Great run BUT. WOO let him get away with one...He hit the restart cone on second to last restart sending it flying...He should have been sent back two spots on following restart...

@chuckg6039 I DK But they did..And the "this isnt Nascar" Comment is funny..BOTH NASCAR and WOO/KNOXVILLE have a line in the rulebook allowing them to look away..The rules should be black and white but the added the term "Descretion" in a line at the top.. Look at the restart @3:30, He misjudges the cone and slaps it into almost into the infield..That by definition of the rule KNOXVILLE and WOO have in place is a 2 spot penalty(I have it in front of me.)...However they allowed him to keep his spot...Hence "Look the other way","Pretend didnt happen", "Didnt want to ruin the headline" whichever you prefer...I like Gravel not trying to take anything away from his charge...I AM sick of the inconsistant officiating though...@@chuckg6039
What a race! We are seeing amazing sprint car racing in 2023. Deep fields. The level of driving is top notch. Great to be a sprint car fan!
The Knoxville Nationals is by far the best money race for the season because it pays great money to a lot of the field. For example, Brent Marks didn't make the A Main and finished 5th in the B Main but his 5th place finish in the B Main still got him.$10,000. $10,000 is the regular winning total for the average WOO winner in most WOO races.

Say what you will about Larson, but that was an unreal drive by Gravel.
Gravel made a great run but others have come from the back to second. Jeff Swindell did it twice and Shane Stewart once. I can only remember Wolfegang leading the whole race and it was 30 laps then. There have been a handful of times that guys have run the alphabet. Wolfegang did it and Brad Doty did it.

If there has ever been a dash for the cash, fifty laps, that was one of the best I've ever seen. Gravel put on one Heck of a show. Kudos to Larson on his win.

Lowell Moural Sr. He owned and operated Cycleland Speedway and also did track prep at Silver Dollar Speedway. Most of the NorCal guys got their start at Cycleland speedway in karts. Prayers for the family

I remember seeing Wolfie and Brad Doty run the alphabet from deep to podium finishes in the A. I know jeff Swindell came from the
back to run second twice and Shane Stewart did it too. The only time anyone has ever led the whole race was when it was 30 laps.

I think you are witnessing a very gifted driver for this generation of drivers ! David Gravel was trying not to be denied of that win! Awesome job for him and the team! I am really surprised that Donny was not closer to win this one either, I figured he would really be excited to tie Kinser's record? I felt for Logan Schuchart I figured this was a great shot for him to win the Nationals as well! Great run for Hot Sauce as well! Rico did not have the run I thought he would as well! Overall this was a great race in my opinion!

Sucks for Logan Schuchart and a bad day for us PA fans in general at Knoxville. Not really anything to cheer about in PA as well because the best PA drivers were either here in Knoxville or on vacation this week not racing at all.

@dansantarsiero1526 This past weekend in PA was a wasted weekend unless you are a Freddie Rahmer fan. It was Freddie Rahmer vs little competition, especially at Big Diamond Speedway on Friday which was Freddie Rahmer vs 18 drivers with most of those 18 drivers basically rookies like Devin Adams, Kassidy Kreitz and several other drivers that I never heard of before. This coming weekend in PA is much better, especially Sunday at Selinsgrove Speedway with the All Stars coming to Selinsgrove plus Justin Peck, Justin Sanders, Brent Marks and Anthony Macri and possibly others will be in that All Stars race as well.
