I really enjoy the game. I can see both sides though such as in depth the game is but the progression reminds me more a the War Thunder grind and there’s way to many materials and variant’s of materials just look how many variants of stone, iron, wood, linen, meats, leather and what not. That’s not including people not liking the game because of how many items it takes to build something such as just a starter wall that’s what like 4 different material. Yeah it’s easy to get but why not just compress the materials down into something similar to rust building mechanics
@@BobSaget69 I think it’s because the devs want the game to be slow paced. I get it’s not for everyone, specially these days, but I personally like the depth of building so far. I think it’s not as bad as it seems, although it can be time consuming at times. But hey, I love being consumed by games, if not, I get bored and move on lol I think in the future, the fact that you can give any piece of gear to a brand new player, will help the zoomer audience get into the game easily, granted they join an established clan.
The cc scene for this game is super dead and therefore up for grabs. There's only swole benji who makes actual guide content. Considering how bad the wiki is and the gaming tools website cumbersome to use; I'd say you can gain a decent following if you show players how to progress in the best way. Also focus on solo gameplay because that's the majority right now. I'd say bring out a guide on the fastest way to get t3 axe and pick as that will make life sooo much easier and filling furnaces becomes a lot easier especially with the axe when one tree can give 100+ sapwood. Skip building, cooking, alchemy and all that shit until you can get wrought iron tools atleast.
Shame hes (benji) been more focused on trolling and being salty it isn't a finished game instead of actually playing something he enjoys. Wish he'd move on or actually make decent content again.
dont let people get in your head, im in a clan ( 20 people) there are solos that we help. we help them clear content, help them with gear and magic. this game is ment to be a long term game... years of play. not a rush for worlds first. good luck to you and your road to 2k subs.
Hey yuri! So you can solo the npcs. If you make certain breads they give you defense buffs against slashing blunt and etc! And it makes you and absolute tank. Of course you can’t take a mob at once. But if you fire an arrow at them and then back up you can solo each one.
My #1 is to be sure you explore -- wherever you build in EA does not have to be where you build when game goes live. All I'll say on joining a clan is that it can take a while to find a good group. In my neighborhood there are quite a few of us playing solo who join up to do expeditions into the Wildlands. So like an informal clan. The other thing is that for me there will be others joining when game goes live.
I bought the game because i wanted to get in early. It looks fantastic stunning scenery huge map. I also think they will get to a release before SC lol. Hopefully they don't lay into the micro transactions too hard. The land is kind of expensive if you want more than one plot. But i get it it is a game to be played with friends/clan.
@@taiming71 if they’re going subscription based, I doubt micro transactions will be too wild. It’ll be interesting to see if subscript make a comeback. A lot of people have been complaining about “free” games with crazy micro transactions. We’ll see though, hopefully they don’t let us down 🙏🏻
@@Ilone3765 thank you! Yes, unfortunately. They said there will be major updates that require wipes. They also said they are keeping those as few and far in between as possible. Realistically, I’m not expecting a wipe until several months from now, and I expect them to come with something major introduced into the game. If you want to look at it positively, think of it as new seasons haha

Good tips! I've also been playing solo. Need to try to find a clan. Also there is a game called Bitcraft that is very similar to this game, but more Studio Ghibli vibes. They have a closed alpha test on July 8th. Im stoked to play that one too. These kinds of games are so relaxing.
@@ot0m0t0 I agree, but I dont know why I was addicted to it so much. The feedback loop really hit my dopamine. Pax Dei definitely has more to do and explore I feel, but the feedback loop isn't hitting my dopamine as much.

ROFL!! OK, I was fully onboard with tip #1 (we've noticed the same thing), and I started to agree with tip #2, until I realized those are almost mutually exclusive. Now, you may be able to locate half-way between the two, but that might end up being pretty crowded. I think you might agree that following either Tip #1 OR Tip #2 is more likely, and either is very beneficial.
Im solo but am friendly with a lot of clans. I can hire them to help clear those Pois. Im a wandering merchant who has traveled from Llydaw to Bryonr and peddle wares everywhere in between. At least on keryns there seems to be some plants that grow more on 1 section of the map. Which makes them rare in the other areas. Managed to make a pretty penny
Completely solo as well and it is slowwwww like you said. Also agree with you that is not a big deal. I do not mind taking my time. I am in no race. The only issue I will run into eventually is the group content.

Idk why people hate on the game, I'm 30hrs in and I barely scratched the surface, it's fun and relaxing, especially for people with jobs.
Its relaxing, and can have time to do other things u need to do, people helping each other out its great.

Dude! The pvp is already in! the "5th map" Lyonesse is 100% full loot pvp and has the highest tier materials in abundance.

Clad/Township is the way to go. If your ever on Merrie map, look at the north most river/lake. Sandarats is there.

I didn't build a house, I just built a huge crafting area. maybe the second floor could be a "house" kind of thing, but 3 plots are just crafting.
