Il reballing è un processo delicato che consiste nel rimuovere il BGA , tramite macchine professionali ibride , riscaldando a infrarossi , e successivamente prevede la sostituzione del vecchio stagno ossidato e crepato con dello stagno nuovo di una lega differente e di miglior qualità. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี

He actually showed the results and it was a successful repair.
This is not repair. Reballing is bullshit. That card is toast and is gonna get rekt again after 3-4 months.

@@rip2lucasX get a replacement chip. If you can't get it for cheap, bake the old chip. Rinse and repeat when it dies again. Do not pay these assholes. They are not repairing it they are just delaying the inevitable.

@@rip2lucasX while removing and soldering back the card, he heated up the chips internals. As Brad says, these internals, that where not funktioning before, will after sticking together from the heat, fall apart in some time. A real repair would be getting a new chip.
Most of the people watching this video, don't have the "balls" to do it.

This is the best repairing video I've ever seen.
You can do BGA chipset with cheap tools.
You can't.. That's not the proper way to do that, becacuse you can overheat PCB/PCH and damge it.

Thank god for CPU/GPU sockets as pretty well anything else on the board can be repaired or replaced but reballing needs special tools and stencils to do it right or be really skilfully without. I have had some success without but it can be a little hit and miss.

Hi, may I know what hot air you are using? What is the temperature settings ang airflow?
Even though this looked good and safe, it wasnt. Never use solder braid/wick on the BGA pads. You risk removing the solder mask (the green) from the vias and local pads as seen in this video. If you must do it this way due to the lack of the correct tools, use the smallest braid/wick you can find and individually touch each pad so as not to remove the solder mask. It also wasnt obvious if a thermal profile was followed, something that can damage your pcb and the part if not used. Dont trust every video you see on the internet as being the way to do things just because someone made it look easy. Doing it incorrectly is often easier than doing it the right way.
cut that shit of yours. u just need to use right temp and not use force. this way u never remove mask. using thin braid makes MORE damage because force is concentrated to smaller area

you think reballing will fix dead cpu?this is used only if you need to take out cpu for a new one else you dont do reballing but you hold heat at 150c cuz it has small grooves with special fillament that is damaged
@@danielsatko- you think it's possible to replace a dead i7 8750h processor the same was as done here? We don't have specialised machines to heat up the CPU when reballed and attached to the motherboard in my country

A professional you say, have ever seen a BGA reballing or is this your first time ?
Normally it takes only one take to put the balls at the chip with a stencil and not fiddling with balls afterwards that's far beyond professional if you ask me.
If I was him I would have cut that part of the video as this looks as a clumsy job.
But he managed to do the repair and that's what counts.

I can see that the template has holes for 0.5mm balls. What kind of balls did you use, whether 0.5 size or a little smaller. If so, what are they?

you can control the heat gun and iron's temperature if they are professional ones with a station

A filmagem é excelente, mas por que colocar as esferas depois de soldar com stencil? Por que não colocou todas antes de colocar calor?.para que serve a MÁSCARA de UV?
Pensei a mesma coisa sobre as esferas, até porque aplicar calor duas vezes só estressa mais o CI. Acredito que a mascara UV seja para evitar contato das esferas com trilhas que não deveriam.
