Just got mine today. Despite having a laptop and several tablets, the only Android device I have is my small phone. Had a bit of bother logging into the app but after that it was easy. Put the loco onto my DCC layout and it worked straight away using my DCC controller. The app was useful for reading and changing CVs. Initially only the address needed changing and all ran well. My only disappointment was there was not as much steam generated as I would have liked. Against a light background it hardly showed. Overall I am well pleased with it. Like in your video I intend to pull passenger coaches with it. Apparently the front lamps are set for a goods train. I am scared stiff of trying to move the lamps so out come the Arnold Sands. Enjoyed your Video well done.
The issue with the removable lamps and lamp irons on Hornby’s newer models is that Hornby keeps forgetting to tell the factory to stop gluing them in. I recently got the Hornby Black 5 N° 5200 back in September 2024 and the lamps were a pain to reposition but I eventually managed to do the Class A (or express passenger) headcode

Nice layout.
@@vincebagusauskas278 thanks
Great Layout, stunning loco, I've pre-ordered for the next batch, fingers crossed it's not another 3 years! ...Drew
@@drewsmodelrailwayworld4856 I think I had only about 10 months on order so not too bad
@@Rancidhamster Great, fingers firmly crossed then :) ...Drew
I really like the steam it adds as much as adding sound did!
I think that too
Looks good😁🙂
Hope so I think the extra cost for the steam generation is well worth it
