I've just installed this exhaust on my 2021 Racing Sixties Sprint. This video helped immensely. The hardest part of the entire install is getting the two 10mm copper nuts started on the head studs. If I had Robot's dainty booger hooks instead of these these giant sausage fingers, I would have had a much easier time. BTW! I don't know what the power output is after the pipe install, but I can now easily cruise at 65 indicated. It's about 5mph better than it was prior to the pipe install. WORTH IT!
Do NOT lose the baffle! The screw vibrated out & I lost mine, had to do a sketchy order from Greece; luckily it worked out. Used high-temp red thread lock on new one 2 b permanent. The original screw has a tack weld; once you remove it, the tack breaks and that safeguard is gone.
Handy tip to get the sound u want is to drill small holes in the baffle to increase volume little by little. It is a slight mutilation to the baffle but only noticeable if you go in close. On my gilera runner st 200 it was too quiet, baffle out waaaay too loud so I drilled 3 1/2 cm diameter holes and it was perfect. Just upped the volume to my a level I was happy with. To repair if it is too loud is patch on the inside with a little sheet metal.
is it true that its better to upgrade first the variator kit before the exhaust for better performance, and just upgrading ur exhaust only wont make any difference
FBI These scooters may not be popular in the US, but they are very popular in Europe and Asia, spending 700 bucks for an exhaust is nothing as we would spend more on aftermarket stuff than the scooter itself, please don’t judge people just because they spend big money on an “puny” scooter.
in my country, 700 dollars isn't anything when it comes to vespas. Mostly, they modified it fully from top to bottom and the total price is mostly 1000-3000 dollars and some even reach 15000 dollars. its crazy how much they've spent their money to modified vespas
Awesome video! Trying to drop the exhaust down pipe from a Piaggio MP3 500 Sport but cannot access the two nuts in the same way as this video, even trying to wiggle in from the side. It just doesn’t allow access like shown here. Does anyone have any experience of this and can tell me if I need to remove something to access these two nuts? Pleeeeeease!
Do you need a piggyback for it? I kept hearing rumors (from the local shop) that aftermarket exhausts would screw up the O2 sensor if you went with the stock ECU

We offer these 13" Yorban wheels (originally for Piaggio MP3) that will fit the front of your GT. You'll have to do some modification if you want it on the rear. You'll also need a lower profile tire like a 130/60/13 for the front. www.scooterwest.com/13-yourban-wheel-with-hub-cap-and-mounting-hardware-each.html You can see these in use on our "Vespa Everywhere" scooter: th-cam.com/video/2zbOlZ9oSY4/w-d-xo.html

Yes, this is a bolt on pipe. The scooter will automatically adapt to the new exhaust when you start it up. Of course there are aftermarket tuning options you can do to get more out of the pipe.

The brand of the muffler is pronounced Akrapowitch! Leading brand among sport exhaust systems - made in Slovenia EU.
Never thought I’d consider an aftermarket exhaust for my LX but that sounds really good.
but is $800....I think too expensive.
@@ikariku worth the money for good quality. Most aftermarket exhausts that are cheap don't last or snap.

It have better sound than my GSX-S1000 :D
love these videos!! please make more vids on exhausts!!
The way he pronounces akrapovič, like bro there's a "č" for a reason it makes a "ch" sound like ch from "CH"ina
Yasuni is perfect song on my BV 350 more it is less expensive
nice to meet you. I have a Vespa Sprint 150tft Euro 5. Will the Euro 4 Akropovic be fitted to this vehicle?
Does it fit on A Vespa Primavera 50??
Does the Akropovic Exhaust, actually 'add' power to a GTS 300?
no
Nice to be like this video great job 👏👏👏🙂🙂👍👍👍👌👌👌
Do you have to change your spark plug if you change your exhaust system
in my experience, changing sparkplug with no engine tuning doesn't do much better than the stock setup.
Can you also get one for a piaggio liberty to put on ?
hi! one question, does the original exhaust pipe is copper? mine needs to be soldered because the welding cracked. thanks
Nice exhaust
is it true that its better to upgrade first the variator kit before the exhaust for better performance, and just upgrading ur exhaust only wont make any difference

I want one for my 2023 Vespa Primavera 150. Do you have these in stock? Is this a full exhaust or slip on?
hi i have 2017 GTS super 125 with ''IGET'' engine, the radiator out by the exhaust, my question is, will this fit
Were did you buy the akrapovic? I want to buy also one for my vespa but i dont know what type of akrapovic it has to be.
Thanks for showing the baffle removal! Unrelated question: why do you prefer the Akrapovic to the Malossi pipe?
Rich Oberdorfer its one of the best on market malossi cant give a water to a akrapovic
Thank u very much from Turkey. I watch your videos. You make it great, by the way do u have any chance to maintaince Yamaha xmax 250cc scooter?
Do you need to remap after changing its muffler?
Is it needed to do P.a.d.s tuning after installing aftermarket exhaust?
hi robot whould it be beter for fuel consuption. thanks from london . keep it up really enjoy you videos

I have an 09 150 LX. I was wondering the same thing
Does it hurt the engine ?
thinking about it... would be cheaper if I lost 4+ pounds of sprung weight..
So...do you have to pull that off to get the back tire off?
just muffler and mounting bracket..leave header on
Did you try them on the dyno to see if the pipe makes any HP gains?
If u wanted to go fast why would you buy a vespa lmao the fuck
