IHRA Drag Racing 2 had so much customization, with the right parts you could build a 10,000HP car that you'd never get down the track because the physics engine couldn't handle that much power in a lifted Chevy S10 (yes you could build straight up monster trucks if you wanted to, massive tires and all, young me loved that even if I couldn't get it down the track), it would just send you flipping out of control, also in NHRA Championship Drag Racing, if you move the weight balance of the Top Fuel all the way to the back, you almost do a complete backflip, I found both of these out as a kid and had some fun messing about with them
Played the new NHRA game at the nationals in indy I would rather use a hand held practice tree I was so hyped for the game until I saw the trailer but thought it might just be bad advertising then I played and realized the best part of the game is the box art
The thing I don't like about the speed for all is that they have it where they can hit the throttle while staging which is stupid because I've never seen the top fuel are the funny cars do that after all these years I've been going to nhra drag racing lol
The devs really dropped the ball on this game. They could of made this one of the best drag racing titles ever made and yet they failed. So many glitches it ain’t funny. And yet they want you to spend full price for this. Blows my mind, almost feels like EA had something to do with this game 😂
Seriously whoever helped make this game knew nothing about drag racing. The general public will buy it because they don't know but I've tried so hard to play the new NHRA game and it glitches so bad especially when I'm trying to race my buddies in 2 player. It doesn't give you full control of the car when backing up, barely press the gas and it shoots you out of the burnout box. Car manufacturers are absent which is probably the corniest thing that you could possibly do especially with the old games having real car brands and not some Frankenstein mashup of these GTA 5 looking cars. And that's the other thing is the budget on this game couldn't have been more than 100-200k because IMO countdown to the championship graphics and psychics were just as good, you had more tracks and drivers to choose from, tuning was more intense and you actually had to tune at different tracks. They literally released the same game 15 years later, made it worse and expect people to pay 50$ for it. It's me I'm people. 😂😭
Back in the day when I first started it was with NHRA Drag Racing 2 PC . Then the last PC NHRA game I played NHRA quarter mile drag racing . And back in those days you could go into the file open up your paint program and start customizing your dragsters funny cars Pro Stock and pro trucks . I still have over hundreds of custom paints that people uploaded on website that you can download to your PC drag racing game The good old days .
The new one hand holds and the sound cuts in and out. So I wonder why it's rating on Steam is not good. Yet another game not polished before release. 🤦😂
So that explains why there are so many negative reviews on Steam. Yes, there are frequently a lot of stupid comments posted there, so I don't even bother to read them. The question is whether or not I should purchase the game.
@@Moofy23 I think it's worth reading the steam reviews, a lot of them seem very well structured and give a decent overview of the failings of the game. It does seem that a lot of the basics aren't done right
the latest game werent as good as 2002 because it offers you customization for different tracks. I mean, almost every aspect of the racing tune the engine at the pit. the new version doesnt do much.
Worse yet...asynchronous Multiplayer (no multiplayer) in the age of Cross play and realism THIS is what they come up with? Did we not bitch and complain enough last time they pulled this crap? Not going to BS im probably going to buy it. But Once again NHRA snatching failure from the jaws of success, now if only we could have Only Camaro bodied cars in ALL classes wouldn't that be awesome : Roll Eyes . Whoever's Running NHRA and Game Mill probably still has 12:00 AM flashing on their VCR's!
If you don’t like how the game is create your own and make it the way you want it. Getting the licensing to use the real world manufacturers and body types would be very expensive
@@GreaseMonkey1137 people will buy the game if it were more realistic, the physics is horrible in this game, you can only do what the game wants you to do you don’t have much control on burnouts you can’t keep going it stops you, the smoke doesn’t look real this game is not realistic at all I want to buy it so bad but it’s super cheesy
Let be honest here Nhra speed for all is the worst game the sport has ever had. The game holds you hand all the way through you can’t tune the car your self and before the race when staging realistically the car should role forward without hitting the gas.
