    Hello everyone,
    Welcome to another Linearity Curve tutorial! By now you know Aysel Cebrailoglu! You can call her Aysel. She's Linearity Curve's in-house illustrator, badass creative, and 3D animator who filmed this tutorial especially for you guys. Stay tuned though, this is one of many!
    In this step-by-step guide, she is showing you how to create a super cool wave text effect in Linearity Curve. This can be a logo, a header, or a stand-alone design!
    You can use this technique and apply it to any font, whether it is alphabets or numbers! For this design, we used the Brush Tool, Masking, Gradients, but most importantly we took advantage of a super-nifty button in our app: Duplicate & Transforms Again.
    This video had been re-uploaded to match the latest UI 4.8 changes.
    This video is part of a bigger series called Linearity Curve Tutorials, which is meant to help you become a better illustrator and designer. If this feels too advanced, check out our Academy video series which teaches you how to start working with vectors in our app.
    There are lots more where this came from. Make sure to subscribe to the Linearity channel to never miss a thing. And click on a new video to keep learning.

    Thank you for the tutorial. I found it easy to follow and a great pace. Nice and quick and to the point. I simply used the pause button between steps. Great effect too! :)

    Is there a way to repeat an object and let it follow an existing path? Something like the 'place text on path' function but for objects instead?

    What does outline do?

    • @MTGApollo
      @MTGApollo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It changes the paths to shapes so you can add gradients to them and many other things

      As Apollo mentioned, you convert the font into a vector object and then use it as a building block in your designs. In this case, it was used to create a clipping mask.

    You should focus more to tell us with which button you created something. Kindly zoom that park in your iPad. I am totally unable to understand how did you mark at the end, kindly explain

    this tutorial was so confusing i ended up giving up, i didn’t understand how to duplicate since my vector wouldn’t work the way it did in the video 😭

      Hi there, our Help Team would be more than happy to explain how to achieve this effect if you wouldn't mind reading out via support@vectornator.io

    Everything is too fast, without mentioning where, what and how. Feel like an idiot following your tutorials. You rapidly tapping things without waiting for us to follow along. Had to slow down video speed so I could keep up.

      4 min video took me 30 mins cause of having to go back and try and figure out what she did. Good tutorials, but she just needs to show her actions clearer.

    Your tutorials are too too bad . We watch tutorials to learn how something is created not how is it possible to create that thing
