I will inject 3.3 v on output side of jumper which u just clean... Then I'll check for component which is leaking current. Maybe be it will get hot when maximum current flow.

In this particular situation, I would like to check DC To DC Converter Circuit for shorting without getting out its fet/ic, if my purpose isn’t solved then first I will Inject form 1V to 3V on the outside jumper and check the load of current and there is the possibility that faulty component will get heat. After I will pull out switching fet/ic and then checkout. If this not solved my purpose then I have to check one by one where this supply is going.

1) coil ke baad k open pad me jumper. marte or dc volt 3v tak badate jo bhi jayada current le raha hoga heat hota
2) jumper se kam na chalta to pahle dc to dc ic hata ke dekhte ab kya condition hai
3) isse bhi na hota ho trace karte kaha kaha ja rahi hai supply track kut karte.

What would be interesting is to understand how the bios chip know that to much current is drawn so that it cycles the power. My guess is that the bios measues the current from the adapter or battery via the bq charger chip. Could that be right?
