Hey Robbie, My dad's side of our family comes from Finland. And my granddad has always pronounced rapala "rupulu" and when people (me) pronounce rapala like you, he always tells me the other way to pronounce and tells me to put umf into it. But who cares how you pronounce it they are bloody good lures, anyway love the reddie videos.👍👍👍
Nice one Robbie! My biggest Redfin so far are 35-36cm and they fight much harder than the smaller ones. Even more so than the high 20cm mark. My biggest was ironically on a small mepps bug spinner. Trebles make a huge difference because I also noticed the big ones are smarter and go for the tails of soft plastics. My go to is still small tackle tactics jig spinners 1/32-1/8oz max.
G'day Robbie. I always keep one or two bigger lures in the tackle box. If I ever come across a big pool on a trout water I'll put on a bigger lure. I have a jointed 11cm Rapala that I'll put on. If I'm ever going to get a big fish that's the lure that normally gets them. Some great redfin you caught this time. Well done mate.

On the subject of bigger lure bigger fish next time you are browsing search Mepps Tandem Musky Killer. Different colors different sizes but the average is about 6 inches in length. They are a complex spinner bait having two different size trailing trebles. They are usually skirted. I think it was late 70's or early 80's. I liked it so I purchased a second one just for my display wall.

Tackle Club question: when you do the boxes are the prices discussed in AU dollars? Fish question: if you are going to eat a fish which species do you prefer?
Hi mate, yes they are Australian prices. I'm not sure if tackleclub ship internationally. I think anybody will ship for the right price. I ordered some crawfish nets from Louisiana recently. The postage was almost 3 times the price of the nets. Haha 😂😂 I love a feed of yellowbelly. I love redfin too, but prefer it when there's a few more in the waterway before I take any.
@@robbiefishing I used to have an eBay store and I shipped internationally. Shipments going your way did have terribly high shipping rates but I still shipped many vintage lures and reels your way. The rods were a shipping nightmare even for two piece rods due to the length. It was easy enough to wrap them then ship in a cardboard tube but that length has a terrible premium price. Most things ship by weight alone but the US postal service has size parameters as well. And yes, often the shipping cost exceeded the price of the item.
