  • This is a run focused on getting knowledge about the Barbarian Hammer. We will focus on Souls and properties of the attacks rather than pure damage output. Magic will be allowed but limited (Naturally, GK limits the value of orbs). There is also a need to see how BH can interact with different magic attacks.

    3:27 What was it? 80HP and statue/obstacle status, so no P% or power modifier factor, so 15 at a time. The range issue is a factor, too. Six landing should do it. If they land. Glad even the central one works (so high off the ground). I forget if your shockwave is explosive. Think it is (so P% would factor, actually). If so, then it would be 15. Let's count how many you used. **does so** 22 with some clear whiffs for range and aim. Safe to say it was taking the L for the P% while explosive factor, eh?

    I don't think it is actually hitting it despite the hit count. Hard to say. Would have to land 14 MotK then spam souls for a bit to be sure.
    4:17 Another down. Don't think the third at the start is within reaching without getting to higher ground, at least. Maybe atop the perch where the hive you just broke was, or the solid platform leading to a traversal wall? Or even the high ground leading ahead?
    4:50 This blow will be as strong as lvl1 on Normal for primary parts of the hit (secondary of them is explosive, so it scales). Easily beats MotK in terms of dps.
    5:06 Surprised you haven't shown off the absurd output of their OS kill with that 10/15 split (latter notable for EP% scaling on statues/obstacles).
    5:20 Atop this bit of rock is a platform you can jump from to reach the next spot without the wall section. No idea why so many vets don't know about it. But this is a BH run, so you should probably still use HJ to bypass all that.

    5:58 Time for some EH set-ups with Flicks (maybe LoS), I suppose. Sooner you kill the other respawning harpy the better (less opps for souls to control). If you can kill one of the x2 Caps, then you can better control the two respawning blazing birbs. Ol' Batra in hand, that just leaves HL (who will attack frequently, so probably stay at a distance or get tagged **would say RotT tank, but it makes me nervous if not the PS2 edition**).

    Feels like they go outward away from us relative to the position from our body when struck with this (while flipping in the usual manner). It isn't just where we look, then (nor where their back points like typical for knockback).

    10:35 This is the exact spot I theorized to Mustafa would be an ideal combat zone for when not doing my FIGHT method of air OS kills. Camera to work, least amount of trouble from spikes (or having to learn patterns) and close to the exit/block.
    NOTE: I forget how many at a time we have here. If only 3, then LoS and Flick should hold them off pretty well to limit how much you need to kill them before the last moment.

    19:42 I remember telling Xtreme to use E Athena so he could taste the glory of MAX TB focus (with SoD as the sub-weapon to regather MP from DMG kills in a lot of places). Could angle TS to sweep from the x2 priest spot up-right to hit the natural spawns.
    NOTE: Very nice showing. Hope to see at least one HM locked with flicks into light or heavy string spam (rather than EH set-up). Got to show all the tech we can.

      5:48 They do reach. Its just time consuming. And it only reaches when the birb comes close. No way to reach the others.

      Took quite some time to cook this. My winrate jumped though with the order of steps mentioned. And this without using RotT and MP before 2x spawners. I could grind a W without any MP as well. I was feeling myself and decided to end the last bit with a storm.

      Coming up in ER. Will make sure to do it. Also, I could hop into the arena and demo all enemies and souls interactions in 1 vid. Though I am not super good at explaining and editing.

      That works too (though having one HM or other relevant foe done this way during the proper run is preferred).

      It would be useful to help spread knowledge. He still needs to promote more of Wright's work (as with TM3 advancements). He's got the platform from his days doing 'top X' and such, so it is useful to the vet community.
