- Hey everyone! Today I'm installing the entry gland for my solar panel wiring. Really easy job to do. I used the everland gland. I chose this one because it accepts a wider range of cable: 3mm² to 12mm². The solar cables I used were 10awg and came with mc4 connectors. (Link below) If this is your first time watching my channel, I'm building a 2018 Mercedez Sprinter 2500 rwd and making youtube videos as I go.
Enjoy!

thanks for the vid, super hlep. btw, this deep dub house track is FIRE! sounds like the stuff coming out of South Africa
Thanks!
Great video and love the soundtrack.
Thanks 👍
Great video, will be doing ours soon so really helpful 👍
Hey! My first comment!! Thank you and good luck! 🚐🚐🚐
If you use a step drill bill, the hole is cleaner, easier to make than changing drill bits 5 times.
Agreed
During the final shot I could see metal chips on the roof.
Needs a either a magnet run over the surface, something sticky to pick up the chops, or a good wash.
life sure is easier with a step-up bit
Thanks for the vid! My gf wants to know who made the music in the background. She likes it. Lol
How do you remove the connectors for the wire to fit through the hole you made?
They just thread on and off.
Hello mate how is the entry gland holding up, nearly a year now. Looking at installing one on my truck, cheers.
Perfectly fine. Use sea view global entry glands though. Wayyyy higher quality
Which way did you face the cable openings on the gland?
Towards the front of the van. Haven't noticed any sound or noise.
Osiris Vans great, thx.
what size drill bit did you use?
I forget. I think we did 3/8". Just remember to step up bits. (start small and slowly work your way up) Guess you could try a literal "step-up bit" Good luck!!!
Also, remember to paint the metal and use gromets
soundtrack??? why??
Because.
I loved it!
