I played with this ship, and it is an amazing C3 freighter The C3 freighter, designed and manufactured by MARCOM (US Maritime Comission), was a large cargo ship which carried Willys Jeeps, Tanks, aircraft parts, trucks, troops, oil, and much more. The ship was preceded by the C2, a smaller version, and succeeded by the C4, a newer, faster and larger version. The C3 was built from 1940-1947, and played a major role in the war effort in WW2, and set the line for modern day reliable transatlantic and Pacific shipping. A total of 465 were built, weighing in at 7800 gross tons, 12 deadweight tons, and had a length of 492 feet. Its main power was the turbine producing 8500 hp. Modern day Cargo ships now use turbocharged diesels the size of warehouses, which produce up to 40,000 hp, and can travel up to 30 mph. The WW2, C3, was the tone setter for modern day shipping, and is not remembered that well by many. Hopefully this ship in Stormworks will start a change for that.
Ya know what's weird, I have played many horror games and seen many horror movies/videos, and they honestly don't usually creep me out all too much. But this, this for some CRAZY reason, actually kind of sent shivers down my spine, and I really don't get how that works.
