Ah I see now, UBC-O uses different course names and may cover slightly different content compared to UBC-V. As I'm at UBC-V, this video is specific to just that
Hello, I know some people take APSC 160 in term 1 and others take it in term 2. I have heard APSC 160 is better if taken before APSC 101 rather than at the same time. Is this true? Another question: If someone takes APSC 101 from January-April and takes APSC 160 in the summer will it make APSC 101 more difficult?
The reason why some people recommend taking APSC 160 before going into APSC 101 is because the Module 5 project you'll be doing in APSC 101 (the autonomous claw) does require knowledge on how to code in C in order to use the Arduino that you'll be given. That being said, there is a chance that you'll have group members who will have already taken APSC 160 before going into APSC 101, so they can be responsible for that part of the project. It doesn't necessarily make it more difficult if you have people in your group who have already taken APSC 160. But if, by chance, NO ONE in your group has taken APSC 160 before going into APSC 101, you may need to spend a bit more time outside of class learning how to program your Arduino for the claw project.
Entering APSC 100 1st year, I'm doomed, but I'll try my best to pay attention ;(
Best of luck in first-year! I know you'll do great!
Hi, my courses don't have APSC100 or 101 even though I'm studying Engineering 😅
Ummmmm are you studying at a different school? Curriculums can be different across different universities
I'm going to study at UBCO, all my courses are APSC, so when you talk anout Math 100 or Chem, I get confused as I dont have those

I'm in apsc 100 right now and it makes me sad
Definitely relatable
