Cortana has been depreciated and no longer works because it has been replaced with copilot.

I think clicking ok without apply will do the apply button is only for applying checking the changes you made before finalizing net selection where you undo the changes

Also it is interesting to note that, after clicking apply, the buttons ok and cancer guess the same result!i.e. "exit"

Hmm speed up windows without 3rd party tools then end the video with.... a 3rd party tool... that will do nothing to speed up any PC. Right off the bat the beginning of the video is faked. Can clearly tell the "before" shot has at least 1 or 2 apps open using the CPU, which of course will also use more ram and have a higher process and thread count. Appreciate the effort to at least display before and after pics but it's clear the before pic has at least something running in the background that was shut down when you make the "after" shot. I'm not even gonna get into the fact that you are doing this on a virtual machine and not an actual windows installation which renders most of this video irrelevant since the VM process is different than an actual direct install.
Actually now that I think about it your "before" shot is probably the task manager for the machine running the VM while the "after" shot is from the VM install task manager so of course the before shot will be using more resources as it's running the VM container you are showing in the "after" shot which will have less processes running to begin with. Matter of fact the ram and process counts are the same as the beginning of the video so all your service disabling, file clearing etc didn't actually change anything, it's the same process count and ram usage lol.
FYI the thread/handle/process count isn't important, reducing it won't speed up your PC, increasing it won't speed up or slow down your PC either. It's perfectly normal to have any amount of threads and processes running. Those number won't ever go above what your CPU can handle and shutting off a handful of services etc won't have any effect on performance unless said services belong to programs that are actively being used and you can easily close the program if it's slowing things down.
While some of the stuff mentioned in this video will increase system stability it won't increase performance, at least not enough to be noticeable and certainly nothing significant or approaching "maximum performance". FYI disabling services that are already set to manual is inviting problems. The service is already not running so disabling will not make your PC faster, it will just prevent that service from starting if you actually do need it at some point. Those types of services also shut themselves down when they are no longer needed so manual is better than disable in this case.
Disabling some of those services will also stop various parts of windows and other apps from working correctly. Some are ok to shut down but I suggest users do their homework on each and every one of those first before disabling to make sure it's not going to mess anything else up.
And hitman pro is a waste of time and money, even in your video all it found was a couple tracking cookies, none of that will slow down your machine. Better off to use MRT or a proper antivirus than that tool.

Hitmanpro did a lot of damage in my case including wiping restore point so I used my last weeks Image backup to save my good working pc, so video about nothing except damage, I agree.

@@normanwhite2227 I applaud you for at least being smart enough to have an image backup to use. Everyone depends on system restore and 99.9% of the time it is absolutely useless, MS has just mucked it up over the years so if it works it all it won't fix the 1 thing that is broken usually anyways lol.
But take note of your experience, Hitman Pro or ANY app that claims it will speed up your PC or magically solve problems or improve performance or even debloat windows is a scam. At best it will do nothing more than clean up a few junk files (that you can clean up yourself without it) and most of the time it will just make things so much worse, often resulting in a complete reinstall. Even the "famous" CCCleaner is now dangerous to use. Most of these programs are designed to appear useful while also conveniently pointing out how much more useful they could be if you just pay them money for the "pro" version or a subscription or something. Never use these types of programs and for the love of all that is good please don't ever actually pay real money for them lol. A majority of PC's and laptops I fix on a daily basis are broken because of programs like that.
