100% is not water .. it means the air is saturated ;)
given in weather reports is the relative humidity and it gives the relation between the vapor pressure of water at a given temperature and the equilibrium for that temperature. meaning the amount of water in the air with 100% at 5 °C ist very different from 100% at 35°C
At "101%" water would condensate in mid air = Rain/Mist
Thanks for the videos !! i learn a lot

I just got the copper knife in the mail today. The warning label on how soft the copper is was a good idea.
Now I just have to wait for it to patina patina patina. 👍

Jeremy, your videos are awesome! Your taste on EDC is so relatable... Your taste in materials, the minimalist inspiration behind your carry, and obviously, I love that rustic, vintage vibe you always put in your videos. You just convinced me to buy a copper scale for my Pilarge because... *P A T I N A* I wish you a great day form Italy!

100 meters water resistent doesn’t mean you can actually go down 100 meters. It just means it is resistent to 10 atm. This can be really confusing, but thirty meters means it’s not at all water resistent. 50 means you can was your hands (but I wouldn’t risk it). 100 meters is okay for swimming. 200 is okay for diving, which usually goes to a depth of around 30 meters.
Great choice on the Oris! It always surprises me when I think about the fact that they are still and independent watch brand.

Only thing with that Seiko 5 is that screw down crown. The reason I love screw down is because it adds a sense of security to your watch. That said it does have a crown guard but idk. The screw down also gives me a sense that I’m making it almost air tight.

Idk if anyone cares, but since you brought up 100% humidity, I thought I'd share some fun facts about that. Pilots look at the temperature / dew-point spread. The closer they become, the more likely you are to see "visible moisture," e.g. fog, mist, rain, snow, etc. Based on the calculation alone, you're actually correct! 100% relative humidity will mean that the free air temperature = dew-point, and you'll likely see fog or mist. Once temperature drops below the dew-point, you'll see rain or snow. This is also why air conditioning causes windows to "sweat" with condensation; it's because the humidity is very high, which means the dew-point spread is already low, and then you are actively lowering the temperature inside the building, causing your temperature to meet or drop below the dew point. Result: visible moisture! Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk!

At the moment my favorite mechanical watch is the Orient Flieger style mechanical automatic. Orient does all their work in house so these watches are accurate as hell for mechanicals. My next one is going to be the Orient Ray II dive watch which hacks and winds. These watches can take punishment and if something bad happens then they are cheap enough so just buy another.

Having the tip of a knife either up or down depends on the angle you have your wrist when you grab it if that makes sense. Tip up is if you tip your hand back like you did. I naturally bend my hand forward when I grab it so tip down is more natural and effective for me. Tip up would cause an extra step for me or I would have to train myself to grab it in a way that is not natural for me.

beautifull vid :) . Just wanted to mention that the deapth rating of a watch doesent show how deep you can dive, only how much pressure the watch is cerified to withstand. If you go 199m down with a 200 m watch, it will likely break because of the different pressures it is subjected to as you move around your arm. You are however 100 % correct in stating that 100m is fine for normal use in swimming pools, but you shouldent dive with it, that could very likely damage it. (i think that the rating system is stupid, but it's more a show and tell sort of thing to impress your mates than a guideline for how deep it can survive)

Awesome EDC. my watch is mechanical pocket watch in the little right side pocket of my jeans with the chain that’s what the pocket is actually for.

Hey Jeremy why don't you create a video about your entire watch collection. Very curious to see.

You should check out the SOG Terminus XR in all black. It's my EDC better knife for $52 and it's fun the fidget with!

“Isn’t 100% humidity like, actually water?” Lmao 😂🤣 I literally just said that to my wife the other day when it was 77° but 89% humidity. It sucks. Lol

So true with mechanical watch group, geeky and addictive.
I recently picked up a seiko sarb 033 currently sporting an army green nato strap.

If you carry tip down when you slide your thumb in pocket as you grab your knife and pull it out of your pocket you will see your thumb is at the thumb stud ready to flick it open.

NICE EDC items J!!! You hit all the pockets but need the inside waisteband w/ the Glock 27 Gen 4 with the bronze chamber for the EDC...?? I hope I didn’t give you another thing to geek about ...

Got my Copper Spyderco from BladeHQ. Awesome knife! It’s a little on the big side but still a great knife. Sold out in about a half hour I think.

That’s why I put a flashlight in my Hitch & Timber slip WITH my pen. I don’t use a backup blade very much, if ever. I find a flashlight to be much more useful.

Ya know, you are right, most flashlights would fit well in the proper slip. Imma have to give that a try. 😉👍🏻

Always love the EDC scuttle but really digging those Dickies. My biggest complaint about the slant pockets is the stacking of pen and knife. That flat portion totally fixes the issue.
