Hello. I have one of these printers and I use the 6.2 cpm paper from the tmt press but the dark objects that I customize (black mugs) are getting a shadow. Could you guys who have been working in the field for a long time help me?
The "shadow" you see is excess emulsion from the CPM 6.2 paper. You can remove this excess emulsion with Acetone. Be careful not to get acetone on the image, as it will remove the image. If you take acetone to the entire design, it will remove it from the mug. So, if you do not get the clean transfer, you can remove the image with acetone to "clean" the mug and try again with another transfer.
@@condesystems Is there any paper that doesn't leave this mark? Because it delays my production too much because I have to clean the products with acetone and running the risk of damaging the art.
