Fun fact. The whole part where Michael is looking up Geena's dress with the stick, Michaels reaction was real, he was not acting. That line "oh yeah" was not scripted at all. He was supposed to just smile , not say anything. But Michael said he really thought that Geena had great legs, and said that the line "oh yeah" just came out of him. Also in the script his character was not meant to use a stick to lift her dress, but was meant to make her dress blow up to have a look. Using a stick was Michaels idea. A line that was in the script at the graveyard that he was meant to say to Adam was, "Has she got good legs? God I love a young leg". Air then blows up Barbara's dress, exposing her legs. Beetlejuice leers. HAHA That's what it said in the script. They were going to use something to blow Geena's dress up, but they were short on time to get it ready. so to save time, Tim told Michael that he should just pick up Geena's dress himself. Michael suggested that he lift her dress with a stick as he thought it would be funny. which is what he done in the scene at 24:58. And like i said when he lifted her dress up, the line "oh yeah" was Michaels real reaction, not scripted. LOL
Tim Burton was slated to do Addams Family, but it wound up getting directed by cinematographer Barry Sonnenfeld. Tim Burton did however create the current Wednesday series starring Jenny Ortega, who also plays Lydia's daughter in the Beetlejuice sequel.
"Are you a ghost, too?" "I'm a ghost with the most, babe." Fun Fact: Michael Keaton, playing the title character, only appears in 14.5 minutes of the film. Music Enthusiast Fact: Tim Burton feared the Day-O (1956) by Harry Belafonte sequence wouldn't go over well, since in his opinion it wasn't very funny. He turned out to be wrong, audiences loved it and think of it as one of the film's most iconic scenes. Parapsychology Foreshadowing Fact: At the dinner party, Otho (Glenn Shadix) states that people who commit suicide end up as "civil servants" in the afterlife. This is actually expanded on in the film. The civil servant ghosts that Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (Geena Davis) meet are people who appear to have ended their own lives. The receptionist (Patrice Martinez) says she committed suicide, there is a man who hanged himself, and the crushed messenger (Carmen Filpi) is implied to have done it to himself. Juno (Sylvia Sidney) looks normal, but there are scars on her neck that indicate she cut her own throat. Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) is said to have been a civil servant and Juno's assistant; it was going to be explained in the film that he hanged himself (incompetently and very painfully), due to heartbreak. While this was cut out of the film for running time purposes, it is hinted when Beetlejuice is surprised at Lydia (Winona Ryder) wishing to die.
I'm writing that my name is Josh and i've been reading online that Beetlejuice Beeteljuice will have an official 4K HD digital release on Tuesday October 8, 2024. the digital release will also include special features including a second version of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice with an audio commentary by Tim Burton. this means that everybody at home can do first watching videos for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice beginning on Tuesday October 8, 2024. I can confirm that there won't be deleted and extended scenes that will be included on the 4K Bluray and DVD release on Tuesday November 19, 2024. that might be the exact same day that Beetlejuice Beetlejuice becomes available to stream on MAX.
Grew up with movie, and Peewee's Big Adventure, Burton became my favorite director ❤️ Sadly Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was a huge miss for me I almost walked out, but I payed for it lol, just so disappointed. I have many complaints about it I definitely wont spoil it, but everyone's tastes are different so if you like it you like it! 😏 Edward Scissorhands and Big Fish are my favorite of his for sure
