Welcome to another character guide in our favorite, Don't Starve Together! This time around, we will take a look at one of the more unique experiences within the game governed by our favorite duo, Wendy and her dead, twin sister, Abigail.

I play her cause I'm trash at kiting, and her personality is amazing
5:44 even if you can only have 1 abigail at the time, and the other flowers "seem" to revert back to level 1. The flowers is still ready to summon abigail(if current abigail disappear.) since each flowers have their own cooldown.
If Wendy is the bereaved, does that mean that Woodie is the beavereaved?

See, I'm not very good at fighting, especially since I only have the game on mobile, so Abby definitely comes in handy!
The only downside for me is, Abby's ghosty sounds are pretty creepy, and kinda distracting.
But other than that, she's great!

Fighting on mobile isn't that bad, honestly. Coming from someone who has played both PC and Mobile, getting rid of the virtual stick and keeping the action buttons is quite helpful. Just learning how to adapt movement to kite on mobile is helpful.

She's my favourite and I picked her up because I got the Triumphant skin for her as a random drop and turns out she's good for people who play on high ping (like me) and can't kite properly, so that's why I love playing her so much! She's just amazing in all ways tbh :D

When I first started the game I decided to randomly choose someone to play, and I got Wendy and fortunately for me Abigail really helped me out since I was a newer player, and I'm still using her as my main today
Maxwell is Wendy's Uncle. So Maxwell has a sibling that had 2 daughters.

something thats worth noting, it IS a mod.. but theres a mod that lets you revive wendy's sister. you spawn her normally. then use a telltale heart on her. and she revives into an npc that runs around and collects things, helps you fight (if given a weapon) makes tools and torches to help you at night or when harvesting supplies.
its a fairly smart AI. the mod itself is a bit unstable. but its a really cool way of adding another "player" into a solo world.
In the current version when Wendy starts healing Abigail she starts moving with Abby (like sliding)

Wendy is, in the lore, presumed to be Maxwell's niece, I can't remember WHO made the theory I watched but he did an amazing job explaining the theory.
Wendy has always been my favorite. Sure she's not the greatest game wise, but I love her personality and instrument. As well in the end it's not about most days survived, or fastest boss kill, but instead having fun.
When I was little (like 9 or 10), I belived that Wendy and Maxwell were somewhat close to each other because of the flowers they have on theirselves and my older brother made fun of me because of it which made me mad and a bit embarrassed ._.
I wish they would make Wendy a magic user since most of her promotional animations look like she's using the flower as a weapon and maybe even have her own special tab with basic magic.
Wendy is one of my favorites characters to play with, mostly I played as her for her personality because I was unaware of how to summon the ghost or how to use it. Thank you for making this, it's puts a whole new shine on our morbid friend.

Always loved her. When i dont play with her i miss my sister in a lot of times. She farms and help a lot!
She has always been one I enjoyed as well but never played to often. Hopefully her rework changes that!
I think with bosses abigail is pretty much a distraction. Me and other 3 people were playing and we decided to attack the bee queen, Abigail did a great job at taking the boss attention for us to hit it. As soon as abigail died we died.

I wish Wendy would have a rework that let's her use magic with less sanity decrease. She's the only one along with Maxwell that has a magical item with them. Either that or she has an amazing ability to befriend even hostile cratures.

Wendy is probably my favorite character, both in Personality and Gameplay, but fighting bosses isn’t Abigail’s speciality and with Wendy not being very strong, it’s hard fighting bosses, so I see Wendy as more a support character, like taking out spiders for a spider queen fight or something.
She is certainly a support but can be REALLY helpful in certain aspects of the game, and with her new rework coming who knows what changes she will bring!?

Bilal Shafique Reworks are coming out for everyone, also yes it’s gonna be a special treat to me and Wendy fans. I hope the animation goes into Wendy’s family life and how Abigail died exactly.

It's probably going to be a depressing one.
There's also evidence of the family connection between Maxwell and the twins in the William Carter puzzles (I think it was that). There was a letter addressed to Maxwell from a relative saying they're excited for him to meet "the twins."
I feel like some characters need some improvements like Winona did

-Allow us to command Abigail/Decrease aggro time on Abigail.
Ren Shinomiya There’s a mod for having Abigail stop attacking things you don’t want her to
@@hourglassatrium841 I know, but when you use Wendy on vanilla servers, Abigail would just go back to being a suicide bomber.
+The mod only make Abigail stop whatever she's doing when we're far away, not stopping aggro on command.
Willow needs a change compared to wendy, but to change abagail would be good.

It’d be cool if Abigail could possess monsters she couldn’t handle.
Some characters just cheese bosses anyways, I think it’d be cool to have one on your team for once... that isn’t a huge teddy bear that is...
Or maybe she could use magic items with way less penalty... since, she’s literally traveling with a magic item...
Or maybe Abigail could possess the dead body of her sister when she’s summoned, giving you an extra life and “Wendy’s flower”...?

Wendy doesn't want to forget Abigail, so she is always remembering her. Death is not a taboo anymore, so she can relate it to more things
But she is happy having her.

She's depressed, but she embraces it in a satrical and sarcastic way
I like Wendy since I really prefer to avoid fighting, kiting isnt my thing tbh and Abigail helps with spiders. And is dst I'm a support instead of being forced to be a tank
I love Wendy when it comes yo killing koelafants, just let him get stuck or fall asleep in the night, land 1-2 hits on him and let Abigail take care of the rest... Really useful if you have low health or you're just lazy...
I played her a few days ago and I love her. She is a great character!
One time I had a perfect layout for Webber’s skull as Wendy on don’t starve mobile
better abigail mod makes her really awesome. i know it technically cheating, but some extra health and increased dusk attack power lets her actually help out for bosses
I really like playing Wendy but that 25% damage reduction is very annoying
Yeah, when Winter come i always search for blue feather, and i should swing boomerang two times to kill a bird instead one hit for another character. Its the annoying thing.
@Gabriel Cunado Chang if Spider Queens are the toughest bosses you've fought, wait until you fight the Bee Queen or Dragonfly T_T
I love Wendy to death and refuse to give up on her, but I am absolutely DREADING the thought of fighting the Dragonfly. It'd take me 138 stacks of gunpowder to kill her... and that's the most "practical" way to go about it considering gunpowder is one of the few offensive tools Wendy can use that ISN'T affected by her damage reduction penalty :(
@@m3gusta17 new update and now Wendy's damage reduction is NEGATED. If you tank bosses with abi that is... AND KEEP THE BOSSES AGRO ON YOU!! And you're killing em with style 💪
Wendy is definitely one of my favourite characters to play. I love the Abigail mechanic and think she’s a fairly interesting character overall.
Also I love depressed girls but let’s not think about that aight?
She's my favorite just for the personality alone. I wish Klei made her back story animation soon.
I am a Wendy Main, and i notice, with a walking cane, you can survive a hole winter night only by chasing Abigail down, is very useful at some point.
Wendy is my favourite character, it's not the best for fighting but you also choose the character that suits your personality when you play Don't Starve I think. Also Abigail has a lot of health so with a strong weapon fighting is not big of a problem.

So when I first got this game my friend was demanding that I played it with him Because He bought DST and gave me the extra copy. They first ever character I picked was Wendy and she's still my favorite character.
This is a character which I highly recommend mods if possible. Not many mods make this character OP but certainly a lot more fun in my opinion. For instance there is one where using a telltale heart can revive here and act as a second Wendy.
I mean honestly it just makes sense. Using a Telltale heart on her should make her act like one of Maxwell's Shadow Duelists.
I love how now Woodie's goose can run on water.
Ive been playing Wendy on ship wreaked lately, and Abigail has saved my life more times than I can count. Not to mention the amount of monster meats I have because she agro's on EVERY f l i p p i n M o n s t e r. I'm never gonna run out of meatballs.

You see, the trick is to pair with a Webber. Getting monster meat and controlling the spiders is absolutely no issue and they can amass a devastating army.
Ability: destroy your ears with a siren noise
I love Wendy because not only does she fit my more passive play style, getting butter fly wings and killing spiders is the easiest thing with Abby. (Sorry I got used to calling Abigail Abby lol). Big tips for anyone that wants to experiment with Wendy. 1, Get Abigail as FAST as you can. The sooner you have her the quicker you can start farming spiders, moles, and even some pigmen. 2, take breaks in between battles so Abigail can regen, she dies easier than you think. 3, Take advantage of Wendy's nighttime sanity loss. Make your fire as big as you need to even see a little of where you need to go. As well, night travel with torches or lanterns is easy.

@Gabriel Cunado Chang The only thing about using Webber to farm spiders is you either have to bait the spiders out with Chester or you need to wait until dusk and amass an army before you start throwing spider hands around. And anyways, like Beard said in the video, Abigail can attack multiple spiders at *one time*, meaning her damage mitigation is better than Webber's, even with a decent amount of Spiders. As well as, Abigail isn't an immediate aggro to spiders, so going past them is easy.
@Gabriel Cunado Chang Wendy, Wigfrid, and Webber are the easiest characters to farm spiders with. Of course Willow and Wickerbottom could also be of use. But if you take in the pros and cons of both Webber and Wendy for farming spiders, they are both quite equal. Really, the only advantage Webber has is being able to spawn in spiders without needing to attack tier 3 nests and not be an immediate target.

Ophelia is a character from Shakespeare's play "Hamlet, Prince of Denmark". Ophelia was a very depressed girl who killed herself by drowning. So Wendy saying: "Ophelia? Are you down there?" is Wendy's way of making a joke.

Controle de sanidade é muito bom com ela, recomendo montar a base perto de Cactos, que vc sequer precisará de tenda.
Abigail pelo dia só consegue lutar com aranhas, mas pela noite se vc criar o capacete de mineiro, o dano dela fica absurdo e ela ainda tanka o dano dos enemies.

Seems a bit weak, I guess its a good starter character for people not used to fighting. Might be cool to give her complete darkness immunity to go with her kit.
