheat.

      @@bellal3167 welcome! I wish I owned that specific blue one. I’m gonna try to find someone who is selling online who is mexican to get a dress from. Its best if you get them from Oaxaca. That’s the state in mexico where those mainly originate. It’s a mesh of Spanish and Native clothing. Very Native based

      extra: also im quite surprised that there was Mexican cultural clothing in Japan! i didn’t expect that mostly because of how far apart they are

    Its so crazy that all this stuff would be 2-3$ each at American thrifts! or even at the goodwill bins, this stuff reminds me of the stuff you can get there for $1.25USD per pound!

      You’d be shocked at how much more marked up it is in other thrift stores here lol, when I say this is cheap for Tokyo I really mean it 😂

      This store is very cute and curated tho. In the US most curated vintage/consignment stores have prices all over the place as well. Even big thrift stores are priced more like $4-10 for most dresses. The bins are cheap but you literally sort through bins of clothes and you have to sort through piles of literal trash to find something it's not very comparable.

      At my goodwill it's 4.99 per shirt. And consignment shops are similar prices to the shop they went in bc they're curated.

    If you're afraid of teddy knocking over vases or any home decorations you could use something called "museum wax" to hold everything in place safely

    I’m from Tennessee in America and simply southern is actually a huge thing around here. Personally it’s not my style but you’ll definitely find people wearing it here.

    the dress at 14:38 is a traditional Mexican dress! interesting to see that it made its way to Japan! and the skirt in 9:00 is also part of a traditional Mexican dress as well~

    That thrift shop was amazing, even the plastic bags were cute. I was looking at the unicorn on the table by the necklaces, I would have bought that and maybe the white lolita jsk. Your haul was great especially the dress, I say buy the purple swirly vase :)

    Video idea: you and your Bunka (sorry idk the spelling) friends go thrifting and put together cool outfits in various Japanese styles/eras. Like some Harajuku, funky 80s, modern layered styles, maybe some Sukeban, etc.

    That shop is so cute! You absolutely HAD to get those shoes I’m so glad you did- I was like yelling at my screen lmaoo. The big flower necklace was also super cute, but I can see it being hard to coordinate. Those greeting cards as wall art will be sooo cute and unique~
    My enby self has been in a more androgynous mood lately, and that combination of the green dress over the cream collared shirt on the wall at 12:35 was calling to me 🤩 I would style it as like a big top over pants, maybe with a bolero tie or something? I wish I lived in Japan but I’m sure it would already be sold by the time I saw this video anyways 🥲

    I like the sound effect that sarah wanted on the shoes lmao it was really funny, would buy the mannequin yellow dress, and I thought I saw a purple/pink plaid but then I think it was actually a skirt and I like it better if it were pants I think

    i think the lolita dress might be from bodyline as it has the red tag and they usually have a red one. I think you can wear it even tho you are not into lolita or so i mean it's clothes and they are cute and you like them!! I loved the video so much and your friend seems like really nice!     uh so I'm from the states and where I live there's nooooo thrifting that isn't actual garage.. when you said a lot of items are imported from the USA I actually got mad lol like its impossible to shop japan without actually going there and your telling me our prime thrifting is being sent away. godddd whyyyy!
    not to mention there are no cute stores like that here they don't exist at least not where I am.
    another thing everything looks so clean and steamed god please take me to japan hahah
    please find us unique stores in japan like this that have online stores that ship to the USA ( like for non Japanese speakers) you know ship world wide and all that lol .. I checked out this stores Instagram and I wish I could buy everything.

    About those shoes, if they’re too difficult to walk it, I think they would look really cute if you tie a white ribbon to go around your ankle to the back strap, and feel a little more secure. So cute though 😻😻

    14:41 I am 99% sure that’s definitely from Guatemala, my grandma visits her mom all the time there and she comes back with clothes and accessories and candy for us, my little sister’s dress looked almost exactly like that
