- Look, you're a schlub with almost nothing going for you, while Bruce Willis's Die Hard is a non-stop adrenaline rush of awesome. We all know it couldn't care less about your cat being happy to see you or that you stocked up on tomato sauce because they had a sale going. But it at least pretends like you're not the most boring person on the planet, which takes A LOT of effort. The Bruce Willis movie Die Hard is way too good for you, and we all know it.

Can you do Seagal's On Deadly Ground next please.
Do Lethal Weapon next.
I always love the way you say "Son's of Bitches."
man, you tube just found me with your channel yesterday. I cant stop . laughimg. F. .king awesome
Hey I'm about to name a song about you. Don't be offended. It's going to my 3rd album
I’ve seen this movie dozens of times and this is a 100% accurate retelling of the plot.
Including the lesser known Seagal cameo. Even he couldn't ruin the best Christmas movie ever.
I watch this movie every Christmas
Yes. I agree
Me too. I haven't watched the review yet but I know space ice will ace it.
9000%
The real reason why Alan Rickman looked so terrified in that final scene is because they told him he had to go do a Segall movie next
😂😂😂
Hans Gruber actually wasn’t supposed to die at the end of die hard, but Alan Rickman’s original reaction was to jump off the building and this inspired the filmmakers.
@reillymcwriting also, that scene, they told him they would drop him "on three" but they dropped him "on two" (or maybe "one") and that's his true reaction
Ha ha ha ha
@@whippetrun I have heard that is true. Also that Rickman got real mad about it afterwards.
"..they get cocky and forget this is near the end of an 80's action movie where all buildings are required by law to blow the f*ck up."😂 so accurate 💯
I fucking died🤣🤣🤣🤣
I pretended to check the law books and this is 100% accurate!!!
Facts
0:04 sums it all up.
"Mega blockbuster hit movie" 😂
I'm never going to be able to watch Die Hard again without thinking of Carl Winslow's insurance problems. LOL
I can relate to Carl's problems with his insurance adjusters. My experience was very much like his. Well, without the corpse landing on the windshield thing. That didn't happen.
@@JohnnieWalkerDread After seeing this video it makes me think you haven't met enough Lakers fans yet.
@@EvertfromNederland I've met one. That's enough
Definitely a childhood classic.
I just didn't realize how much it was about basketball until now.
Yeah me too and the game version was Oresome!….anyways🤙
*Scrantondankler*
...& 🧸 too...
Bruce Willis is what Steven Seagal wishes to be
Bruce Willis is a human who pushes the limits of his body and resourcefulness to survive.
Seagal wants to be a deity, aiming for no one else to survive while avoiding pushing anything.
So basically opposites😅
You mean mentally, right?
The tragedy of Steven Seagal is that he is exactly what he wished to be. The ironic justice of Steven Seagal is that he got his desire.
Even in his now sad condition Willis is what Seagal wanted to be...
8:45 he shows up. He choreographed the whole thing from his chair.
"That's Willis's father's watch and you have no idea what he went through" I lol'd
Lmao for some reason that line went from one ear out the other until I read this. Fuckin genius
The watch from pulp fiction 😂
5 long years in that Hanoi pit of hell
"He died. Dysentery, gimme the watch..."
That watch was his birthright.
He could slowly walk over glass faster than segal can chase him 😂 savage
It’s not a space ice video without him roasting Steven Seagal
I always play a game with myself of trying to guess how Seagal will be worked into each non Seagal movie before watching
@@Stuck_In_The_Ice_BoxI had the same thoughts too 💀
He got like 53 movies and so forth
In that regard I missed the JCvD dancing scene
The best version of Willis for sure, it gets even better when you know he was dead from the beginning.
The limo driver speaks to him through the bear.
,,, ,,, what?
Stop smoking crack
@@Dixie_Recht nah, Bruce Willis' spirit is inside the bear, and the whole movie is just the dream of the limo driver influenced by the whisperings of Bruce Willis
whatttttttttt@@juanjuan-pi3of
The automatic bolt action sniper caught me off guard. This move is a classic.
Officer Carl Winslow has huge jurisdiction across the USA. Best cop ever.
Only Rickman could make saying "ho ho ho" sound sinister and cool.
Or an angry pimp
And Christopher Lee.
That's so true!!!
Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber was the best action movie Villain ever
Agreed. Rickman went on a bad guy streak, for me it was his character in Robin Hood, didn't c Die Hard till '92 (I was 5 in '88) but Hans Gruber 4 ever
Facts!
Maan I was just about to write this. No one's ever done it better
And to think, Sam neill very nearly played that part……
That cowboy line at 12:34 is kinda funny because he got to play one (double emphasis on play) in Quigley Down Under.
“Some men are born in the wrong century. I think I was born on the wrong continent.”
That's twice he was on the wrong continent.
Truthfully, I can't watch any new movies with Bruce without feeling sad.
Because of his brain problem right?
@@Jonathantheslay yes. When I come across trailers for his new movies, I would instantly get sad. Everything he did for us over the years.
Well, I got some good news for you........
@@goodbyeseeyalaterunbreakable is one of my favourite movies and Bruce was so good in it. Whenever people say that he cant act or he is phoning it in, I watch that movie
@@lookingforlove839 the last boy scout was awesome. "Head or gut?"

Finally! The true 'Best Movie Ever'. Thank you Space Ice!
I agree!
Die Hard 2 is great too!
@@ethanedwards7557and 3 (even though it's a bit different)
Agreed
@@ethanedwards7557 2 was a little too much of a copy paste. I actually like 3 the second best in the series.
"That's what he gets for thinking he's allowed to have fun" 😂😂🤣🤣
Right, lol 😆
“I really like those sequin shirts.” Everyone knows that’s the best line of the movie
While I agree that this is one of the best lines in the movie, I am a little disappointed that "Yippe Kiyay Motherfucker" didn't even get a mention.
Is he allowed to edit the movie like that. What's next? dancing Jean Claude Van Damme?
Fuck yeah!
I will always like a video that gives respect to the man, the myth, the LEGEND...Carl Winslow
It's Carl motherfucking Winslow!
This is most definitely a Christmas movie, everyone’s gotta love “Die Hard”. Alan Rickman as the classically educated Hans Gruber was fantastic.
I've seen the other Die Hards but I've never seen this one in it's entirety. This Space Ice recap is probably the closest I've come to seeing the whole movie (I had no idea there was a twin brother of Hans Gruber for example)
Watch Die Hard, now, what are you waiting for, it is, legit, best x-mas movie, ever.@@raylopez99
From where is that reference? I know a show elected Die Hard as a true christmas movie but I can't remember which show was that.
@@caio3568 it’s just been one of those ongoing debates throughout the years but I’ve seen it elected on a few of those “Best Christmas Movies” countdown. Christmas season always brings “Die Hard” on TV! The Critical Drinker did one about this being Christmas I remember that.
@@raylopez99 oh wow usually, I’d say if you got through the second and enjoyed “die hard with vengeance” then the first Die Hard will definitely be a good one to catch. I wasn’t too much into Die Hard 2, the airport, and the whole scene just wasn’t as exciting as the first or 3rd to me.
Never forget the night I saw this in theatre with high school best friend. We left the theatre PUMPED. This movie was a first of its kind back then, had never experienced action like that.
Cutting him off while asking for the tip was genius 😂
Seagal is massively underrated in this movie. He's so stealth I didn't even notice it was him until you pointed it out.
He's definitely massive
He used a body double
you mean a body triple
Possibly just once met the requirements of being a Ninja... ah no, that was Micheal Dudikof.
"Slides like a greased penguin"
Honestly, what can you say about this movie that hasn't been said so many times before? Just fantastic all the way through.
It's literally flawless
“That was awesome.” +Christopher Farley
Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber is the protagonist while the limo driver is Keyser Söze.
One of the most consistently funny channels on TH-cam that never fails to give me at least one big belly laugh with every video.
"Things go from bad to worse when his driver is a blind 12 year old" has to be the line of the year :)
Space Ice is perfecting his craft. Each new video is his best yet!
@@jamesfenton6674 aye, he's getting the perfect balance of using what the movie is, and what he makes it out to be through comedic interpretation.
@@brucewillis542belly laughs 💯 😂
Not as good as outrunning Seagal by walking carefully over broken glass
The joke about building structure damage and being near Seagal's weight caught me so much by surprise - you man are a genius, I salute you!
*Every Christmas I prepare a nice meal, grab a bottle of red wine and enjoy this awesome movie, alone with my misery.*
Sometimes being alone is better than being with the wrong person or people
*Aaaaand that's why I'm alone.*

i wanted this as a rerun at the local theatre.
i was alone.
Thank you Space Ice for curing my depression with your videos. Never stop doing this. Thank you for your style Sir

That watch reference is so damn good.

"Just remember that when you sign for the..."
Closing the door in Argyle's face 🤣🤣
It takes genius to work in references to Pulp Fiction, Ghostbusters, The Breakfast Club, Fabio and Police Academy.
Lol
And missed the opportunity to reference the sixth sense, but that's been corrected here in the comments above:)
You missed Memento, Family Matters, and Oppenheimer 😂
The Fabio getting hit in the face reference was chef's kiss though.
@@cobretti9332 Oh yes, I forgot Oppenheimer and Family Matters, but what was the Memento reference?
I'm honestly surprised Die Hard wasn't already covered on this channel. Good thing too!
This is a JCVD fan club channel first and foremost.
Then a degrader of Steven Seagull reputation, I would say if he didn't do it himself.
Finally a Reviewer 80s and 90s action movies, which means Arnold and Stallone era.
Almost forgot Niel Breene, who I never heard of until space Ice.
Had to edit
Forgot about Nicholas who is also an eccentric gem of 90s.
This cut is almost as perfect as the movie itself. Space Ice is King.
i dont know about that but SI is the shit lol
@@lowlowseesee You're right. Die Hard is more perfect.
I can't count how many times I have watched this movie and I am always entertained by it.
Props to everyone that made it, it's kinda perfect. Seriously.
I found this channel because it talks about movies I like but now I've reached a point where I watch the movies just to watch the Space Ice video afterwards.A Die Hard video is like a christmas present in septermber.
Carl was fucking waiting his whole motherfucking DAY and NIGHT, to finish Dolph Lundgrendenstein off! Mad props to the wizard guy. RIP
"Just when he thinks it can't get any worse, Steven Fucking Seagal shows up." (Clip of guy firing blind around a corner).
Perfect.
This review was so good, it needs to be on display in the Smithsonian next to Die Hard's shirt
All it needed was Seagull as a baddy mumbling the lines and JCVD as a cameo good/bad guy...😂😂
I love it when he shuts the limo door on the blind boy.
Watched this so many times. Don't know why I hand't spotted the moving bear before 😅
I like how it's actually funnier seeing this guy take the piss out of really good movies than really bad ones
The bear didn't move. The mirror is angled in a way that doesn't show the left side of the car. But the bear is still clearly near the right side of the car.
Bruce Willis is in the ring, awesome ! He has many 90's cool movies
That Die Hard / Breakfast Club crossover was pure comedic gold!
"Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe??" -- John Bender
I laughed so hard
Glad to see you're branching out from bad Seagal action flicks into awesome Christmas movies.
But no matter how far we stray from Segal, he always comes waddling back.
This IS a Seagal movie. Did you not watch the video?
Couldn't agree more, seagals stuff is good when space ice covers it but is getting a bit samey, glad he's starting on the classics now, wouldn't mind some films like American ninjas, Delta force, Conan the librarian, masters of the universe etc , good ol' 80s cinema that only cared about entertainment and not social conditioning.
As much love as this movie gets... it still deserves more.
Didn't know there was a Seagal in die hard, everyday I learn something new 😊
Knocked it out of the park with this one absolutely hilarious. Didn't know that Seagal would be making an appearance. Keep up the good work.
So many cross references, only people who grew up in 80s can understand :) EPA guy, Carl Winslow, Fabio, the vice principal :)
Bruce Willis is the Steven Seagal of good action movies!
Not sure if compliment or insult...
Its not a compliment lol 🤣 Bruce, like Steven, has a few hits and a million straight to DVD films. Bruce's hits are just ACTUAL hits!!!!
@@ImTheBestestEver he only did those movies to earn some more money for his family before he is unable to act due to his illness
Does that mean Steven Seagal is the Bruce Willis of bad action movies?
@@misternich4935 Noooo he made a lot of garbage movies long before he even got sick. Not saying its not commendable to do so later for his family, but he's definitely made more stinkers than box office hits.
As a Lakers fan this video fucking killed me 😂 good work!
Lol. Great play on words.
As a Rockets fan, at least you would have made a two hour movie out of it.
This would be a 90 second commercial with us
"It wasn't Gary Cooper either! What the f*** is going on here" 😂😂😂😂 Dahmer😂😂😂
Space Ice's vendetta against Steve Seagal is so deep that he gotta roasts him even when he's not there.
The first time I saw this movie it was the last day at school before Christmas holiday. It was this or playing board games. Everyone was too young to see it but even the Headmaster just wanted us quiet until home time, It was a good afternoon.
Cant wait till Seagal makes his own Christmas movie.
Great choice S.I. Classic action flick with Willis at the top of his game. At the same time it's sad to think about the condition B.W. is in these days. Seems like one of the good guys.
Bruce Willies with hair hits different.
This is by far the best review of Die Hard ever
As a NY Giants fan I 100% agree with this review.
"Remember that when you sign the-" *door slam*. Sometimes it's the little things that hit the hardest!
"That watch is an heirloom from Willis' dad, and you have no idea what he went through"
Nice Pulp Fiction reference
Now this, this makes me smile.
Carl Winslow takes out Fabio !! Die hard is definitely the greatest of the 80s action movies, it definitely changed the game and put Bruce Willis into mega super stardom , but space ice totally put it up a higher stratusphere with the awesome commentary
I've been asking for this for months now. I'm so glad you answered my prayers. A thousand times Thank you!! 🙏
6:37 made me laugh out loud so much I woke my 3 year old daughter up. I love this channel
The EPA guy lol! And how did nobody notice Huey Lewis with the Lakers fans?
The best Christmas film that ever existed, and a masterpiece.
Definitely not a Christmas movie
@@zachtaylor5312Definitely the best Christmas movie in history. It ain't real Christmas until Hans Gruber falls from Nakatomi Tower.

This really is a mega-blockbuster hit movie.
"then things go from bad to worse when his driver....is a blind 12yr old" got me with that one.
This cat said the structural integrity of the building is compromised, we can't have Seagal walking around with that much weight.. oh my goodness

I got my aunt to thank for introducing me to the "Die Hard" series at a young age. She's not with us anymore. But she was awesome.

The Steven Seagal reference didn't disappoint.
Your channel is awesome and so are you! Liked and subscribed brother.
I would to see you do Tango & Cash and the Last Boy Scout ❤
The subtle “Memento” reference was brilliant.

Not even a Bruce Willis fan but Die Hard is the GOAT action movie, It only when downhill from there
Love this channel. Geezus Krice 😂 Don't ever get tired of making these plz

Bruce willis is proof you don't need martial arts to be an insane action star same with Tom Cruise. Their fights in movies are basic but deadly like real life.
"He followed the sound of incessant nagging."😂.
Love how he roasts Steve Seagal, even though he isn't in this movie. Classic Space Ice.
Hans Gruber actually jumped out of the window at the end in order to get away from Holly Gennaro-McClane's nagging.
I truly appreciate your work. So many belly laughs. Thank you 💯
The 80's started with Bladerunner and ended with Die Hard. What a decade.
As a die hard laker fan, u made my day 😆
