This is my first time rewatching this episode in a while and Shoyo's "Thank you" just made me straight burst into tears. It sounded so genuine and it's so hard to put into words how this made me feel knowing Shoyo is thankful that Gintoki is protecting his will. This show man😭

この回まで高杉ヤバい不気味な奴だなとしか思ってなかったけど、これ見ると苦しいくらいに真っ直ぐで優しい人だったんだなって…。Until this time, I only thought Takasugi was a creepy guy, but when I saw this, I realized that he was a painfully straight and kind person.
「お前こそ誰よりあの人を救いたかった筈なのに。」高杉が銀時の過去を知っていたのが当時本当に驚いた。話したんだ…先生か銀時かは分からないけど。"You must've wanted to save him more than anyone." I was really surprised that Takasugi knew about Gintoki's past.I don't know who talked to him.

damn the more I watch Takagusi the more I think he's a sore loser like so annoying. They made other antagonists more favorable than him. I just lose the interest to continue watching the anime
