What a beast, and a rare one at that. I miss Byron Originals...such cool kits. The yearly "Striking Back" air show was epic at the time. Thanks for sharing Stuart.
What an amazing flight great job Juan . Cant wiat for the day Battery technology catches up with EDF for longer flights 😁. Take Care Stuart always a pleasure
Recently I’ve switched over to molicel packs shaved of some 600 grammes and increased the flighttime to 6 minutes now …. Still under development and some fine tuning to get the same performance as lipo’s
Andries has just got to remember to stand slightly in front of the pilot so the camera doesn't try to pull focus away from the plane ;) But in all seriousness it is a good camera, but focus does suffer on overcast days. We used it to shoot another model recently when the sun was out and it worked great.
Nice, I'm installing twin 120mm edf on a byrons f18 1.7 75 scale
Stuart. That is so cool flight. Good to see you making videos. It’s been awhile. Hope you doing well. 😊👋🇺🇸
Those powerlines behind the flying field make me nervous. That plane flies on rails. Good job with the set up. And a beautiful plane.

👍👍✈️✈️ nice flight!!
Excellent, would love to see the internal setup on this, fan and esc layout, battery placement etc. Great flight!
I’ve posted those in the Byron group
The sound!!!

its true we're certainly not a gas level flight times, but considering the vintage of this model jet design, 4mins average is very respectable.

Nice model! What is the landing gear that is used? I am building one myself
The gear is from RC crafters with JP actuators
Nice flight...but it's time for a new video camera...😂...too much out- of-focus IMO.
