With all the new 580ALR colors since the Prussian Blue intro, it's interesting that it remains the most favorited one.
I have to agree that is my preferred TWSBI to write with, even more so than the 700R Iris.

Pilot Custom 823 has been on the top of my wishlist for years!
On the top of my wishlist is the Pineider Psycho fountain pen, in palladium, with the soft, extra fine nib. Pineider makes some stunning pens and I fell in love with this one at first sight.
The Lamy 2000 is definitely at the top of my wish list. Although those crab pen holders are so cute, and would definitely be a second on that list.
Great list guys. The pilot e95s has been a long time dream of mine and would be my first gold nib pen! With its gold cap and red body it is such an elegant vintage-esque pen. The inlaid nib is beautiful and reminiscent of the serene beauty of the sun. I would be absolutely delighted to have this pen. Thank you for making this great video
Don't waste your money. You'll never be able to tell the difference between a modern steel nib and a modern gold nib. Save your money.

Just got into fountain pens and your videos have been a great help for this newbie.
Goldspot and Tom are my goto for all things fine-writing items. Love the incredible content and its production and excitedly anticipate each new installment. Pilot pens are grail pens at any price point. And the 823 is gorgeous and have amazing utility with such understated elegance. And of course, Pilot nibs are some of the top best in the biz....

Great video! Lamy 2000 and Parker Duofold are at the too of my list. I splurged on the Emerald de Chivor ink recently and have been endlessly doodling with it since.
As usual I find the Goldspot videos interesting and informative. My #1 wishlist item this year is the Narwhal Nautilus fountain pen in Bronze Corydoras, with a fine nib. The elegant look of this pen is really appealing to me. I have one Narwhal Key West pen and find it a well behaved and fun pen to write with. I've wanted to add a pricier pen to my collection for a while now, and this is the one I'm aiming for.
Goldspot thank you for sending an actual catalog in the mail. My brother saw it and ordered a Narwal pen for his boss for Christmas (I hope she likes it.)
I bought a limited edition for Peter Draws this year and I think she should be.

Okay, if I'm going to wish, I'm going big... My wishlist is topped with the Leonardo Momento Zero Grande Mother-of-Pearl fountain pen with gold trim, and a medium nib (or whatever nib you have in stock). Yeah, Tom, like you're going to give one of those away. But, it is Christmas... :)

The retro pens keep catching my eye and so far I think the Retro 51 Tornado Fountain Pen would be highest on my list at the moment. With a clip and the simplistic design it would make a good everyday carry. All the colors for it look so cool too! And a stub nib of course because I want to try writing with one.
Christmas has me in the mood for a green pen, so a Pilot Custom 74 in Forest Green-medium nib-is at the top of my current wishlist. It would look great with my Emerald of Chivor ink. 🥰

Excellent list of most wish listed items. For sure a Pilot Custom 823 is at the very top of my wish list - the smoke color with a medium nib would be my choice, although both the fine and broad are also enticing. Happy holidays to all!

Great work as always with very informative details. For a wish I will say I have admired the Lamy 2000 for years, but have never pulled the trigger. Possibly a medium nib, but any size would be great. Happy Holidays to the Goldspot team.

I would love love love a sailor 1911s loch ness. The ion plated trim is amazing and would love having a sailor as my first gold nib.
Been eyeing the Pilot Vanishing Point for a long time now but haven't yet taken the dive into any gold nibs. I know I'll get one some day and I'm sure I'll absolutely love it, I've just been intimidated to spend that much on a pen! Really enjoyed this video by the way, what an excellent idea!

Great video. I don't have a grail pen, which is something of a relief. I have seven really nice FP's and a selection of inks. I do plan to try out that Emerald of Chivor ink though.
What a great idea this was Tom! How fun to see the Top 10 Most Wishlisted products. That's why Goldspot Pens are my go to Guys for ALL things writing! They are the BESTEST! My hands are unfortunately shaking more than I like to admit these days, making fountain pen 🖋️ usage a bit more difficult than it used to be. My Top of My Wishlist pen is the: Otto Hutt Design 02 Rollerball Pen in Thread Guilloche. I believe it would not only be an amazing writing instrument, but also have the best balance and weight to aid in assisting my hands from shaking so much. (It's a side affect of an auto immune disease.)

I really REALLY want the Sailor PGS in Spring Rain. I have been lusting after that whole collection all year. The color of Spring Rain is just *chefs kiss* PERFECTION.

Loved the list! The Kaweco Al Sport in Vibrant Violet was top on my list this year. The Liiliput in Fireblue has been on the list for years, lol. Also, can never have to many of those cute little crabs. That was how I found Goldspot, following where to get one! Haven't left since.

Prussian Blue, and the Navy Blue (my favorite). They are always inked up because they are such excellent pens.

As a fan of German pens, I bought the 2K early in my journey, and can agree with everything Tom said. The one pen I have long desired is the Pelikan Souverän 605 Stresemann Anthracite with a M nib. Such an elegant and sophisticated pen 🥰.
I started with a Lamy Safari, and the TWSBI Diamond 580ALR Prussian Blue seems like the perfect next step for me!
The Lamy 2000, the understated workhorse which would be awesome sitting on my desk as a daily use pen, I lost my Lamy Aion and nothing in my pens comes close to replacing it. It truly would be a gift from Santa

I always love to hear what others are wishing for, it gives me great ideas since I am new to the hobby. On my wish list, I have been wishing to complete my Laban 325 collection. These pens are absolutely gorgeous and I love how smooth they write. This pen is absolutely underrated. I have the Aqua and the Red. I may pull the trigger for Ocean Blue to go with my icy ink theme in January. Goldspot is one of the very few companies that I find sell this brand.
I bought my wife three of the crab pen holders for her Advent calendar and they’re all lined up on her desk holding several of her favorite pens including the Lamy 2000. They really are cute and hold the pens securely.

I didn't even notice the wish list function! My dream pen would be the Namiki Emperor in Vermillion with a broad nib. A friend of mine purchased one in black and let me write with it and it was sublime. I was a very good boy this year, but I couldn't quite convince St. Nick- truthfully I think he thinks I am crazy... Be that as it may, that Pilot 823 in Amber from your list is really tempting in a broad nib-- so many beautiful pens!
Pilot Custom 823 in Brown (the Browntain pen as my SO calls it) is hands down the top of my wishlist right now. My first real fountain pen was the pilot E95S and I loved it. Then I got the vanishing point and loved that, too. I'm definitely looking to increase the size of my pilot collection. Thanks for this video!

I’ve been eyeing the Pilot Custom 823! I’ve heard such great things about it-people say it’s smooth, it’s soft, it’s wet-and I’d love to be able to get one! I’m seriously impressed by the big Japanese companies, their pens look so beautiful, and I’d love for the Pilot Custom 823 to be my first.

I have one in the Blue Smoke Color... simply an outstanding pen. It writes so smoothly it will surprise you, very easy to fill mechanism, full fills are easy if you fill once compress out the remaining air and fill again, and it holds a ton of ink, and you can fly with it without worrying about pressure changes. I have mine inked with Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-Peki. Awesome combination! You won't go wrong with one...BUY IT!

Quite the amazing list, and I can corroborate your selection of two items on the list: I owned a Lamy 2000 for about a decade, and loved it. The only pen that eventually pushed it aside was…Pilot's Custom 823, which I've had for a decade and counting, adding a second one a few years back, and both get lots of use.
One of my wishlist items is the Laban Zeus ink - pretty dark purple!
Wow this was very awesome and informative! I am new to fountain pens (less than 6 months) and this page has been very helpful. I would say, since I am still so new the only think I can think that is at the top of my wishlist is that diamond prussian blue from twsbi! I am still on entry level lamy safaris as my edc and would like to branch out to some next level pens!

I recently discovered Schon DSGN's Pocket Six Fountain Pen. I can't always bring my pens everywhere with me but at that size I'm sure I could! I've been resisting ordering the Brass one with a Extra Fine nib. There are more expensive pens I'd love to own, but this one is definitely at the top of my list.

Great video with great ideas for pen lovers. I liked your clear and straightforward review of pens and products. Though not a fountain pen I have had my eye on a Monteverde Invincia Rollerball Pen in Nebula simply because my work uses garbage paper and all my fountain pens in my collection and the different types of inks that I have turned out to all to bleed through. Perhaps sometime or maybe you already have explored pens that work on poor quality copying paper. Best wishes to you and the entire crew. Chris
I would love to own the Lamy or Pilot pen. It’s hard to spend that kind of money without trying it, but any pen would be great to have. I love the color of the J. Hebron Emerald of Chivor ink, wow!
