- Make sure to check out my nose job part 2 vlog on my emotional cast removal which I highly recommend you watch as it was definitely something I wish I was more prepared for at the time;
• WHY DID NOBODY WARN ME...
As well as my top recovery tips and essentials to ensure a smooth nose job journey;
• RHINOPLASTY RECOVERY H...
I didn't upload my pre-operative vlog yet but if you would like to see that make sure you comment down below as I did film everything from my consultations, to choosing a doctor and all the tests I had to do to find out if I qualified for a septoplasty. I will also be posting my big reveal next week as that ended up being super emotional and something happened that I felt really needed to be addressed separately as nobody talks about it in their videos.
Please don't forget to like, comment & of course SUBSCRIBE to stay tuned for weekly uploads and more informative surgery videos.
Hope you and your families are staying safe and well during this quarantine! Just remember if you are able to during this period to reflect and take time to work on some goals 💛

girly i’m on day 4 of my recovery and your vlog is by FAR the most realistic one I’ve seen. i don’t know HOW some of these girls on youtube are acting like they are perfectly fine and not swelling like balloons!! I look crazy (and the drugs are making me act really dumb lol)
I found that after my face/ neck lift with FT last year.. I watched so many vlogs and within a week they were wearing make up and looked amazing.. now I know they waited months before posting, making out they healed really quickly xx
Did you get any nausea after the surgery or anything??
@@unforgettablemoments507 is it scary tho? im so scared to get it im scared that ill not like it
I got mine the 5th of this month, no swelling, no bruises, only thing that is swollen is my nose (obviously) but progressively has been deflating a lot day by day! It depends on your skin type and the surgeons experience
It’s my second day recovery and I finally find a realistic video on this topic that calms me down and shows what to expect! Thank uuuu ❤
Thanks for addressing your fear about being put to sleep. That’s what I’m most anxious about.
Did you go through it already? I was also the most scared of that but it’s actually not bad at all
You're welcome! So was I hence I cried so much 🤦🏼♀️😂 but honestly it was so quick and before you know it you're on the journey of recovery and a new nose 💖
I’ve probably watched over 100 rhinoplasty vlogs and this was by far the most informative! Thank you so much. Mines in 3 weeks and You’ve definitely eased some concerns 🥰
I'm so glad!!! I know its a long one but I really wanted to answer all the question that were left unanswered for me 🤗make sure to check out my recovery hacks video so you get all the things ready for your recovery week! and hope you subscribe 💖 good luck

@@shanicemichelle6878 Thank you so much for your support 🥰🥰 ahh thank you so much! I'm actually realllllyyyyyyyyy happy with it right now.. the swelling is still going down and I didnt think it could look any better 🌼 I'll be uploading a daily vlog this Sunday so you can see what it looks like right now xx
hey, ifdm me asking, how much did you pay?
@@custardfactory6668 I paid 6000 in Tucson Arizona
I want to come on here because I came across your videos and I have to say thank you so so much for being so honest. Not everyone wants to be honest or at least show literally everything what goes on regarding the pain level, uncomfortable being after the surgery, what it takes to survive those couple of weeks/months. Like I’m beyond thankful to have seen your several videos because honestly it showed me that I can do this just the matter of pushing myself for example you recorded yourself at the hospital before and after. The fact that you expressed you were anxious and nervous going under (my fear too first timer) you cried as well like it’s all emotions that EVERYONE should feel you know? So I’m literally repeating each one of your vids bc it gave me so much calm and alert. I’m doing my procedure in less than 2 months AHHH. Thanks for being you
Thank you so much for this lovely feedback/comment! thank you for appreciating the fact that I did actually detail everything and was as transparent as possible to help anybody else going through the same journey 💖 I'm so glad I could be there for you and good luck for your surgery - hope you are as happy with the result as I am with mine 🥰 Just to let you know I will be going live on my channel this Sunday at 4pm GMT doing a nose q&a, so if you have any more questions or just want to listen in while I answer other people's questions don't forget to tune in 🤗💖🤩🔔 and ofc hope you subscribe to my channel x

@@its.nathalievictoria Could you please reply to my comment 🤗
Why?
I’m going for septoplasty/rhinoplasty in two days and this helped me. Thank you!
How are you now?
And can you tell me about your experience plzz
I’m going through the healing process now and I’m experiencing everything you said. It’s painful and I can’t breathe. I didn’t sleep 24 hours after my surgery because I was scared I’d choke on my blood or mucus. It’s day 2 now. This so by far the most realistic video. It’s not an easy process
Thanks for including so much detail. I watched the whole thing. I'm nervous for my surgery in a few weeks especially trying to balance remote work while healing. Glad your experience went relatively well!
You're welcomeee 🤗 hope you've subscribed to my channel! As long as you rest loads and do absolutely nothing for the week with your cast on, you should be fine! just don't do anything to strenuous and listen to your body 💖good luck
How did your surgery go? Did you like the results?
I’m one day post-op and I’m so ready for my nose to heal and get all this stuff off my nose to breathe again😩 I’ll never take breathing out of my nose for granted again
literally how I feel every time I have a cold and my nose is blocked haha😩 the recovery process will honestly fly by though! Only 1 year post op and I feel like it was yearsss ago! good luck and don't forget to subscribe 🤗

Omg yes i got so scared when i laid down on the operating table. Looking up at the ceiling seconds before being put to sleep is an experience I’ll never forget.
Can you describe your experience?
I just had my septo/rhinoplasty done on February 20. Oh my gosh the first seven days were horrendous. My doctor ended up calling Xanax and because I’m claustrophobic and had a total panic attack. Now almost a month later am I finally saying to myself, it was worth it.
Hi, when did you start being able to breathe again after the surgery? Im on day 2 and freaking out
How did it go? @@GGGirl55

Hi Nathalie, I reside in Uk and wanted to purchase the physiomer nasal solution cleanser which you at this 32:25 time in the vlog. I am Unable to find it in the stores here, do you know where I can purchase it from ?
And at this time 33:38 in vlog you use little brown bottle for for your nose, what is those product called?
I had mine 2 days ago and the swelling is SO bad today my left eye is swollen completely shut and I can barely see. This sucks 😂 I don’t see anyone else online who got THIS swollen. When I woke up from surgery they wheeled me out to go home ten minutes later and I could barely even form a sentence I was so tired and out of it still. What the hell.
Hope your recovery week went better 😩 sounds horrible! I'm so glad I slept int the hospital overnight.. I do however rememeber my eyes being almost swollen shut in days 2 and 3 and it was so uncomfortable!!!

To note- I didn't get the tubes, but I also didn't spend the night in recovery. I entered for pre-op at 9am, and was home by NOON. Not allowed to chew either. Can't believe they gave you bread and cheese... So bad.😫
I'm on day 2. I'm here to vouch that your recovery is so far SPOT ON... First off- I had an unexpected hematoma. He asked me if I knew about it right after surgery... Obviously I didn't lol. Apparently it gave him some issues which I'll learn more about in a few days when he takes the cast off. But always remember- unexpected things can happen for both you and the surgeon...
My first day/night my face only showed some purple at the inside corners of my eyes and almost no swelling... But the pain ... And not being able to breath through my nose. I could not sleep at all. I kept waking up choking from lack of air through the nose. Today is MUCH better. My face is extremely swollen like yours got. The blood at the corners of my eyes moved and spread out through the soft tissue under my eyes and over my eyelids. All normal. I took the packing out, which wasn't as extreme as I thought it would be. He used two short packing strips, but just those removed alleviated all my breathing issues. That alone has been a HUGE plus! So yeah... I'm taking my steroid meds, antibiotics, and using ice only around the nose (not on it). Fingers crossed tomorrow will even be better.
Love your channel! the nose job blogs where so helpful 💖

Why were your legs hurting? I haven’t seen anyone else in rhino. videos wearing stockings can you explain? Thanks!
Thanks so much for sharing!
The stockings are tight to prevent blood clots, as you’ve been laying/sitting for quite some time, but they do make your feet and legs hot as you described in the video. Will you discuss your anesthesia experience at all in the second video, or can you describe what that was like?
Candy Wilson yeah I know, you should ideally fly with them as well on long haul flights to improve blood circulation! Well I mentioned it when I woke up because it’s something I was actually really scared about but went really smoothly. What more would you like to know about it ?
Im on day 3 and had septorhinoplasty too and I'm so confused why I've got tape over my nostrils stopping me breathing through them/collecting gunk and blood. Anyone else had this?? My gauze is off so thats not it- I think my surgeon has taped my nostrils shut.
Oh no! That's scary1 I don't know what to say because every surgeon does something different but as you can see I definitely didnt have that. But then again I was also never told to tape my nose after cast removal either. Please make sure to clarify with your surgeon the reason why he did that and maybe ask him to change it if it causes you discomfort! Also collecting blood and gunk is the opposite from what you need in the healing process 🥴hope you get it sorted ! Don't forget to subscribe to my channel and good luck with your recovery 💖
You did so well post op. I’m currently on day 3. I couldn’t wake up for a couple of hours post op and they send me home as soon as I woke up. I threw up a lot that day. It was hard. Now I’m feeling better, but still can’t be up and walking or I start to get tired and head becomes heavy
Aw no I'm so sorry to hear! Must have been horrible to be told to go home straight away.. I truly believe that an essential part of my smooth recovery was staying in the hospital overnight and having my drip changed etc My sister warned me about the throwing up and so did the nurses so it's just the way your body reacted to the anaesthetic.. make sure you just take it easy and rest loads 💖Yeah on my day 4 when I was walking around I realised it wasn't actually the right thing to do because although you feel you can, I ended up feeling dizzy. Hope the rest of your recovery goes well and that you're happy with your result 🤗 would love if you subscribed to my channel x
Nathalie Victoria thank you for the reply. Yes I wish I would have asked to be kept overnight at least. Thank you for sharing your story
Violetta Terzi just take it easy now and remember to not over exert yourself 💕

Anyone wondering how it is after rhino surgery. I’m on day 3 today. Not being able to breath out your nose it’s very triggering if u struggle with sexual trauma past. No one talks about this. But it makes me feel chlosterphobic. This has been the hardest part for me. I cannot wait to get the cast off. Haven’t been able to sleep at all. I feel restless.
I have claustrophobia and hate not being able to breath out of my nose when I’m sick so I constantly am clearing out my nostrils which is a big no no after surgery so I’m wondering how you’re handling the blocked nose? I’m so scaredb ugh that’s the one thing that worries me most

So I just had my surgery and I wonder if it's normal all the pressure and head pounding I'm feeling on day 3 post OP. Like it's so uncomfortable to even lay my head on my pillow
Also I still cant breath through my nose.
Hey! Don't worry at all it's normal because the painkillers they would have given you and the anaesthesia etc is all leaving your system so your starting to feel it! I personally took 1 Ibuprofen 800mg tablet every evening when I went to sleep until about day 5 when I wasn't feeling much pounding anymore, just to help me sleep. Obviously check with your doctor if it gets worse but I'd say a painkiller is advised as that's what they told me. Hope that helps and that your recovery goes well💖💖💖 would love if you subscribed to my channel xx
it's totally normal that you can't breathe through your nose.. I'm actually the only person I've known (from all the people I've watched on youtube haha) that has had tubes with holes in them.. you probably just have regular tampon type things 💖
P.S. check out my cast off vlog to prepare yourself for that!! I really wish someone had warned me about that swelling cause I literally cried having not expected it (sad crying not happy tears)
Hi, Where did you get the nose job? Doctor?
It's nice you were able to stay in the hospital
Wait why did you stay overnight in the hospital? Everyone else I have seen went home after surgery
Good question!! It was just what my surgeon does in case of precaution. So I had them monitoring my blood pressure, gave me antibiotics through a drip etc which I’m actually really grateful for because I didn’t feel much pain at all and it was super helpful having a bed that I could stay sitting up in for the first night while I got used to it 🤗
Yes! In the US you go home the day of like an hour or so after

Omg. I love that you were able to breathe!
Hello there, Great video! But I am curious, hoe long is a waiting list for Rhinoplasty. How long did you have to wait before you could finaly get the surgery?
thank you! glad you liked it 🤗 it depends on your surgeon and your own schedule because he had an availability that was really close (maybe only 1 month wait) but it was right in the middle of my uni week and I couldn't take that much time off for recovery etc but I ended up having to wait 5 months (and then of course 3 more because of Covid) hope that helps and that you subscribe to my channel for weekly uploads 💖
well I just booked mine for july! so it is a bit of a wait, I wish I had done it sooner :(
How did it go? :)
The first week is really tough. Once you get past the first week things will start looking up. I just had septorhinoplastic surgery. Im on week two and i feel a good amount of burning at the bottom of my septum and a lot of blockage.
I didn't have that burning sensation but i get you about the blockage! you just have to keep making sure you're cleaning it properly :) hope you're happy with your result and that you subscribe to my channel for weekly videos xx
Nathalie Victoria yes, i will subscribe! I want you to be rich galore! Ha My sense of smell if very diminished 2 weeks after
That’s my issue. I want to get rhinoplasty but the not breathing out of my nose freaks me out. Every time I have a cold the need to clear out my nose is so strong that I wake up and have to clear it otherwise I can’t sleep. So it’s really something mental that is preventing me from going thru it
You’re awesome. I’m having mine on June 10. Keep me in your prayers.
Any reasons you were not turning your toothbrush on? I bought an electric toothbrush thinking it would be easier to use than regular toothbrushes.
Good luck tomorrow!! I’m getting one June 14!!!
@@lowrised Thanks a lot. Already woke up and doing perfectly well. I wish yours goes as smoothly as mine went.
May I ask if you had Traditional Rhinoplasty or Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty? Your recovery seems lovely and quick :) with minimal swelling and bruising.
I'm sorry I have no clue but I'm pretty sure it was just a traditional one! My surgeon was surprised himself at how minimal my swelling/bruising was (even though I thought it was awful compared to what I had seen in other YT videos hahaha) it really depends on the person and what you do during your recovery week (I have some tips of food and drinks etc in my recovery hacks video)! make sure to subscribe for more too 💖💖
@@its.nathalievictoria Thanks, I’ve seen that video, fantastic tips! I think you also just have súperhero healing powers haha 🌷
Thanks for sharing! It is my day 6 after an open rhinoplasty. It is quite shocking more mentally than physically, especially the breathing part. I still look like a raccoon, but more approachable:)
I'm scheduling my rhinoplasty this year! Looking back, would you do it again? What advice would you give now, knowing what you know? x
Exciting!!! Exactly 1 year ago yesterday I had my first consultation!! I would 1000000% do it again! The recovery week flew by and although the swelling took long I'm sooooo pleased with my nose now - it was very worth it! My confidence improved both directly and indirectly so would recommend to anybody who has nose issues or is self-conscious and has the means to undergo this surgery! Only advice i'd give which I mention in all my videos is patience!!!! And to make sure you plan it in a time where you have at least 2 weeks off (if not more because I was happy I had no plans at all and nowhere to go so didn't have to publicly show my swelling)! Hope that helps and good luck 🤗 make sure to watch my recovery hacks video to prepare yourself

Remember you are NOT sick, and lying round all day is really bad for you. A mistake too many make ..!!
I personally felt super dizzy and light headed the first 3 days when I walked around too much but I suppose depends on the person and their healing! Ofc walk around but also listen to your body 🤗 thanks for watching and hope you subscribe for weekly vlogs ✨🤍
who was your doctor and in which country did you get this operation done? thank u sm for this video, it's super helpful to see ppl's real experiences 💞
glad you found it helpful! I uploaded one for my cast reveal too which I recommend because I had a bad experience that I wasn't expecting as nobody else had documented it🤗 I did mine in Antwerp in Belgium xx
thank you for sharing! i’m on the waitlist for this surgery which has a longer delay due to covid. also, i was wondering the name of the show/ movie you showed during one of your updates, thank you!
Mine was also pushed back 3 months 😩 Oh haha it was called 'The Bold Type'.. I watched it on amazon prime and really enjoyed it 🤗 good luck with your surgery! and hope you subscribe to my channel xx
Thank you for all the videos. I will have mine next Wed in Turkey and I am scared as f... for the anesthesia. Never had one. Can I ask again what were those socks? Thanks!
You're welcome, I'm really glad that they helped you! The anaesthesia was the thing i was most scared about too and as I said in the video I even cried in the operating room haha but honestly it is sooo quick that before you know it you're waking up like wtf is it done already? I have had my op? 😂 The socks? they're given when you have an operation because it helps blood circulation which is important! Good luck with your op 💖💖💖 and make sure to sub to my channel for weekly uploads
Loved this journey of yours❤️. Very well vlogged...Can you also please explain about the finances? Were you able to get any insurance cover? Atleast for the septoplasty part. And why did you not opt for ultrasonic rhinoplasty? Which insurance cover did you have? I stay in Brussels and I just wish I had my family with me like yours. I am single here and I am not sure how will I handle it all without my family. It will give you so much confidence. Hope I get this done in near future 😊
@Nathalie Victoria Could you please reply to this comment 👍
@@vikramdillikar2254 I always reply haha sorry for the delay I've just started uni again so been busy
Thank you so much, glad you liked it.. I also have 2 other nose videos make sure to watch them to help you prepare 🤗 I got insurance cover for the septoplasty and then paid extra for the rhinoplasty and some other little things that weren't covered but the bulk of it e.g. the anaesthesist and the room etc were covered. If I'm being honest I didn't even know about ultrasonic so I didn't consider it when making the choice. I chose to do mine in Antwerp at home because it is better to have someone there just in case but I know people that have done it in foreign countries and stayed in hotels so you will be ok 🤗 Good luck and I hope you subscribe to my channel 💖
@@its.nathalievictoria Thank you so much for your reply. I am already your fan and subscribed it the first time I saw you 😉 May be when I undergo ultrasonic-septorhinoplasty, I will try to make similar video series. More power to you 💪
Vikram Dillikar aw thank you so much!! And yes you should
Sorry if you mentioned this in the video, but where did you get your surgery & who was your surgeon please? Would love to know x
Sophie Conner I got my surgery at hone in Antwerp, Belgium! I definitely recommend doing somewhere closer to home though as you do need someone with you and need to rest ❤️❤️
“I look like a sad chipmunk” lol 😂 I could not stop laughing 😆
hahaha I did though 😩😩😩 hope you subscribe to my channel 💖
How do you book consultations and what are the payment types
it differs from surgeon to surgeon so you'll have to try call the clinic/hospital where your surgeon works to book :)
Did you use the arnica pre-op or only post-op? Loving your vlog, I've subscribed. :)
Thanks for subscribing!! Make sure to check my cast reveal and my recover hacks vid too 😌 only used arnica post op but you can start taking the tablets pre op!!
Did the arnica help? I’m going in for mine in 2 weeks
Thank you for the great video! Where did you get the Surgery? And are you Dutch? Great video!
You're welcome, glad you liked it !! I got my surgery done in Antwerp, Belgium 🤗 and no but I am partly Belgian haha make sure to subscribe to my channel for weekly uploads 💛
Honestly the part I’m most nervous about is having stitches removed tomorrow 😳
Also with the ointment I’ve not known how far to go either and I’ve called like 3 times and make me sound nuts 🙄 just want to be sure I’m cleaning enough but not too much..
Thank you so kucnfor documenting!! I’m worried about going in and looking like I haven’t taken enough care or something!
Also sounds like your hair didn’t mind sitting in natural oils for a bit! And the braids really helped you! I’ve had a few surgeries and learned the hard way that my hair matts BAD and INSTANTLY.
did it hurt when you got ur stitches removed? i hope i get the stitches that melt and dont need to be taken out because i think ill actually faint.
How is it really elective though if it improves your breathing?
The rhinoplasty part was elective 🤷🏼♀️hope my vids helped and don’t forget to subscribe
Closest video I’ve seen to my own recovery. Every other vid I watch the person is fine but I had the worst week of my life after my surgery. I had a fever for 6 days
Oh no I'm so sorry to hear and hope your fever has gone down! remember this is a surgery, like any other, you should rest and listen to your body! But i'm glad I could help and offer you some hope 🤗Don't forget to subscribe to my channel and good luck with your recovery 💖
LOL @ when he was feeding you the little bites. Thank you for this, you're hilarious.
Kawaii Kaiju I sadly couldn’t open my mouth more though 😭😭so the struggle of eating was realllll 🙄and thank you glad you enjoyed it haha subscribe to stay tuned for weekly uploads 💕
@@its.nathalievictoria Oh I bet! I have my surgery this Thursday. Your video series made me feel better, thank you! Subscribed!
@@laurenp9927 ohh good luck!! Hope your recovery goes well.. I'm really glad my videos have helped you 🤗don't the ice packs!!!!
@@its.nathalievictoria Hey did you experience any loss of taste? If so, how long until it returned?
@@laurenp9927 minor loss of taste.. i could taste most foods but not as well as normally and others I couldnt taste at all, personally I didn't enjoy anything with ginger or garlic as it was a very unpleasantly strong taste at the time. (only lasted while the cast was on)
Please who was your doc?
