Trophies have become a mainstay in our gaming routines these days and going after that all illusive Platinum Trophy is the pinnacle of this. But there are some trophies that are ultra rare, that only a few of us have ever been able to obtain!
For this particular video, we're going to highlight some of the rarest Final Fantasy trophies across the broad spectrum of games that have featured trophy support. It means we're going to be talking about trophies from main series games like Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age and A King's Tale: Final Fantasy XV!

Final Fantasy Union do you know the Final Fantasy 9 you referenced was the ps1 classic and didn’t have trophy support? Only the ps4 release did.
For me, it was FFX-2 too! I was obsessed with getting 100% when I was younger. I did new game plus so many times.
I think mine was the original FFXII Probably why it's my second favourite final fantasy
I think Spyro was the first game I ever beat over 100% (fans would know the percentage goes over 100 in those games).
I beat those games completely and repeatedly back in the day. I can't wait for Spyro Reignited Trilogy so I can earn 3 more platinums.
If it has to be FF related... It would be FF7. I played the game and got everything even before it had a port and trophy list.
The first game I completed to 100% was probably Suikoden IV way back in the day. That being said, my proudest 100% was Final Fantasy X on the PS4 version for the Platinum Trophy. So much grinding had to be put in for that for that stupid Sphere Grid trophy, and while I can understand why people have trouble with the Lightning Strikes, that chocobo race was the bane of my existence.....
I got Perfect Sphere Master in FFX.
I also failed that year of college.
it was worth it.
I got the platinum 4 times, the plat of FFX and FFX-2 for PS3 and PS4. Not that hard really.Also have the platinum of all final fantasy games on ps3 and ps4 except for FFXIV.
@The Council Yes I literary just got it, it was one of the most painfully boring and long trophy that I have gotten at least its gold.
@The Council The best and fastest way to get nodes is to farm them in the monster Arena as for tips I recommend searching for a guide online as doing this without one will make the process take much longer than it needs. I also recommend upgrading yuna as her aeons are extremely helpful early in getting the nodes.

Getting the platinum for final fantasy 15 was one of the best gaming experiences I’ve had. Especially since it was the last game my dad got me before he died.
I love that game and I'm sorry for your loss, but at the same time, I'm happy you had a connection to your dad through the game in some way. I hope it made you feel loved when you played it.

FFXV is probably the one game I remember my dad sitting next to me watching me play cuz he enjoyed the story (like a movie).

I've defeated more than 10000 enemies in FF9. Never passed that damn jump rope.
Look up using a hack. All you need is a laptop and the internet. I agree it's impossible so I hacked it.

I doubt there are THAT many people who have done so without cheating. I'm sure there are some, but more than killing 10000 enemies? Yeah, right.
Well, cheating with a turbo pad and a PC shouldn’t take more then the time to get those.

I would attest that the Royal Edition thing is only that low because anybody who has even played vanilla version is counted regardless of buying it
Jacob Wright plus a lot of us had already platinumed the game before a tonne of these trophies even came out.
And the doesn't really do much to get players interested in doing the mundane

@Julian B I was tired of seeing my trophy progress sit at 45%, so I got the Royal Edition and Episode Ardyn, and replayed the game making sure to get every new trophy. I tackled all four DLC’s to 100% each, then set my sites on comrades (the completely unnecessary multiplayer), only to find it’s been patched out of the game and 100% is unobtainable. I now somewhat proudly sit at 89%.
Man, I can't fathom how many turtles I've murdered just to get that Treasure Hunter Trophy in FF13
I hate it if you get a unlucky streak sometimes I killed him 20+ times and still no drop ;(
That was actually the trophy after which I said: I won't platinum any other game that has a farming trophy like this one as it took aaaages!

I completed the sphere grids for every character years ago. I'm not doing that again.
tbh it's not that hard. especially if all your hp nodes are grouped, you fill it without trying to max luck, and fill out your sphere level farmer's hp nodes last (for me, wakka. not doing blitzball shit, and i just don't like him. tidus, auron, rikku are a fantastic melee team, and i like yuna, lulu, and kimarihi as the sort of magic backup.)
Put that ps2 to work.
Completing the sphere grid is easy using the Monster Arena and the AP farming with Don Tonberry. This becomes hard if and only if you are going for perfect stats (or as close to them as possible since there are not enough nodes to max out everything, however in the international version luck would make two stats useless once it was high enough so that you could get close to maxing every stat with the exception of MP, no one needs 9999 MP anyway).
Yeah that grind completely burned me out on ffx I probs wont even touching again
Dude, everytime I think about FFX, I got nightmare of the time I grind this trophy. Probs never touching FFX ever again lol

I was so happy to get the FFXIII platinums, but if they make a remaster... I don't think I could put myself through that again

Defeating yiazmat and omega on ffxii and playing metal gear solid 1 on ps1 were the best time of my childhood
boi heh yiazmat was a pain in the arse to beat but great if you just wanted to beat something up
I remember beating yiazmat for about 1 hour 45 minutes without using a guide. I set up my gambits by myself.
Set Vahn on auto mode and let them beat yiazmat as i watch the news on the other tv lol
I have use Excalibur and cambit for it and was going outside with my friends.
Because Excalibur has holy and with white Mask and Attack yourself Vaan heal with one Attack complitly.
One Char marke Focus Vaan for enemy the other Attack non stop.
Just saying that. It shows you're a real hard-core player ❤❤❤
Final Fantasy IX taught me never to sell anything weapons, armor, or accessories.

Nintendo power had a competition with square to find warmech and take a photo.. which I did and got my name in a later issue =) Gaming magazine achievements!
I think a key piece of information that wasn't really explained when numbering this list of trophies (unless I missed it in this video) is that the percentage you see on PSN is dependent on the number of players who have started the game, even if they only played it for 5 minutes. For instance, FFXV picked up a TON of first-time players who were new to the series, so the percentage will be much lower based purely on the fact that there was a higher base number of players to factor into that percentage. Either way, thanks for creating this list! Interesting to see which trophies other people didn't really try for compared to others.

Which is sad when you realize that in some games the very first story related trophy is obtained by like 50% of people. Do people really have so much money to buy games they will never actually play? Smh
That makes sense in an online focused game but who the fuck buys a FF game and then never even plays through the entire story? Personally i've finished every single one except XV (since i've never had a PS4). They're all amazing.
But it backfires if there's a second or third profile logged in on a single console only 1 person is playing but all involved "played" the game
Yeah, it would be nice if they mentioned the # of people who actually gained those trophies. And don’t be judgy. There’s a lot of reasons why people would’ve not gotten too far in the games. They might not have liked them, they might not have had the time. They might have lacked the ability. They might have had their copy borrowed or stolen. They might have had their console stolen or been kicked out of home. Their CD or console might have broken. They might have had a kid and not had time to play or maybe fallen into a depression and lost all interest in games (like I did) and other things. Or they might have bought a bunch of games on sale and just not have gotten around to finishing them all.
I was so proud when I defeated the hidden Iron golem inside the ocean in FF3. Thats my Trophy
I think it took me 3 or 4 tries. I remember being maxed out completely and getting all the best gear, because I was too scared of getting owned by it. I fought it once as a test, and died. SO, it was then I realized I had to beef my people up. But, yes, it was quite exciting when you finally win. Then you go back and fight it a few more times. But the first victory is worth savoring.

Seeing these trophies again, made me smile, they gave me many childhood memories. And some new ones aswell.

I'm apart of that 2.2% for the treasure Hunter trophy for 13... The story line took me roughly 50 hours to complete with some grinding. For that treasure Hunter trophy took me an additional 100 hours. I got that trophy back in 2012. Was it fun, yes. Would I do it again, maybe.

I'm so OCD that I couldn't sell anything anyway so I definitely had all the items to do this. Then because I'm stupidly OCD, I then bought the same game for Xbox and did it again. WHAT is wrong with me?
I did the treasure hunter back in May 2012. Was not a fun one. makes me part of the 2.2% i guess
I finally went back and got 100% in ff13 about 2 months ago.. Not fun at all to collect everything.
I did it on PS3 on release and last year on PC. If they'd release a trilogy remaster I would maybe do it a third time. Big maybe though :p
FFXIII took me ALL summer of 2011 to Platinum. And it was due to the fact I sold something I wasn't suppose to. Such a blessing to accomplish this.
All these trophies have something in common: Extremly time consuming.
Most of them are not difficult per say, just takes time, and a lot of it.
I got all the trophies in ffxv. It took me weeks, i struggled a lot in gladio DLC and the sectret bosses
@@emanuelspinelli7186 I'm struggling with this game. Not that it's hard, Im just not feeling it at all. I love final fantasy, but I'm just not interested in the characters at all. I'm going to get the Platinum eventually cause I don't like leaving games unfinished, im just not enjoying it. I like open world games, but there is just too much area with not a whole lot going on
@@amd1273 well i like open world games like tomb Rider, Assassins Creed and souls game. Those where you explore and get better equipment because of that

@@snuggie1849 is that the same thing? the one you can choose to fight directly or weaken first early in the game? didn't look quite the same to me, certainly not nearly as huge as it was in the first game. in xiii i'm pretty sure it was taller than the mountains.

The only trophy I have from this list is the Treasure Hunter from FFXIII. Grinding Adamantoise and Long Gui was the biggest drag I've experienced in a game so far.

Aye but after you while you get into the rhythm and start enjoying it no? For me at least was one of the funnest 100%'s I've done. Feels like you've been on some grand pilgrimage or something when you finally 100% it haha xD

Was going for the platinum and after 180 hours was missing only the Treasure Hunter Trophy, i had fought Adamantoise for hours to get the Dark Matters required to get all ultimate weapons to find out i was missing only one fucking acessory that is a unique drop from a boss that i sold for some cash in the middle of the game, never touched that game again...

Cross off what you got, dismantle and reuse parts for other items, done. I don't know what the big deal is lol
@@Brigada91RealBriggy The issue is knowing what you need and the ease you can accidentally screw yourself by selling the wrong accessories. Plus the time is a factor that players may not want to invest into all of the necessary item+Gil grinding and shopping. I feel uniquely privileged (and I'm stupid for doing this) but I am one of the very few to have willingly gotten Treasure Hunter from a fresh save in a single sitting and I would do it again
I wanted to shoot myself, going through FFXIII-2 and I hope its not that bad.
@@Brigada91RealBriggy i got it too, the issue was you had to grind those mf tortoises for 50hrs (if memory serves me right) just so they can drop a rare item once in 15-30 battles or so, and you needed a few of those ingredients for every single character. No skill, no dismantling and reusing parts, just pure luck.
Well I'm one of the people that got Golbez's Let the Hate Flow trophy. Love Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. Sure some of my battles with him that helped me were AI ones. But 2 of them were with online players. I just managed to get lucky. I honestly thought the Squall one was harder because I'm not good with the timing of his mechanic.

Sweet, I have 9, 10, and 12. Working on 15. I'm eventually going to try 13 again. I know alot of people complain about it. I personally enjoyed it. I thought the story was good and the battle system was cool. Try 12 if you get a chance. Story isn't the Best, but the side quests are awesome, the monster hunts are my favorite part of the game. They're is alot of cool bosses and the fight system is probably my favorite of any final fantasy game. I'd probably avoid 15, I'm struggling with it not because it's hard. It's just boring, that's my opinion tho

ffx hd remaster took a whole summer to platinum, luckily, I was still in highschool
Kinda late but I’m going for it now. Started in may of this year, I only have penance and fill out the sphere grid for 6 more characters. Luck nodes are testing my patience.
I remember getting so lost with the sphere when I first played FFX but once I got the hang of it I really enjoyed it.
I would argue that since the royal edition came out relatively late (combined with the pc port) so most likely the people who had bought FFXV had already completed the game or went to play it on PC.
CatSixty6 not only completed but platinumed. No point in going back and redoing a bunch of stuff for a few trophies.

Considering how long it is to complete the datalog for "pursuit of knowledge", I don't understand how they only decided to have it be a bronze trophy.
I unlocked this trophy myself, because I have no pride and it's not that complicated, but it involves completing all the dungeon necessary to unlock the "danger" ones (the ones behind the special doors) or whatever their name is, so you can complete some of them to read the stones at each campsite. Then you have to find the log in every area of eos (towns, dungeons, places of interest).
AND THEN you have to either load chapter 10 do the whole trophy in a NG+ save because there are stuff in Cartanica, Tenebrae and Zegnautus keep you need and those are areas you can't return to.
It's not a HARD trophy per se, it's just long and I get why some of us who got this DLC didn't have the motivation do unlock it. It deserved at least to be a silver.
I'm lucky I heard about missable datalog entries....so I grabbed them in my save, but damn if I hadn't I'd have been so fucking mad.
Never plsue XV, but based on the description, I'd agree. Honestly, I've seen such things in some other games that have hard or very time-consuming trophies as bronze for whatever reason.
I remember struggling to get Treasure Hunter in 13, farming for those trapezohedrons were a pain, and lack of gil made it worse.
ZephyrUltimatum I got that one to. But you cool to say we are some of the few who went through the effort of getting it.
I got it too, made me really appreciate Sazh's combat capabilities
All I'll say, is I never want to see another Adamantoise again. I hated getting that trophy, but damn was it worth it!

Oh that mountain turtle, I fought that thing when the game was new and as soon as I could to get it out of the way. I first killed it when I was lvl 34 and didnt know of the the AP grinding yet either. Killed it with the hardedge I believe....took around 6 hours to kill, got my revenge in less then 20min kill at the end of my playthrough haha hate that thing.
I started a new playthrough of Final Fantasy XIII just to get the Treasure Hunter trophy. I took a break and came back to it later. Although I’d kept track and thought I hadn’t sold anything, I still managed not to get it. So, I started a third playthrough focused only on obtaining the items and it felt so good when I did it. Took LOTS of grinding.
I have only two Platinums overall. FFXHD (the chocobo race took me 26 goddamn hours [combined]) and Modern Warfare Remastered.
To be fair, impressive games to platinum!
Defeating emerald weapon for the first time many moons ago, the best feeling i have ever got in my video gaming life seeing him flash red! 😊

You can get the bloodlust trophy right at the beginning of FF9 very easily right in the forest there is an unlimited amount of little plants that attack you.
I got the Treasure Hunter trophy in FFXIII, and it was a pain. I had made an Excel spreadsheet for all the equipment and was highlighting cells for equipment I found. Thankfully you don't have to have 1 of each equipment currently in your inventory. BUT, fun story, I had filled out my list and didn't ding. It somehow missed something? I bet it was one of those HP+ accessories, because there's 1 in the middle of the chain that you can't purchase or find but *have to* synthesize into. I probably assumed I had gotten it and checked it off.
I started a whole new game and had to redo ultimate weapon synthesizing just to get that trophy... But I got the platinum, and that feeling of relief to be done was worth it.

Just wanna comment on the Let The Hate Flow achievement:
If we're going with least popular, then it's mostly likely Exdeath or Cloud of Darkness that might have the lowest percentage. However, Exdeath is brought up by being a pretty versatile and actually good character with an annoying set of Brave attacks, and Cloud of Darkness is one of the easiest Vanguard characters to use...
Golbez, on the other hand... that he's the 'hardest' to obtain this with is kind of right. Anyone who's trying to obtain this trophy legitimately by playing in player matches (Japanese queue is super active and has a lot of players
Treasure Hunter I have from 13 and Sweet Dreams from King's Tale. Treasure Hunter I remember was a grind and I printed out the list of all the weapons/accessories and calculated the cost to upgrade each thing. It was a grind but was still fun.
Boy, my 2 week non stop grind for the treasure hunter trophy sure was something

You mentioned not to sell anything in FFXIII in order to get the Treasure Hunter trophy, but you don't actually have to hold everything at the same time. You can feel free to sell completed weapons you don't need.
Yes, it was just mentioned not to sell anything as you will sometimes need those as items for upgrade. Some items are missable so don't sell or else you will miss the upgrade.
True. I guess it's more of an addendum than a correction.
Took me 2 playthroughs to unlock this trophy, due in part to a bug in the game where if you installed any kind of patch to the game, it ended up resetting any progress you made with the weapons and accessories. I had completed the game 100%, but when it came time to getting the final item I needed, the trophy hadn’t activated for me, and made me question why. I then remembered I had sold some items for gil to upgrade my weapons, and had installed a patch a couple days beforehand that SE had released. Looked into it, and that bug reset my progress completely. Needless to say, I was pissed as that was the only trophy I needed to get platinum, and didn’t go back to it for some months. I finally did it shortly before XIII-2 came out, making sure to hold on to every single weapon and accessory I obtained so that I knew nothing like that would happen again.
@@zacharygoterch168 That's the only way. And to compare your inventory to a checklist to make sure you have everything.
@@zacharygoterch168 My first playthrough, I failed this trophy because my gf at the time convinced me "you can buy the elemental protection accessories post game, don't worry about it, it's fine to dismantle that!" ...needless to say, I ended up needing to play it a second time to get that damn trophy.
A few others have stated and you touched on it very briefly in the video, but thought I'd say that rarity doesn't necessarily scale with difficulty.
I have got 1 out of 7 of those trophies and that is ''Let The Hate Flow'' from Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. It was really easy to earn that trophy by using the network trick and it worked like a charm. I'm hoping to earn the rest of the those trophies, if I can be bother to go for them.
I platinumed 12, my favorite FF ever.
I got bored with 12, stopped playing it, once i got the cheatsydoodle bows, it became auto pilot ant i became uninterested.

Congrats! On Final Fantasy XIV... you'd think so, right? But because they haven't added any trophies for Heavensward/Stormblood, a lot of players have obtained them. The rarest right now is to "complete 1,000 Levequests" and that's sitting at 5.3% completion. Things may change in time though! ~Darryl
Final Fantasy Union - FFXIV has its own dedicated achievement system. They won’t be adding more trophies in the future.
Can't remember if I commented before, but was one of that minute percentage to get Sphere Grid Master as part of getting platinum for X and my god was it soul destroying! It actually shattered my enjoyment of the game. Proud of it though.

Final Fantasy XIII's Treasure Hunter trophy nearly drove me insane, but I did it. Also did the King's Tale challenges but that was less of a pain.
FFVIII didn't make this list because no version of it has trophy support. But seriously, the first time I took down Omega Weapon in that game, I went apeshit! It took 45 minutes and he survived 3 maxed out Lionhearts! The fact that I have now beat him like may 4 or 5 times kind of diminishes it, but the first time was still a great feat in my video game life.

Was going for the platinum and after 180 hours was missing only the Treasure Hunter Trophy, i had fought Adamantoise for hours to get the Dark Matters required to get all ultimate weapons to find out i was missing only one fucking acessory that is a unique drop from a boss that i sold for some cash in the middle of the game, never touched that game again...

I once used a GameShark (or one of those) to fill out the sphere grid on the original release of FFX. It took me a couple hours.
LOL! I've gotten FFXIII's Treasure Hunter twice (once on the PS3 and once on Steam). I love that game so much, too bad a lot of people hate it. The only other trophy I've gotten from this list was Perfect Sphere Master.
I got Bloodlust trophy in FFIX steam edition (Let the Bodies Hit the Floor III on PC version), yet.... i cannot get 1000 rope jumps, it just impossible without cheat device, your thumb is going to break after 300-400 jumps.
i did that 1000 rope jumps tho , all u have to do is keep trying until ur nerves move by itself , lol , took me about 2 days of tryin

@@Diabl05564 I used Sceptomore's Auto Hot Key Script and did it over PS4 Remote Play. I plugged my PS4 and laptop into my modem and ran the script. Got Vivi to do 1064 jumps before he finally tripped

Fun fact in the chocobo race if the opponent gets a time of 0:0:0 you can get the reward anyway. The guy moves away just like he would if you get it but if you leave the Calm lands he will be blocking your path again when you return. (First time It happened for me I didnt have the mirror so I couldnt get it. Had to redo it.)
Wellll only got one on this list. But haven't played most of them. Got platinums for VII, XV, and the XIII trilogy. Actually have the plat for XIII-2 on 2 accounts.
I was close on X, but didn't dodge the lightning. Done it once on PS2, not sure I can put myself through it again. Again close on X-2, but never bothered to do the tower.
I've almost completed the Bestiary in FF 12. I'm not even close in the sphere grid though.

Also on 10, I paid over 100million girl to Yojimbo and everytime he popped up he did his one hit or his level 3 attack, rarely his level 2 and almost never his dog. Dont know how it happened but i think buying him at an obnoxious price was the key.

With co-op players at the end of my second playthrough loading up clear file in Tales of the Abyss and doing Nebilim on the hardest mode...she had around 1,200,000Hp kill us in 1-2 moves and we were doing 3dmg to 40 dmg tops and zipped around fast. Any extra bosses that have high speed/movement are always a pain. Me and my friends that I was playing with till this day have more or less friend trophies where we see who can clear a boss/game with starter weapons or a boss WAY under leveled. In FFXV being level 10 with 2nd gun cocytus(45 atk, Ice) and only enough AP to unlock 2nd accessory slot killing a lvl 52 samurai in the mines in front of my buddies was a bigass personal trophy.
Uhh, check your dates for FFIX again. The remaster came out in 2017, and it was never released on PS3, that was the PS Classic version, which didn't have trophy support.

Never knew the Chocobo race was considered difficult until recently watching videos about FFX. It has never taken me more than couple of tries to get it. The thunderbolts, butterfly and blitzball to get the proper sigil however are another story all together.
blitzball isn't difficult, it's just time consuming. i agree with you about the rest. i hated those butterflies, with the game's camera position it was near impossible to see where the things really were. All i could do was memorize their positions after repeated failures and hope for the best. and thunderbolt dodging... well, i never completed that.
Some things are just easier for some than others. For me, I never could get the Sun Sigil. It's been years so I may have forgotten something I missed back then, but that's the only thing I remember not being able to get.
Don't remember the butterfly one well or having trouble with it so can't say anything about it, but lightning dodging, while difficult, was just timing and time-consuming. Blitzball is honestly easy, it's mainly about recruitment and farming good techs.
I just finished XV literally yesterday after doing Ardyn's A+ trophy and Gladio's Score Attack. Completed XIII within the last month and apart from that, I've done, VII, VII Remake and X.
Planning to eventually tackle VIII, IX, X-2, XII XIII-2 and Lightning Returns.
By far completing the Sphere Grid in X was one of the most satisfying moments I've ever had as a completionist. Took 145 hours, whereas XIII's Treasure Hunter took 91 hours and yet somehow felt like worse of a grind. Plus the terrifying thought of reaching the last few Weapons and accessories wondering if the trophy wouldn't unlock when talking to Bhakti was just.. never again 😅😆
Part of the reason Pursuit of Knowledge is so low is that not only does the trophy count vanilla FFXV players, but people who got the Royal Edition after the fact had to start the entire game over to fill up the data logs to 76. There were too many missable entry’s and chapter selected didn’t work.

lol, i got treasure hunter on both ps3 and steam. Yes, I did it twice, same for all the trophies in 13-2 and lighting returns, I'm a mad man.
I have the platinum trophy for FF7, FFX, XII ZA, XIII, XIII-2, XIV, XV and all its DLC as well as Type0 HD and world of final fantasy. I like platinizing all the FF games that havent trophies, haven't got FF9 yet but I will get it and platinum it

I thought the 1000 jump ropes was the hardest achievement to get in FFIX besides from FFX Chocobo race and 200 lightning dodge
many people have it because you can download some program which plays that minigame for you and you can just afk.
The main difference here is time needed. Sure, grinding 10K enemies isn't 'hard' in the sense that there's no real risk of getting a game over, but it will take absolutely /forever/ to get that many kills. Contrast 1K Jump Ropes, which on a succesful run only takes a few minutes, and each failed try not only takes a lot less time (obviously) but also gives you practice for the next try.
It's the same thing with maxing out the Sphere Grid for all characters versus 200 lightning dodges. The lattes is harder in the sense that it takes a bit more effort and that there's an actual chance of failure, but the former is such a huge time sink that less people end up bothering with it. Add to that that the Jump Rope and Lightning Dodge things have at least some kind of bragging rights reward to it, and you end up with these kind of results.
It is the hardest. That 10,000 enemy kills is easy but time consuming.
@@iris089 I consider that time consuming to be hard too though. It's really a test of patience. Come to think of it so is the jump rope. They're basically the same it's just with the jump rope you can track your progress by seeing your number increase. With the 10,00 kills, there is no way of tracking your progress. Sure it doesn't require as much precision but it's difficult in a different way.
@@joelman1989 It's different. In the 10,000 kills the trophy is guaranteed as long as you keep on killing enemies. While in the Jump Rope, it's a test of skill and no matter how hard you practice and try, there's no guarantee of success.
It took me 3 years to get every node filled. Sometimes I would spend 20 hours in a single week playing it. It really is not worth it

I never got to level 99 in the original FF IX and I certainly grinded more than 10 hours in endgame areas after beating the game.
I'm going back to get that treasure hunter trophy it's just taunting me.

I have Pursuit of Knowledge, and it only took 3 or 4 hours of actual hunting to get. I was lucky because I hadn't done any Menace Dungeons before downloading the Royal Edition so I didn't have to replay them, but if you use the chapter select function you can get through this very quickly. The only real problems are the Menace Dungeons which can take 10-20 hours to complete entirely, so if you weren't planning on playing through them anywhere, you're in trouble.
definitely agree with a lot on this list but the DLC tropihes are ALWAYS much lower because the DLC trophies take into consideration the people who played the base game but didn't get the DLC so the final entry is very skewed. Ironically I have gotten pretty much every trophy on this list with the exception being the XV "prequel" due to only having played it while XV was installing and promptly uninstalled it as soon as I was able to play XV lol, might go back and take a stab at it. Only thing standing between me and the IX platinum is the Hail the King trophy as I can barely do 100 jumps, let alone 1000.
I maxed the sphere grid in FFX with 3 characters. I thought any more than that would be redundant. Aside from Yuna and her aeons, everyone is just learning everyone else's shit. More than enough to beat every enemy in the PS2 version. Even so, it wouldn't be that hard with the Tonberry in the battle arena. Killing 10 of every enemy was the biggest pain for me.
I did get the treasure hunter trophy in 13 though, after dragging my feet for, what, 8 years? I would've had it my first playthrough, but I sold the ice earrings or whatever, can't buy them, couldn't upgrade to the other accessories, so I literally had every trophy but that and obviously the platinum my first playthrough. Got a bug up my ass two years ago and did it. Fuck trapazohedron.
And I'd totally do that 15 trophy if they'd make a hard mode or more bosses or something, since I already platinumed the regular version.
HavokStrifeX all already 100% the regular version and the first two dlcs. But I can't be bothered to do any of the other content they added in. They just isn't enough there to do.
@@CurtisMiller1995 The Ignis dlc is by far the best one, the second ending is wild. You're missing out. I otherwise completely agree with you. I think they would have done way better expanding the world of ruin than making a multiplayer..among other things..

that is the fast phase, it starts to take time when you begin to delete bad nodes and replace them with the maximum luck increase nodes you can only get from the monster arena boss.

hahaha i just realized that i have issue with my focus. Around 4-7 min dodging, i start to think about enuandas and jump before the lightning pop up.

I did find it much easier to complete the lightning task by the crater exploit which in a way allows you to time the lightning strikes.
It was still brutal though.

I'm still currently working on Bloodlust... I started a manual kill counter count and have 4,500 so far (not counting everything I did during my actual playthrough). I really hope it pops soon because it's taxing and time consuming. It's literally the only trophy I need to get the Platinum...
I have a couple of memory cards from PS1 & 2 that I refuse to get rid of for this very reason. I put so much time into 100% finishing those games (ffx, Dino crisis 2, metal gear games and probably more that I've forgot about) that it's like a part of my soul is stored on them. Then trophies/achievements happened and I fell down that rabbit hole hard haha
