So I was adding up your totals and you’re about +25 for passing cars in total since joining shark. A lot of that is unfortunate circumstances in the qualifying or heat races to start at the back and move forward. So to me that’s the best education you can get. Winning from the pole isn’t impressive… fighting to move forward isn’t as glorious but it shows you are improving. Stoked to follow the rest of the season
I have to agree winning from a pole or the 2-4th starting positions isn't as impressive to me as starting back to way back in the field and working your way towards to a win. If you watch the Outlaws long enough you will realize that Everyone has their good days and bad days, the main ingredient in that is that they are all Human and it happens

Single file restarts cause enough mayhem. So why does the WoO insist on double file. As for a little tight in Q? It was a lot tight!
@idnwholesale8552 I believe at least in the main events they go single file on restarts if there is 10 laps or less to go in the race.
My prediction for the the east coast swing Tanner will finish top 5 at Eldora and Win at Sharon. Top 15 at the Grove and top 10 at Port Royal.
When you double file restart several rows back, everything is a reaction. It's really hard to be proactive because you don't have any clue where cars are going to be. The things that's irritating is there's less than 10 laps left and no one around you was on pace with the leaders. So where do they think they are are going? I think the race you ran was fine. Track was bottom dominant. You just has one small bobble on a restart and you got run over by cars who clearly weren't going to win anyway. Just one of those deals 🤷♂
