One of my favourite things about your content is the vast range of companies and price points you cover, i've been made aware of so many smaller makers which I love. It feels like there is content for everyone here, regardless of where they live (international shipping is sometimes prohibitative) or the budget they have. I think some of this simply comes from how you speak about the pens, the importance of the pen being personally meaningful, rather than just the newest or most expensive model. While I've left wishing I had more to spend on pens, I have never left feeling pressured to make a purchase. I know this is pretty rambling, and I'm a little late with this comment, but I wanted to say thank you for all the joy your content has brought me

David, thanks for all the effort and commitment to all of us viewers. You have really given so much and have enlightened this crazy hobby of ours so much. Your effort is much appreciated and has shortened many dark evenings on the West Coast of Ireland. That said you also have a detrimental effect on my savings at times. It's a lovely hobby we share. My two favorite pen purchases this year were both made my Michal at Tamenuri studio. One was a Leonardo momento zero grande Pen venture exclusive he did in aka tamenuri. And the other is an urushi with maki-e kitty cats and paw prints 🥰. His work is amazing in every way.

I rarely pick up a pen that complete blows me away but I completely agree with the Narwhal Natilus being on this list. I loved the way that it looked so I picked up a Bronze Corydorus and I haven't been able to put it down since I got it in my possession. It's a rare thing when I pick up a pen that just blows me away and this year I was lucky to find two of them, the Nautilus and the other being the Leonardo Momento Zero Grande Primary Manipulation 4. For a 1/5 the price of the MZG, this Nautilus is an absolute steal. Everyone should have one. Now I just need to justify your new Momento Zero that just came out yesterday........... That is a good looking pen.
Magnificent collection, Dave, thanks for sharing them with us. I would jump to own any or all of them ... except one. I have enough trouble with self-correcting spell checkers that I don't think I'd like the self-correcting notepad at all -- I did, however, LOVE the joke! :) You are both informative and entertaining - a GREAT combination!
