I think if you made a sandbox for ship creation after all of the ships have been discovered would be pretty cool, and if you gave us more control of individuals lives it would be nice.
After they added the experiment thing where you can change ship stats i made many many *many* custom ships. Such as: a custom artillery ship with 2000 health and has the image of a dragon node, a giant relic protector with 5000 health and a ton of speed. And a lot more.
I remember I used the Eater of Stars to essentially carpet bomb the empires, albeit very slowly for me since I'm on mobile and playing at like 10fps I pretend that they were extra-galactic invaders, the original ones who seeded the galaxy with life and was dissatisfied with how violent they were. So, using their advanced technology, they created automated structures with hundreds of layers of energy and Thaumaturgic shielding, making them nigh impossible to kill. "Marking" a star means it dispensing a small structure in orbit around the star. After five are chosen (any more in a network and it will be overloaded) all five are linked with the mothership, and triggered to activate a Molecular Disruption Device (a little thing taken from Ender's Game) which kills and disassembles all life and ships. Any ship in contact with the field will instantly begin dissolving.
I am going to host a TwitchTV channel where I will be having games AI play each other pretty consistently...your FINE TITLE will be one of the main ones I will feature. I will of coarse be playing all the other prime titles PERSONALLY as well as I have been video gaming 4 decades and am pretty much an expert at this point of coarse. Thank you for all your work in this area, you make the game-verse a better place with your efforts :)
I'd love it if u could add more maps like planets and maybe u could make it so empires send out colonies to expand. Also, could you make it so if you control an empire, you can maybe request to merge with other empires?
Will you be fixing the tentacle issue that tentacled monsters (Caecelian Abomination, Tentapprentice, etc.) have when colliding with each other? Tentacles deal damage to things, so if a bunch of Tentapprentices run into each other, they all make it out with 0 tentacles each, because all the tentacles attack each other and blow up. This happens even if they're from the same faction (including Neutral, which means Abominations ruin each other...). Oh, just remembered, there's also an issue with Explosives Museums (from the gift of Exhibition). They all move towards a star in the middle, and if that star happens to be Neutral rather than with any other empire, they all get stuck there. If that star gets owned by another empire, they'll start moving again, but eventually they end up there again, stuck as long as that star is Neutral.
Well Abominations are not friends with each other. Tentapprentices should not attack Tentapprentices from the same side of course, I'll try to fix that. But in general I don't think it's an issue that tentacle things kill the tentacles of enemies. How would you like to see that resolved?
Oh, I get the Abominations thing now :) I was assuming that they would be neutral to each other, since they are all galaxy-destroying monsters, but I guess one can't take sides in all-out galactic destruction. The Tentapprentice thing doesn't seem to be an issue anymore actually, now that I went and checked my desktop version by spamming Tentapprentice construction; I think it was an issue on my iOS version which was outdated. (Neutral Tentapprentices still slap and destroy each other, but Yggdrasils do not, probably because the trees are passive?) I think tentacles are kind of an issue in the game still; Hunters always focus on the tentacles of the Abomination rather than attacking its core and thus it never gets killed off, or at least takes very long, depending on how many there are. Also, was it intended that you could give commands to the Tentapprentice (and other such tentacled units) to travel to points, not just stars/pursuit of ships, by commanding its tentacle rather than its body? I agree with you that tentacle vs enemy tentacle combat is fine as is :) Neutral-neutral unit relations are just a little cloudy.

Wouldn´ it be possible to add a new ship type which is Pretty cheap to build and which will target an enemy planet if it wants and if it reaches the planet/solarsystem it will make some Kind of Animation and startground siege . But the Defending solarsystem has depending on its size and Wealth an amount of Defence Maybe you could Show it as Health ( the attacking Landing ship would be the only ship that can Damage the System) The faction which is attacked coulld send then a fleet to clear the fleet which might be above the planet (i think the defending faction would shoot the Landing ship before it lands ( when the landing ship lands it would be immortal) and this means the attacking faction had to clear the Orbit above the planet first) oh and before i continue the defending solarsystem would also do Damage on the attacking ship so that a attack might fail if the System/planet is rich or very big later you could also add an expirience Thing (sorry my vocabular in englisch isn´t so good)so that later the attackers Need more ships because the army there is expirienced(the Health bar could also be on bar like the faction Colours and it Shows which side is Winning and if the bar is full the faction won) and if the defenders send also an Landing ship there it will make the defenders stronger like more Manpower.i so not know if this might be a good idea. i would be happy to hear from you.
I've currently got a favourite set-up for Galimulator. Layered Rings, 1500-4000 stars, webbed lanes, classic or random blobs (it hardly matters once it gets going). Before I unpause the sim, I add maybe one or two dozen more starlanes connecting the rings to each other (since only one starlane connects each ring to the other when generated). My favourite view is to leave it on factions and have everything unticked in graphics except star regions. It's a very clean look that lets you focus on the different empires and see which factions are developing in them. Then I run it at 16x. I just watched one "empire" called Hive of Aster sustain a state of all will be ashes for over 100 millennia, repeatedly pulling back from the brink of extinction, even occupying the largest number of stars at any instance multiple times, wiping out at least 3 or 4 budding galactic empires, going full out scorched earth völkerwanderung before finally snuffing it.

Snoddas about neutral empire. They can have forced peace and join alliances I know 10 is not easy but what are those U shaped small ships which change per tech lvl.
So, recently my brother bought the game on steam for me as a gift, but there are no sounds at all, even with all the sound options enabled. Do you have any idea of how to fix this?
That will allow you to change some random things on some ships and monsters. It's called experimental since it will be incredibly undocumented and result in lots of weird things if you play with it :)
Alice Walrus nope, just casually flies off. I know gifts exist and know how ships go on quests. In my case, they just fly off, and these fleets sometimes move in herds.
They may be chasing somebody who went off for a gift, try returning all of them to see if that snaps them back to order. They shouldn't be doing this, but sometimes do :)
here i am with the free verison on mobile and trying to scrape enough money to get the paid verison on steam. easter is coming up so maybe i will buy it then
@@SnoddasMannen i know im responding again kinda late, but can you add a "golden age" state? it would decrease the likelihood of wars happening and increase the research pace. they would also be more likely to build artifacts. factions would expand at a lower pace and be less likely to form in the first place. however, attack ships would be weakened, and attempts by the empire in the golden age to take stars would be less likely to work out. in other words, less military strength, more research and stabilization attempts
@@SnoddasMannen another request, the ability to use sandbox mode to add stars right in. planets would be randomly generated, and the option to do that for the name. you can then use the edit star lanes tool to connect it to other stars
Best game, but needs more real world maps like all the continents (including Antarctica) and maybe an option to have empires created with the religion of the star their capital is on, not its minor religion or any neighboring religions
