Solid list, really enjoying Max Mustard atm. I'd like to recommend 'Mervils VR'. Granted it's old and feels a bit dated but it's a charming platformer/adventure game I recently replayed and had lots of fun with again.
Thank you so much for covering VR platformers 😎 Actually, there are so many shooters (too much IMHO), but jump'n run's are so amazing in VR. I would have a game to add, the famous ASTROBOT for PSVR. It's a pity SONY didn't adapt it for PSVR2. Greatings from an Austrian old school gamer 😊
I remember seeing moss and thinking why in the world would I want to play a platform game in vr about a cute little mouse. Then I played it and it was amazing and I loved it
Max Mustard and STILT , the best of the best ones on quest 3, max is a 3d one very similar to super mario galaxy , Stilt is a first person experience , you really play in first person pov , so the first time we see whith our eyes what the super mario have seen for the past 40 years , amazing experience
I'm 46 and I too grew up with Super Mario Bros and the like. Finding a good 3D Platformer in VR is rather difficult so many thanks for this. No More Rainbows looks like a good laugh. Ven VR I actually already have for PSVR2 and while I do enjoy it I find the camera perspective rather odd.
Agree with most of your top 5 in that order Mac, but I’d personally still put moss in first place of those 5. Max mustard is a very good game, and surprise surprise, I don’t get lost in it 😂
Mac... I'm still working on my game in this genre. Would love for you to play it on your channel :D Will come to you later as we discussed this on one of your LIVEs :D
Max Mustard over Moss hurt my soul a little. I feel the word design in Moss is better and my main issue with Max Mustard is you have no connection to Max at all, they don't respond to you or have any interaction with you... VR platformers have been doing that since Quill. AstroBot did it, Lucky Tale remake did it, Ven does it, it connects you to the characters much more, connection with Max is just lifeless

Can't find Mervils VR on the quest store unfortunately
Never heard of it??
@@cbrmax4192 sorry, my bad. It's only on PCVR, not standalone VR
@@MacInVR it's from 2016 and only on PCVR (Steam & Oculus Store), sadly not on standalone VR
@@germanrifter2117 thanks anyway 👍
Stilts is pretty great also. But looking forward to max mustard I'll get it when it comes to psvr2:).😊
Enjoy your work brother. I’m new to Quest 3 and VR but can tell you really make an effort with your videos and have good insight
Thanks man, means a lot (plus I've been around awhile!) 🤔😂
Good list, I need to pick up Macs Mustard soon to try out myself, loved watching you guys explore that!
Macs Mustard? Maybe he needs go to the STD clinic?
😂😂😂

A remake or a sequel would be nice, I never owned a PSVR so missed out on this one 😊

Quill is adorable 😍
Great video I totally agree with your selection.
Thank you 😊
Have you ever tried STILT ? Omg the only one that really transform you in super mario , you really play in VR , amazing innovation
I have not heard of that, I will check it out 😉

if youre looking for more vr platformers , dont forget that vrchat has probably hundreds of those
Definitely interested in Max Mustard. Take it you never owned a PSVR, pretty sure I'd rate Astro Bot as number 1 on this list, fantastic game!
I have never played Astro Bot because I never had a PSVR. It needs a remake for PSVR2 😉
It sure does, and a sequel! @@MacInVR

If you enjoyed that video, you Witchblood. It's basically Metroid crossed with Castlevania in VR. Really good fun 😁

Quill is for sissies!
I wavered back and forth but MM really hit that nostalgia gland for me 😀
Thanks Mac.
Cheers Ron 🍻
I got ven vr will do until Astro comes out on PS5
I agree platform games work brilliantly in vr shame there isn't many... little nightmares vr would be great
To be honest if a company brought a collection if ps1-2/n64 era platformers as adapted for vr think it would go down a treat!

Okay 👍
two games are basically Astrobot clones 😞😞 cannot play them without feeling a dejavu 😑😑
Sorry to say, it doesn't look like you're getting the new Astrobot in VR on PSVR2 (which sucks arse) 😕

It hurt me too but as an old school gamer, Max Mustard really smacked me in the nostalgia gland 😀
