I happened to find this box set recently in a local Salvos store. When I noticed it was a Blu-ray box set, that got me intrigued. I knew they were pretty expensive brand new. But when I saw it only cost $10, that was the deal maker for me. The first season’s case was a bit damaged in the cover, but all the discs were complete and intact. So I benefited well! Lucky!
I do plan on seeing this show relatively soon.

Check out the Zanti Misfits with Bruce Dern. The little ant men were scary. I used to watch this on Friday nights in it's initial run when I was little kid when my parents went out dancing. Scared the hell out of me.

3:29 Couldn't agree more what they lacked in effects they made up for in good stories.
Why do they need the super thick cases they could just have 2 regular size cases because they can hold up to 6 discs each
Probably because the first season is 7 discs. And then it looks weird if you have one thick case and one slim case together. It’s fine by me, makes for a more lavish boxset.
Dave Lee Down Under I honestly hate those thick cases but oh well. Might pick up this set if I h e some spare money somewhere down the line and might change out the cases.

GENE RODDENBERRY OF "STAR TREK" WAS A GOOD FRIEND OF LESLIE STEVENS AND JOSEPH STEFANO THE OUTER LIMITS PRODUCER AND DIRECTOR OF THE FIRST SEASON . THAT'S WHY MOST OF THE OUTER LIMITS CREATURES AND MONSTERS SHOWED UP LATER IN THE FIRST TWO SEASONS OF THE ORIGINAL STAR TREK SERIES. "THE OUTER LIMITS" STORIES AND CONCEPTS WAS OFTEN REPEATED IN SCI-FI MOVIES AND TV SERIES OF THE 1970'S AND 1980'S. ONE OF THE OUTER LIMITS WRITERS, HARLAN ELLISON SUCCESSFULLY SUED FILM PRODUCER JAMES CAMERON FOR STEALING THE CONCEPT STORY FOR HIS 1984 FILM "THE TERMINATOR" PAY ATTENTION TO EPISODES OF "SOLDIER"' AND "THE MAN WHO WAS NEVER BORN" AND THE SECOND SEASON EPISODE WHICH GUEST STARRED ROBERT CULP. I INTEND TO BUY THIS GREAT DVD COLLECTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !!!!
For a great introduction to people not so familiar with the show, check out “The Hundred Days Of The Dragon.” It’s about a plot to assassinate the U.S. president, that went to air just two months before it happened for real.
spike012002 sounds like the first episode of the tv series The alone Gunmen, where there was a plot to fly planes into the twin towers.
I agree. '100 Days' was wonderful. This one, and 'Cry of Silence', were my favorites.
JD Bond ... The method used in The Outer Limits to assassinate the President wouldn’t work because it relies on technology that doesn’t exist. Sadly, with The Lone Gunmen, you can’t help but wonder if the terrorists watched the pilot episode. :(

It would have helped if the box had been opened and we could see the contents, this could help in selling the tv series.
My guess is you skimmed through the video, instead of watching it all properly, before you commented and accused me of not knowing how to do my job properly. Because I do an entire unboxing of the box and its content between 1:05 and 2:30.

It is my second favorite of the classic horror anthologies -- the first is BORIS KARLOFF'S THRILLER and the third is ONE STEP BEYOND. If not for the largely unsuccessful second season, it might well have been my first -- and even that second season has some real gems: DEMON WITH A GLASS HAND, WOLF 359, and THE INHERITORS. Guess it's time to buy an all-region Blu-Ray player.
