Is there a waitlist? Is it hard to get in and are they strict on credit? Single mom moving back to Florida next year and trying to get my first home

@@HabitatOrlando thank you for that info! I should just wait a couple months before I’m ready to move correct to apply?

@Micaela Johnson You're welcome! You do need to be a current resident of Orange or Osceola County, Fl to be approved. Once your application is approved, it does take several months for your house to be constructed and closed on. If you have any further questions, we encourage you to reach out to our Program Services department at (407) 648-4567 and press 1, or Home@HabitatOrlandoOsceola.org.

Hi. What's the average monthly payment for a home?

    • @HabitatOrlando

Hello Redd, it varies. When we approve an applicant, however, their estimated payment is 30% or less of their monthly gross income.
